Blackbrook Barns has maintained all the magical tradition of its antique shop predecessor whilst mixing in a dazzle of contemporary styling. We are so glad we’ve booked with Lisa and her team. Can’t wait for the wedding!

This is an amazing venue for many different occasions. We had our wedding reception here and would not hesitate to book the venue for other events if required. The staff and owners were great and went over and above to make sure everything was perfect for us. The venue also has the option of 2 beautiful cottages if people want to stay over.

From the moment we drove up the driveway of The Oaks, we knew it was where we were meant to get married! Throughout the whole process, Julie and Rianna have been amazing, answering my (many) questions quickly, recommending suppliers, and being able to see a glimpse of events hosted there through their Instagram really helped with bringing the vision for our wedding to life! Not to mention the barn and the grounds are STUNNING! The attention to detail through the whole venue makes it the perfect place for an intimate celebration, and with it being a family business, you really feel the love that has gone into creating the space. Thank you so much to everyone at The Oaks for providing the setting and helping us to create our perfect wedding day!

Emily was absolutely amazing she kept everything on track throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and ahe was very responsive I the lead up to the day. Thank you Emily!

We adored our time at Blithfield in May for our long awaited wedding. Alex and Lydia were so kind, patient and supportive from the moment we booked with them. They were contactable and relaxed with our sometimes whacky requests! We stayed in the cottages with family and friends from Friday to Monday. Our dog was also allowed to stay and be in the venue to be part of our day. The views there are spectacular and we had a glorious sunset. We have very fond memories and beautiful pictures of our day. Thanks to Alex and Lydia again :)

We had our wedding here 21/7/18 and we couldn’t have wished for a better day. Darren and Helen couldn’t do enough for us and were always really quick getting back to us with any questions we had. I use to ride here when I was little so it was lovely to spend the day where I have so many fun memories. If your considering this venue just book it, you will have a brilliant day.

My sister and sister in law were lucky enough to have the first wedding at this wonderful venue. It was an amazing wedding for many reasons, one of which was due to the great venue and the team Adrian, Kirsty and their family - all being incredibly helpful, supportive and skilled at wedding event support. The venue still has a bit of work left to be undertaken and once these last bits are completed it will be absolutely perfect for other couples wanting to tie the knot! Absolutely wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We initially chose to have our wedding at The Waterfront after looking at numerous wedding venues due to its unique characteristics. We enquired about the package that would be available to us and we were amazed by the outstanding value for money. We were fully satisfied with the service prior to the wedding day. We were taken care of by our wedding co-ordinator, Sarah, who was a newly appointed member of the team. We were extremely impressed with her organisational skills and wealth of knowledge that was gained during her years working within the wedding industry. We felt confident that our wedding was in good hands and we were looking forward to the day itself which came around extremely fast! Sarah was on hand to support us when setting up the room the day before to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our wedding day was perfect from beginning to end! We were greeted by Sarah during the ceremony who did a fantastic job guiding members of the wedding party. Following the ceremony, the drinks reception was served promptly on the outside terrace, which allowed the guests to take in the stunning surroundings. All of the courses during our wedding breakfast were served promptly. The waiters were very effective as they worked together as a team. All of the food was absolutely delicious. Through to the evening, the wonderful service continued when the buffet was served. The guests all commented on how impressed they were with the day as a whole. With all the emphasis of this review mainly based on the food and our wedding co-ordinator, I would now like to comment on the venue alone. The setting allowed our photographer to get many different shots of which we will treasure forever, taking advantage of the marina itself, the two lakes, the promenade and the national forest. I would recommend this venue to everyone! The new Mr and Mrs Banks would like to thank The Waterfront for ensuring that our day was flawless!

I have booked this venue for my wedding in 2015 and it was the only venue we looked at, just knew it was the one as soon as we drive down the drive. The people there are so friendly and have always welcomed us whenever we have visited. Would definitely recommend this venue
