Well worth having the wedding at chalk barn the venue is fantastic the view of Salisbury plain for photos couldn't be better. The staff were fantastic they kept the day moving so everything fell into place. Well worth thinking about again

We were so incredibly lucky to spend our wedding day at The Great Barn this last November, 2024. Emma, John and the rest of the team were so professional and their efforts to give us the most special time was unmatched. We stayed on site for the whole weekend and felt like we had the royal treatment. The chef on site produced the most delicious food and as a chef myself I was honestly thrilled with the quality, portions, plating and flavour - so delicious. The wine selection from their supplier was extensive and fantastic - we had a truly indulgent and fabulous time. If you want to have an unforgettable, special, effortless, amazing and luxurious wedding - then book yours at The Great Barn. You won’t want to leave!

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue than Polmanter for our wedding reception! Set in the stunning Cornish countryside with gorgeous views of St Ives, it provided the most beautiful and relaxed setting for celebrating with our family and friends. From the very start, the team at Polmanter were incredible—friendly, professional, and always happy to help. They made the planning process so easy, ensuring that every detail was just as we envisioned. The reception space was immaculate and beautifully set up, creating the perfect atmosphere for our celebrations. Our guests were blown away by the lovely hall area, the welcoming feel of the venue, and how smoothly everything ran. The combination of gorgeous outdoor spaces and a stylish, comfortable reception area made for an unforgettable experience. Having the softplay there was amazing for the kids, what a great way to keep them entertained while all the adults partied! We are so grateful to the Polmanter team for helping us create the most amazing wedding reception—we truly couldn’t have asked for more! We couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful setting for our wedding. We felt like we were in a bubble a million miles away from reality. Upon arrival on the Friday, we were welcomed with smiles and warmth by Louise and Andy. The two accommodation barns were absolutely immaculate – not one of our 18 guests could fault the rooms. The kitchens are well stocked with appliances and everything you need for your stay. The large dining table made it such a social space, which we got to enjoy with our friends and family. We chose to have an intimate wedding of only 20 guests to the day, and Rumleigh Farm is the perfect setting for a romantic and peaceful ceremony. The picturesque views of rolling country side, farm animals and a beautiful river made for an incredible backdrop for our photos. The barn transformed from a beautiful setting to dine in, into the perfect festival venue for our evening where we had 50 more guests arrive. We had live music from an amazing Elvis impersonator (JD King) as well as the brilliant The Horizons… we danced and sang until the early hours. Our guests could camp very comfortably in the field which is only a short walk away from the main venue, and allowed them to wake up to the most scenic views. On the Sunday we enjoyed a bbq on site with our 20 guests. It was such a delight not to have to rush off and gave us all the time to reminisce over the wedding day. Louise and Andy went above and beyond to ensure that the day was exactly what we had dreamed of. The littlest details were considered and executed perfectly. It really is the most hidden, incredible venue and will make your special day the best it can be. We had the best few days celebrating and we are so, so glad we chose Rumleigh Farm. PS. Can we have a year anniversary party…every year for the next 70 years…?

We tied the knot at Jenners Barn in August 2024. We were particularly drawn to the venue as it's 'yours for the weekend' and we knew we wanted a wedding weekender not just a reception night. 70% of our guests stayed onsite in the filed in luxury bell tents (from 'Cotswold Bells') and in the lovely glamping camps next door at Great Farm. Some brought their own tents and camper vans. We used in-house caterers 'Feed me Cotswolds' who were absolutely amazing - great food. We had crunchy seasonal salads / slow roasted beef brisket / delicious vegetarian options / and Chris ran a great bar. The service was particularly good and many guests commented positively. Deborah and Leonie were really accommodating and very helpful for us to achieve the event we wanted. We had a live band and performance and were able to put lighting into the barn and lots of decorations. We even had a tree planting ceremony to give something back to the land and its lovely to think our trees will be growing there for years to come. On the Sunday we had buffet style full English breakfast available to our guests to purchase. We even played Rounders in dress up costumes on the Sunday. This venue is magical and we are so happy we chose to get married here.

We cannot thank you engough!!! From the moment of making our first enquiry with Tracey, being shown around and answering our questions, booking our wedding, and throughout our stay it’s been amazing from start to finish... The venue is amazing with stunning views across the rolling Devon hills, the fantastic on site accommodation and what can we say about the purpose built new barn, but wow, this needs to be seen to be beleived!!! We have had so many lovely comments from our family and guest who stayed and joined us for our wedding day, about Country Ways and the whole team. The country ways family and team go way above and beyond to help in every way possible, They seem to maigically make the whole process and day so stress free, How they do it, we are unsure, they make it look so effortless. As a previous reveiwer said, Tracey was like a little fairy god mother, and we could not agree more.... she is amazing and should be so proud of what she and the family have created.. There was not one thing we would change and if we could do it all again, we would ! Thank you so much for making our day so special!! Helen & Jon x

The white barn was magical! Ash (wedding planner) and his team made our day run smoothly, we didn't have to lift a finger or worry about anything. All we had to do was enjoy and create memories! We used the white barn for catering, the food was absolutely lovely, we had so much they boxed it up for us/guest to take home! The venue itself is incredible! The barn is opened planned and so big. We used the upstairs area for the children, so they could chill, play board games. The grounds of the white barn- we got married in the meadow, big open area surrounded by fields, they also have the lake (across the road) we had pictures taken there. It's such a lovely venue. We will be visiting as much as we can to there cafe and grounds.

Wow! Where do I start?! We had the most amazing wedding reception at Old Oak Farm in October 2023. Rebecca, Andy and their team are just the loveliest people. They are friendly, professional, efficient, organised and creative. Communication is absolutely fantastic - I really felt that Rebecca and I were on the same page during the wedding planning process. Rebecca is full of great ideas and suggestions, and her amazing experience in and knowledge of the wedding industry is expansive and so helpful when planning your big day. We actually booked Old Oak Farm as our reception venue before the barn had even been constructed! But we weren't at all nervous about this - we had full confidence in Rebecca and Andy's vision, and oh, what a vision it has become! The lovely, big glass paneled doors let in so much gorgeous natural Somerset light, and offer expansive views across the breathtaking countryside. The barm has lovely, high ceilings which make it feel light and airy, but not echo-y and the building retains a cosy feel at all times of the day. The massive, gorgeous fireplace is a focal point and the perfect canvas for your own decor and creativity to run wild. The dancefloor (which doubles up as the indoor ceremony area) is a great size - it never looked empty during our reception, but at the same time you weren't crammed in. The barn is decorated beautifully in a rustic style. We added a few of our own touches decor wise, but honestly you could host an event in this barn just the way it is and it would look stunning. The bar is another stunning feature of the venue, and is very well stocked! Rebecca even ordered in some pumpkin spiced rum specially to suit the autumnal pumpkin theme of our wedding. Outside, the grounds are beautifully manicured, clean and tidy without being overdone. Plenty of parking for your guests, and a handful of quirky Shepherd's Huts as well which can be rented for the night by guests. I believe that during the summer the venue also allows guests to camp, but I am a little hazy on that detail so it would be worth double checking. There are loads of beautiful spots (both inside and out) that make for gorgeous photographs (and our amazing photographers, James and Kerrie of James and Kerrie Photography took full advantage of these!), including an amazing secret garden that is lit up at night! The front of house staff on the day were all amazing - all turned out very smartly, smiles on their faces and only too happy to help. The food was absolutely top-notch - fresh, local, seasonal and cooked beautifully. We had a few special dietary requirements amongst our guests and these were met and catered for with zero issues. Rebecca and Andy were very flexible about us bringing in a couple of external suppliers, such as ParTee Time Mini Golf, and a DJ, Ben Prescott, to provide entertainment for our guests, and a coach at the end of the night to transport guests back to nearby North Curry and Taunton. I could honestly go on for pages and pages about why this stunning venue is so special and incredible! But I'm just going to round it off by saying that my husband and I and our families were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the service received from the very first enquiry via email, all the way though to the morning after the wedding. You will not regret hosting your wedding here. If you are looking for a rustic, countryside feel to your big day, then please reach out to Rebecca - you will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing time at Hawke Barn venue for our wedding. The rustic setting was perfect, and everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly and made sure all the details were handled. It was exactly the laid-back, cozy atmosphere we were looking for. Highly recommend for a relaxed and beautiful wedding day!

The Stennack Farm team made the 2 years of wedding planning so worth it and we had the most incredible day of our lives. Our wedding was a fusion of Cornish and Welsh guests with 65% of the guest list visiting from the Welsh valleys. So many were excited to see “true Cornwall” and Stennack Farm helped us to provide this to our guests. The venue is light; airy & so spacious for any couples wedding plans to run wild & that’s exactly what we were able to do with Tompkins fest. The accommodation on site was perfect for our Welsh contingency include elderly grandparents and newborns who could enjoy the day and still have an afternoon nap. The back lawn was used for our ceremony and allowed guests and kids to laze out in the evening on the hay bales. The court yard was the ultimate mingling area where we hosted beer pong tournament, rattlers in the sun & able to open the venue doors to hear the music from the dj. The big lawn was ideal for our humungous photo list and the kids enjoyed the playground with the swing set making some great candid pictures. These elements and spaces allowed the guests to not feel to far away from the main building but also allow groups to have their own areas and our guests to have different viewpoints across the day. The venue feels so secluded and private making any big wedding feel intimate. The staff were on hand all day to help the guests and bride and groom with whatever we needed and helping us with suggestions or managing any problems and time delays! Would recommend again and again, mainly to be a guest at our own venue would be quite the fun experience!
