Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in Derbyshire

My husband and I had our wedding here at the end of April 2022. The day was absolutely perfect, Stretton Manor Barn is beautiful and in a lovely location with lots of outdoor space and beautiful settings for photos. The entire team couldn't have been more helpful, right from booking the venue to the wedding day itself. We had an outdoor ceremony which was beautiful, the team were very helpful and made sure everything went to plan and the food was amazing. We had a live band for the evening which was great and the evening food was also lovely. We can't thank you all enough! Sophie and Andy

We booked this house and barn for a large family birthday celebration (n=22) In Feb. Mark & Marie were extremely helpful and efficient throughout. They were also flexible about our arrangements. The house is incredibly well-equipped and we had several large family meals prepared in the good sized kitchen and dining area. The lounge is large and easily accommodated the entire group. The whole property was warm with CH and we kept the stove fuelled in the evenings in the lounge - very cosy. Throughout the house the bedrooms and bathrooms are stylish, comfortable and very clean. The barn was a real bonus and everyone enjoyed making pizzas in the oven and playing games. This was a really perfect location and every single guest said they thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and want to return again and again. There is so much to do nearby including visits and walks to Eyam, Bakewell and many more. If the weather is bad there is plenty of room to relax, play games and socialise. For larger parties the barn is fantastic and could be decorated to create a very special and personalised venue for any event. I can not recommend this venue more strongly.

Emma & Rebecca were amazing throughout the booking process but were something else on the day!! Anything we needed they were there, from fetching us drinks, to gathering family, to fixing props! They made us feel very relaxed and allowed us to enjoy our day without any stress, anything we were worried about they sorted it out/calmed us down right away. Our wedding day would not have been what it was without these pair - they genuinely go through every emotion with you too! PS the venue is also incredibly beautiful and the bareness of the riding school allows you to create the day of your dreams to suit you as a couple. Highly recommend.

We got married here on 29th July 2017.....after booking it 2 years in advance to make sure we got our date and everything was perfect, we were not disappointed. Emma and Kayleigh were excellent at communicating with me throughout the whole process and it ran so smooth on the day. Everyone acknowledged how beautiful the venue was, the rooms and the food. I know they had a lot of weddings that week but they were so organised.... I want to do it all over again! 5* all the way, the wedding I always dreamed of!!!
