Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in Oxfordshire

What an amazing venue! From our first visit to Cogges Manor Farm to our communication with Janette, to our actual wedding day everything was just perfect!! Cogges offered two fantastic rustic barns which we were able to add our own personalities too. This on top of the beautiful lawn and gardens which offer the ideal place for a drinks reception, especially when the Wisteria has a second blooming. Our family and friends all commented on the relaxed, welcoming setting which Cogges has and how it offered something for everyone. The goats also proved a huge hit with the guests and had everyone smiling, though you may want to double check none have gone missing!! Finally a big shout out to all the staff and volunteers at Cogges and in particular Janette who was an amazing sounding board who listened to all of our ideas, always responded quickly and her relaxed demeanour definitely saved us a lot of stress.

We had an absolutely perfect wedding at Merriscourt, with everything made so easy for us by the incredible team. Nothing was too much trouble and we loved having the venue to ourselves for the whole weekend. It meant we could settle in the day before, set everything up and have a run through of the ceremony which meant that the big day felt so calm and went so smoothly. The whole Merriscourt team were amazing at listening to what we wanted and making it happen - nothing was too much trouble and they brought our vision to life. Special thanks to Eva, Artur and Emily who welcomed us so warmly and made us feel at home so we could have our perfect wedding. We had an April wedding so had planned for all weather eventualities but in the end we had glorious sunshine which meant we could hold our drinks reception outside. Everyone commented on how incredible the food was, it was so delicious and perfectly presented. We would recommend Merriscourt to anyone, we wish we could do it all over again!

Throughout the whole build up, the whole team were there to answer all my crazy questions, and bent over backwards to make my creative visions a reality...even spending nearly 4 hours up some scary looking scaffolding to hang my feather chandelier creations! My husbands favourite Cornish beer was supplied, the food was perfect and everybody has since said it was one of the most fun weddings they have been to. The staff at Dovecote made every effort to make our guests feel totally welcome and comfortable even though we maxed out the capacity and it was raining...I wouldn't change a thing! We had the most amazing wedding day and this was replicated in the feedback from our friends and family. All our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have been to. The staff were great, nothing was a problem. Nigel and Katie and all the staff were so helpful. The food was great and again had so many compliments from guests. We had a wonderful wedding at Lains Barn.

Had my wedding here a month ago and it was amazing! The staff are incredible right from the initial pre wedding planning to their attention to detail and attentiveness on the day. Karin was incredible, always made us feel relaxed and always answered our numerous questions with a smile. We were so lucky to have found Stratton court and would thoroughly recommend the venue to anyone!

We had our wedding here Aug 09 and it was amazing.Through all the 18mths planning the team were amazing and on the day so friendly and incredibly organised. Many of our guests said this was the best wedding they have ever attended. The venue is gorgeous and the gardens were beautiful.We had the guests seated in the garden for the ceremony as the weather was perfect.We cannot thank the venue and team enough for making our day so perfect.

When my sister got married the great barn helped with everything from originising the registra to helping get the band, took a huge weight of our shoulders and a great day was had by all of the family.

I had my 50th Birthday party at Luxters,it was recommended by a friend who had recently got married there. I found the whole process of booking my party and talking through the whole evening a great experience. They are so friendly, understanding and knowledgeable. On the day,they were so calming. The food and service were out of this world!
