Facilities and Capacity
Bath's Historic Venues range in style and amenities to suit your different tastes and desires. For a unique and magical affair, the Roman Baths & Pump Room offers a one-of-a-kind setting surrounded by history. Not only is there nothing like this space in the world, but it also provides a fantastic opportunity to be married in the open air. You can exchange vows without fear of unpredictable British weather and enjoy an enchanting evening gathered on the two-thousand-year-old Roman paving. The atmosphere is created by the trickle of steam, flickering torchlight, and the overflowing Champagne, ensuring a magical evening for all. The venue was awarded Gold in the 2022/23 Wedding Venue of the Year category at the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards.
If you are looking for an outdoor venue, Heritage Parks offer ornate licenced buildings range from the Riverside Colonnades, overlooking Pulteney Bridge and the weir within Parade Gardens to a Roman-style Temple nestled into the winding paths of the Botanical Gardens. There’s even the Grade II listed Victorian Bandstand with a magnificent backdrop of the world-famous Royal Crescent.
Another lovely option for your celebrations is the opulent Guildhall. Conveniently located in the same building as the Register Office, this Georgian banqueting room is Grade I listed and boasts a beautiful design. Lastly, Victoria Art Gallery is an inspiring and unusual venue for civil ceremonies and drink receptions. The stunning upper gallery hosts spectacular paintings, sculptures, and a cast of the Parthenon Frieze, while the lower gallery houses contemporary exhibitions. This unique venue will ensure a lasting impression on everyone present for the romantic occasion.
