Located in Colwall in the Worcestershire region of England, Barton Court is a sumptuous and historic setting for any celebration but comes into its own as a wedding venue. This elegant period country house is nestled in its own grounds and surrounded by marvellous countryside. These premises have two ponds, a Pleasure Garden, and its very own bridge.
Private but not isolated it is tucked into the edge of a village with a direct train link to the cities of London, Birmingham and Bristol. This locale is only a short drive away from the motorway network, making it straighforward for you and your guests to get to.

The fantastic main house and the period outbuildings provide many different stylistic opportunities from the formal, through edgy, eclectic, and rustic, to a festival vibe. Almost any style is possible in this house and on the grounds.

The main reception rooms of the house are ideal for a sophisticated wedding. The dining room comfortably seats 30, and the drawing room can accommodate 70.

For a more relaxed event, The Fire Station complex is an excellent choice. Couples often choose to marry in The Saw Mill, and hold their reception in the adjacent Dutch Barn whole the Saw Mill is turned around for cocktails later. There is a large terrace and a lawn for guests to mingle on surrounding the buildings and our new stretch tent can be added into the mix to increase the numbers or provide welcome shlet from the weather. A marquee in the walled garden - with spectacular views towards the Malvern Hills - can hold larger parties.

There is plenty of accommodation available on site for guests: up to 26 guests in the main house with spaces for an additional eight people in the Annexe. There is a studio flat for 2 called the Hayloft and The Clock Tower – a wonderful bijou cottage – is ideal as a honeymoon suite.
