We have just got home from our weekend wedding at High Brockholme and I just don’t know where to start. Rachel, Alan, Heather, Jaz and Tony - what a family. THE funniest, most organised and yet relaxed family I have ever met. You made our weekend. The venue is honestly breath taking - every single detail is just flawless. The grounds are stunning and the onsite accommodation is as good as any hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank you to the whole team, the memories of our wedding with you will last a life time x

Honestly so so pleased we chose to get married at Bert’s. Charlotte & Jason were there from our very first contact for any questions we had. They helped reassure us that we could make our day with them as personal to us as possible and we did just that. The barns are set up so well & I honestly think they speak for themselves. We went with a lot of the trusted suppliers and were so incredibly pleased with them all. We opted for the tractor travel to the photo spots in the wild flowers and this was such a fun part of the day. There were also sunflowers at our wedding in mid-August and we got some incredible photos there too, especially evening shots. They have the space available to hire pretty much anything you want, so we hired a rodeo bull as a surprise for the guests! We can’t thank Charlotte & Jason enough for their amazing space and all their support ❤️

The venue couldn’t have been better! We loved that guests could stay in the onsite accommodation the night before and the night of the wedding and all of the accommodation was gorgeous! My husband and I stayed in the Boat House as the bridal suite and it was so special!!!!!! We loved that we could host a welcome BBQ on site the night before the wedding too! The wedding venue itself is gorgeous and Georgia, the event coordinator couldn’t be better! She was incredible at what she does and she ensured everything went super smoothly with no hassle at all and she was just super chilled. The getting ready suite was extra special too! Thank you so much!!

Charlotte and the Clayfield Farm team were absolutely amazing to work with! We had a great day shooting at the venue – it’s stunning. Charlotte was so helpful and made everything super easy for us. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We’d definitely recommend Clayfield Farm to other couples and would love to work with Charlotte again. Thanks again for everything!

Little seed field was the most perfect venue for our wedding. There were cabins on site to accommodate guests and were just stunning. Jo and Lizzie were incredible coordinators and went above and beyond for us which we are eternally grateful for. We had so many amazing comments about the venue and its beautiful views. I cannot recommend Little Seed Field enough.

We had an amazing wedding reception at Whirlow Hall Farm. Meg and her team worked tirelessly to ensure everything went smoothly on the day and dealing with her beforehand was a pleasure. The food was excellent (and plenty) and it was great that so much of it was locally produced. The decorations (by wildweddingdays) was even better than we had imagined. If you are looking for an informal, relaxed and personal wedding reception venue, we highly recommend Whirlow Hall Farm

We cannot thank Sophie and her family/team enough for helping us have one of the very best days of our lives. When looking at wedding venues, we took this very seriously and saw 15(!) venues in/around York in three days. Barmbyfield stood out to us right away for how naturally beautiful the venue was and how incredibly welcoming Sophie was. She made us feel very comfortable when we were looking around and she was so openminded to all of our ideas - she made us feel important and that we were her focus. Throughout the process Sophie was responsive to all of our (many) emails and made sure we fully understood everything that was going to happen. We felt secure that she was switched on to everything we wanted and knew how to help give us our special day. The whole Barmbyfield team really cared about us and made sure our guests had a wonderful time - even shedding a quick tear during the ceremony! The venue itself is absolutely stunning for a wedding and the time you have for setup we found essential. Having two days before your wedding to make sure everything is just right is not something you realise how important it is until you need it! We were able to go to drinks with family and friends on the Friday night knowing everything was already exactly how we wanted it. Anything else that needed setting up on the day, Sophie was on hand to help and made things so straightforward. She took care of the music for the ceremony and guided us through the whole day. It was excellent to have so many distinct spaces throughout the day: the ceremony room which was beautiful and transformed into an evening room, the main barn which was so pretty and well set up for all our guests, the outside barn to cool down and have relaxed conversations, the bar which our guests particularly enjoyed and a chill out space upstairs. This venue has everything you need to design a day that suits you in exactly the ways you want it. We would also recommend to anyone to book to stay in the house attached to the venue, which is lovely. While it was fantastic that my wife got to have some time with her bridesmaids the night before, it was invaluable for running round the venue on the Sunday morning gathering up our keepsakes.

From our initial inquiry through to the day we collected all our decorations after our Wedding, Diane and the whole team at The Old Barn we're fantastic. We had a clear idea of what we wanted to be, but we're complete novices to Wedding planning. They have an incredible range of food and drink packages to choose from and are pretty laid back about any vendors etc that you want to hire. Our day ran perfectly smoothly (despite the constant torrential rain) and all of our guests very very complimentary about the whole celebration. The decor of The Old Barn is stunning and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Throughout our planning, Diane gave us lots of tips and tricks to ensure the smooth running of the day and what works/doesn't work usually. Also, Alex their in house DJ deserves a special mention. We contacted him the week before our wedding with a list of music that we wanted for our reception. He went above and beyond in delivering exactly what we'd asked for, including a surprise dance routine from the Groom! We have absolutely no regrets in booking The Old Barn for our special day and would highly recommend this venue to anybody :)

We truly cannot recommend the Hidden Oak enough - they are absolute experts at everything they do. We had the most spectacular day at the venue and from the first meeting our minds were at ease that both everything was in hand and that it was going to be so special! We had high expectations for our day and we set up the room ahead of the day which was an additional really special experience. Everyone who attended commented on the quality of the venue and their offering. If you want an amazing venue - this fits the bill.

I could not recommend the peacocks enough, they was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The venue is a stunning place alone and the staff are brilliant. The prices of drinks for our guests were important and they reflected that. Thank you so much for making our day so special, it means the world to us. Special thank you to Becky and Sandy.
