Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in Norfolk

If you want an amazing intimate place for a wedding in Norfolk, Barn Drift is just the place. The location, building itself and the addition of the hanger made the perfect backdrop for our day. The main party of guests stayed for four days at the beautifully fitted out and well equipped house. For the wedding day itself we had 40 guests. We had our pre drinks and ceremony in the hangar which large doors open out onto the amazing Norfolk coastline, followed by nibbles in the house and lunch in the large dining room which doors open right out onto the garden. The grounds lend itself to plenty of space for the additional marque's or games on the green. We had the most amazing day and thank you Alice for the perfect venue.

The Octagon Barn is a beautiful canvas to be able to decorate as you'd like to create your own perfect day. Ella and Estelle are a wonderful team and provided us with support and assistance were needed, being more than happy to get stuck in! Our day was perfect and all guests enjoyed the venue, both inside and out. Thank you!

I had the most wonderful wedding day here.. All the staff at HH are so genuine and lovely, Matthew and Jenny who ensure your day is as perfect as it can be, Lou who helps with all your pre wedding panic and is always at the end of the phone for anything, Shirley who genuinely needs a pair of wings, she is a fairy godmother and makes everything and everyone sparkle! Keith who ensured every nut product was removed from the kitchen and even made us little nut free biscuits for our room. If we could do it all over again we would and we’d chose this venue repeatedly. We will continue to find reasons to come back.

I cannot thank Paul enough for helping us have the most beautiful wedding day possible. The day was perfect, the venue is stunning especially with the scenic views. The food was 5* , the whole service was so smooth and quick. Paul has been such a great help in the last two years when planning our big day and is very approachable. Thank you so much again for making this day such a memorable one for us 🩷

This venue is beautiful. Really helpful planners and staff. As a wedding photographer I recommend this venue to couples I speak to. The farmhouse is a stunning space to get ready in and to stay in the night of your wedding too. The planners really go above and beyond to make couples wedding day run smoothly.

Such an incredible day and venue. The entire experience with Godwick was positive, calm and thought-through. The staff are fabulous - especially James the owner, as well as Debbie-Lee one of the Event Managers. Always on hand to help, nothing is too much trouble. It felt personal to us the whole weekend, whilst showcasing the fact that they are experts at what they do - creating great weddings and making people very very happy! Thanks Godwick team :-)

Curds Hall Barn was the most perfect venue for our wedding, everything from the team, the barns, the accommodation and overall experience for our guests was amazing. We could not have wished for a better day. We are so grateful to the team, particularly Annabelle who leading up to and on our wedding day truly went above and beyond to ensure the day flowed perfectly so we were able to relax fully. There's no way we could have done it without them and coordinating a surprise firework display was no mean feat! As a DIY venue its fantastic to allow you to put your individual touches without hidden costs and nothing was too much trouble for the team. They even accommodated our quirky request to have some of our sheep join in on our big day! We also made use of the Old Coach House to get ready and for the family to stay in for the weekend. It is beautiful and we would recommend this for other wedding parties. Curds Hall Barn is truly an amazing venue in Norfolk, we can't wait to see how it develops in the future and we are so lucky we got to have our special day here.

We had our wedding at the Wedding Barn in Little Massingham in September 2021 - our 3rd attempt at a date due to covid! Sally could not have been more flexible and helpful as we were re-arranging dates and planning our special day. The venue itself is really special and has a really lovely feel to it, not to mention the fabulous views. We loved how flexible everything was, we were able to set things up exactly as we wanted and the team moved any furniture we didn’t want to use. They even dropped off some straw bales for us to use as seats for our guests. Our guests found loads of accommodation options in Great Massingham nearby. We really recommend this venue if you are looking for somewhere with character and charm that you can put your own stamp on.

We were fortunate enough to hold our wedding reception at Happy Valley, an idyllic and peaceful spot hidden in West Norfolk's beautiful countryside. The venue has it all: a lake with a bridge to a little island in the middle (you can also get married on this island), magical woodland accommodation and facilities (including hot tubs), huge party barns and all surrounded by nothing but peaceful woodland and glorious Norfolk sunsets. It really is the perfect, private wedding venue and you will be spoilt for choice with photograph opportunities. We had our drinks reception and canapés on the edge of the pretty lake, using the lean-to of the Dutch barn as our outside bar area, and had a band playing outdoors near the willow trees to accompany. We then moved inside to the incredible Dutch barn which has stunning views across the lake, to eat and party the night away - it was just amazing. There's a built-in bar area already in the Dutch barn which is a lovely touch, a stage was set-up for the band to play on in the evening and our caterers set-up camp in the Hay barn. We were very lucky with the weather, but both barns at Happy Valley offer great (and dry!) spaces to be in whatever the weather. Katy and Scott, the owners, really are the most fantastic hosts, and we couldn't thank them enough for everything they did to help ensure we had the perfect day. None of us wanted to leave at the end of the weekend, and it will forever remain the most special place for us. We can't recommend Happy Valley highly enough, and have spent most days since wishing we could do it all over again. The venue really is a gift that keeps on giving.

To everyone at Hockwold Hall, We would like to say the biggest thank you possible for everything you did to help us have the most amazing wedding day we could've imagined! We fell in love with Hockwold Hall from the first moment that we arrived there and instantly knew we wanted to have our special day there. From that moment on you did all that you could to ensure this would happen, going beyond any expectations to ensure our day was beautiful, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. The fact that we could get ready there in the morning, and then end a fantastic day in the gorgeous rooms upstairs just added to the experience! Our guests were wowed by the venue; not one bad word to be said!
