Charlotte and the Clayfield Farm team were absolutely amazing to work with! We had a great day shooting at the venue – it’s stunning. Charlotte was so helpful and made everything super easy for us. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We’d definitely recommend Clayfield Farm to other couples and would love to work with Charlotte again. Thanks again for everything!

We cannot thank Sophie and her family/team enough for helping us have one of the very best days of our lives. When looking at wedding venues, we took this very seriously and saw 15(!) venues in/around York in three days. Barmbyfield stood out to us right away for how naturally beautiful the venue was and how incredibly welcoming Sophie was. She made us feel very comfortable when we were looking around and she was so openminded to all of our ideas - she made us feel important and that we were her focus. Throughout the process Sophie was responsive to all of our (many) emails and made sure we fully understood everything that was going to happen. We felt secure that she was switched on to everything we wanted and knew how to help give us our special day. The whole Barmbyfield team really cared about us and made sure our guests had a wonderful time - even shedding a quick tear during the ceremony! The venue itself is absolutely stunning for a wedding and the time you have for setup we found essential. Having two days before your wedding to make sure everything is just right is not something you realise how important it is until you need it! We were able to go to drinks with family and friends on the Friday night knowing everything was already exactly how we wanted it. Anything else that needed setting up on the day, Sophie was on hand to help and made things so straightforward. She took care of the music for the ceremony and guided us through the whole day. It was excellent to have so many distinct spaces throughout the day: the ceremony room which was beautiful and transformed into an evening room, the main barn which was so pretty and well set up for all our guests, the outside barn to cool down and have relaxed conversations, the bar which our guests particularly enjoyed and a chill out space upstairs. This venue has everything you need to design a day that suits you in exactly the ways you want it. We would also recommend to anyone to book to stay in the house attached to the venue, which is lovely. While it was fantastic that my wife got to have some time with her bridesmaids the night before, it was invaluable for running round the venue on the Sunday morning gathering up our keepsakes.

We chose Hornington Manor for our wedding at the end of April this year, and honestly could not have been happier. We literally had the best day ever, and everything went so well! The venue is gorgeous, the grounds fantastic, so many compliments about the manor house and the bedrooms etc. And of course, all the staff are super friendly and attentive. We'd absolutely recommend it to anyone for their wedding or special event!

What an incredibly special venue. During our search we knew we wanted a barn in the north east. But as soon as we saw Lodge Farm we knew our search was over! Jen has been a delight to deal with in the run up and on our day. So helpful in answering all our questions and helping pass relevant info over to our suppliers. We are so happy we had our wedding here and 100% recommend other couples to book. Wish we could do it all over again! Ps make sure you check out the men’s toilets! 🤣 Thank you so much

I have been to many weddings over the years, but this one stands out for many reasons. It was an incredibly special wedding - one of my best friends was marrying her awesome man - and the location truly couldn’t have been better. The converted barn is full to the brim with character. Spacious, yet snug, this family-run business is the answer to your ‘now where on earth shall we get married?!’ worries! It’s perfectly designed to accommodate lots of merry guests, with plenty of space to dance, dine, or drink in the ambience from the balcony. The surrounding landscape is Yorkshire at its best. Take a visit and you’ll see exactly what I mean! Woolas Barn, ‘I do!’

Woodstock is the most beautiful perfect venue for a wedding. We visited when the barn was being built and we were so impressed by the venue, location and also by Janice who is the owner of the venue. Janice gave us a tour of the venue and explained her vision for the venue and her passion was so clear. We visited the venue again one week later because we were obsessed with it and although it was still under construction, you could easily see the entire venue and the end result. The grounds are beautiful, set in the Yorkshire countryside but only a 10 minute drive from York which makes this the perfect venue for location. The attention to detail and Janice’s passion were some of the key factors to why we fell in love with the venue, every last detail has been perfectly planned from the main barn, to the courtyard space, and even the horse stables which will be converted for an alternative space for your guests to relax and get a drink. We would highly recommend couples to go visit Woodstock if you’re looking for a rustic venue with modern twist!! Also, Janice is just the best and would be there to guide you all the way up to your wedding day!! 10/10!!

What a beautiful setting for my daughters wedding on 9th june 2018. Such a lovely day and the staff were all really welcoming and so helpful. I would recommend villa farm to anybody ?

The freedom of a wedding at the Barn at Deighton Lodge was unbelievably refreshing and exciting. Free to choose between caterers, decoration and how to run a bar, our wedding began to take a shape that was very much ‘us’. Drew and Carla were unbelievably accommodating of all our requests; nothing was too much trouble
