Initially you may consider the price as expensive but what you get is nothing short of brilliant. The accommodation in site is included in the price (and you can add more nights!) for happy couple and up to 5 other couples. This also includes breakfast across the two days you stay (included in price). Fran, Ben, Rosie and Hazel answer all questions and provide solutions for anything you have issue with. They’re always on email and respond quickly! They also have a great working relationship with many local venders who always speak highly of LowGall which makes it even more wonderful. The day is orchestrated perfectly, and Ben and Fran act as your wedding coordinators, making sure everything runs to time and making sure everyone is where they need to be, when they need to be there. The venue itself is just beautiful. Rustic and modern at the same time which made it perfect for the vibe we were after. Accommodation is also super close for guests! Which makes it’s really easy for people to get to and from the venue. The two bars are perfect for enabling people to drink as much or as little as they like, and the space the have is perfect for large or small weddings We really wish we could do it all again! 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the moment we viewed Fairbank we knew it was the venue for us! Fairbank really speaks for itself and the flexibility to DIY and choose your own suppliers according to your needs and vision is super. You can’t predict the weather in the Lakes but Fairbank is well prepared having multiple stunning indoor and outdoor spaces all for your exclusive use. In the months running up to the day we attended an open day for booked couples where we could measure up spaces, show family & friends (you could even bring your wedding planner if you had one) and sit in on an extensive Q&A. Our wedding was in May 2024 on a beautifully sunny weekend - we held our wedding in the ceremony barn followed by confetti, drinks, canapés, games and photos on the lawn. Our wedding breakfast and evening party was in the reception barn with guests free to relax in the gardens whilst we snuck off to the tarn for some epic couple’s photos. The farmhouse was the perfect base to relax in the run-up and post event; we booked an extra night so we had more time to spend with family. The rooms are clean and tidy, the kitchen well equipped (the extra fridge was welcome as it safely stored our wedding cake) and the bridal suite is pure luxury! Owner and wedding coordinator extraordinaire Clare is amazing! She really put us at ease, was friendly, down-to-Earth, attentive and worked tirelessly behind the scenes with her team and our chosen suppliers to ensure our day ran smoothly. We always knew we wanted a barn, or somewhere similarly rustic for our wedding and Barn in the Fell ticked all the boxes. It's just outside Ambleside which meant all our guests had no problems finding accommodation as well as being a stunning location. The Barn itself is a great size, and the ceremony room downstairs is spacious, and has plenty of options on how you want to dress the room. Sharon and Hogg who own the property were brilliant, they have adapted the barn, building everything you could need in a wedding location and are also open and flexible to ideas on how you might want the place to look for your day. They work with a variety of suppliers and have been incredibly helpful throughout - from letting us sneak in for another look when we visited the location for a second time to helping with suggestions on what other weddings have done and thoroughly taking care of us on the day. We would 100% recommend - this is a beautiful and relaxed place to get married and we loved every minute.

We have just renewed our vows at the Knott Estate and can honestly say we had a fantastic experience. Amy was thoughtful, kind and professional , she thought of everything and helped make the day go smoothly. Highly recommended this venue, for a peaceful, special & beautiful experience xx ❤️

Katherine and the team really couldn't do enough for us, they went above and beyond for us, not just on the day of the wedding but also leading up to it. If we had any questions, Katherine was very quick to help. Katherine is just an absolute credit to her self and to skitby, she really can't do enough for you, she just loves what she does and enjoys helping couples have the most perfect unforgettable day. She made the place look fantastic with our decorations ( not that skitby needs it, as it just such a beautiful venue). And did I mention the food, it is out of this world. We had the most perfect special day and night and can't thank the team enough, especially Katherine, the serive is just outstanding

Holesfoot is a hidden gem in the Eden Valley that gave us our dream Italian style wedding! Liv and James were the best venue suppliers we could have wished for, completely letting us put our own spin on our day which was so important to us. Their staff were also incredible and never left a flute empty which led to very happy guest! One of the luxuries of Holesfoot is the ability for the wedding party to stay on site in the beautiful Holesfoot House so you can really drag out the wedding celebrations in style. The attention to detail in the house and barn is amazing and you can really see how much time and effort Liv and James have put in to create this beautiful venue. We had our ceremony in the beautiful Italian gardens and it was a little slice of heaven. You have so many lovely options of where to get married around Holesfoot and Liv and James are completely committed to helping you create your dream wedding day. It’s perfect for fun loving couples who want the romantic yet fun vibes to their day. Words can’t describe how grateful we are to have found Holesfoot and we have memories to treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you!

The very best wedding venue we could have hoped for. We were desperate for a wedding venue after last year's cancellation, so checked out the brochure on 4th June last year, had a video tour in the evening, visited on the 6th, booked it and deposit paid on the 9th, we were that impressed by what we saw (admittedly a building site). Risk paid off. The venue were on the ball enough so that the legal ceremony could be outside on the shores of Windermere, so we had an unforgettable occasion - the sounds of the waves breaking, birds in the trees, made for a really natural, wild ceremony. The barn has been done spectacularly, suitable for 60-90 I'd think, with a smart terrace outside with decking overlooking the lawn. There was accommodation for 9 couples, in 3 separate areas, and the best man said it would have been great if it was half as good. It's the little things - there were 25 plug sockets in one room, so it's not like those annoying hotel rooms where you have to put your phone on charge 3 metres away. The communal nature of the cottages makes it great for getting together to chill the night before and getting ready in the morning (some people can't be trusted to dress themselves). It's these little things that made it such a great venue. We chilled out the evening before with a BBQ on the beach, trying out standing up paddle boarding, which due to the size of the venue was away from the thoughts of the wedding the next day. Cheryl and Ness went above and beyond what was required from them, they coped with my mad schemes and there were no hidden costs that popped up (nonsense you get in other venues like having to pay for a dance floor etc). With the effort that has gone into it and the potential in the estate, I think it will get better in the next few years, as the garden area matures. Cheryl was very responsive with questions, and accommodating of any issues we had. I knew of at least a dozen guests who personally mentioned what a great venue it is. No matter what theme you're looking for, you'll not go far wrong with Town Head. The very best wedding venue we could have hoped for. We got married at Hidden River in July of this year and it turns out the cliche is true - best day ever! What was so great was that it felt like a whole weekend celebration because we had our people staying in all of the cabins and house - happiness everywhere we went. The food was brilliant - Tom really listened to what we wanted and Gillian went out of her way to make sure everything ran smoothly - we really can't thank them enough.

I have just come back home from the best two days ever. I attended my son and now daughter in laws wedding between 7-9th August 2018. Everyone has had the most amazing time. Perfect setting, perfect rooms, perfect in every way. Thank you Hazel and all your staff xxx
