Libby, Urban and the team were fantastic! I would say I had to ask a lot of questions in the lead up to understand what was happening, which was quite stressful at times, but I need not have worried as everything went smoothly on the day! Toni and Lindsay were also very responsive and got back to us quickly, so that was all fine. The food was amazing and there was so much of it. We had quite a few non drinkers so that was a slight issue as there seemed to have been some miscommunication (with not everyone being able to have a toast when we asked for it to be swapped out). Everyone commented on how stunning the venue was. We really had a lovely day! It was also super dog friendly!

The perfect day. Our guests commented on what a gorgeous venue it was, how delicious the food was and how friendly and attentive the staff were - and they weren't wrong!

A special shout-out to Libby, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless. From managing the timeline to making sure all our vendors were in sync, Libby was always one step ahead. Even the smallest last-minute changes were handled seamlessly and with a smile. She made us feel relaxed and confident, knowing that everything was in the best hands.

The Wedding was perfect. It was well ran, everyone including ourselves was so looked after. And the Bawtry Hall & Crown team were fantastic. They alleviated any kind of stress - ran the day without any need from input from us - which is exactly what we wanted. They allowed us to enjoy our day as much as all of our lovely guests.

We got married in a small Intimate wedding of 30 in July. We had a fantastic day, the day we had hoped for. From the minute of looking around Bawtry Hall to booking and then having our wedding day the whole process was made very easy and enjoyable. Bawtry Hall is perfect for large or small weddings with gorgeous grounds for those dream photos.
Picking Bawtry Hall was the best decision we made and I would recommended this venue to anyone. The staff at Bawtry Hall were fantastic and the food was some of the best we’ve had. Go check it out if you’re looking for a venue!

We got married at the beautiful bawtry hall in August and from the second we saw the grounds we had already fallen in love with the place. Tori, Libby and all the staff make the wedding planning so simple (even for a stressed out bride like me) and we would recommend them to absolutely everyone. Bawtry Hall is a stunning venue and we are SO happy we chose it as a venue for our special day.

The hall itself is beautiful and we particularly liked the different spaces that we could use. The room we got married in was perfect. Picture high ceilings, huge windows and crisp, elegant decor. The bar area is spacious and perfect for a band/other entertainment. The main room we had our wedding breakfast in was just as beautiful with huge windows and a nice bay window feature (perfect for cake). A nice bonus was the lounge area where our guests could take a break from dancing on the comfy sofas.

The grounds of Bawtry Hall are stunning and our guests spent most of their time outside. It is picture-perfect. There is some garden furniture but it may benefit from some more. Wasn’t a huge issue for us, people just stood.

The food was excellent. We opted for the full three-course wedding breakfast and everyone commented on how delicious it was. We
were able to give our guests two options for each course and Tori and Lindsey made sure people with dietary requirements and allergies were cared for. We had a bbq for our evening meal that was also delicious. Unfortunately hardly any of it got eaten as everyone was still so full from the wedding breakfast!

We chose a summer package that included food, some drinks, decor, DJ etc which was perfect as we didn’t have to think about everything. Decor was great - we paid for a few extras but was all set up for us on the day. The package also included some rooms with the partner hotel.

Tori and Lindsey (events team for Bawtry) were fantastic throughout the process and replied to our queries promptly. We had a meeting six weeks prior to our wedding to talk through our details and they couldn’t do enough for us!

We had a Master of Ceremonies included in the package (John) and he was perfect. He made sure our guests were where they needed to be, organised the timings for the day and generally just hyped everyone up!

Our co-ordinator for the day was Libby and I cannot tell you how easy she made everything. She made sure every little detail was perfect and how we wanted it to be. She also made sure we had breaks, time together and stayed hydrated! Honestly, a lifesaver.

We fully recommend Bawtry Hall - completely worth every penny.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous we had lots of comments from our guests about how much they loved it. It's accessible for wheelchair users and accommodated all our guests comfortably.

The staff were very helpful with everything we needed on the wedding day. They made sure the whole process was stress free. They were very organised, everything was on time and we were kept up to date with every step. We were helped with adding personal touches to the decorations and packing the day after was done for us so we only had to collect our stuff which was much appreciated after a long night. Our wedding coordinator Libby was a God send, she made sure we enjoyed our day without worrying about anything. We also loved the master of ceremony John who was really lovely and really helped with directing guests on the schedule to make sure everything went on time. The rest of the staff were also really good, positive energy and amazing service. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with their service.

The food is probably one of the best we have had at a wedding. The menu gave us plenty of options for our guests to choose from. We had bbq as an evening food option and again the food was absolutely delicious. Overall the food was above our expectations and our guests loved it.

I could go on and on about the things we loved. We are thankful to everyone at Bawtry Hall for their amazing service and making our wedding day the most perfect day we could have wished for

We had a faultless experience with Bawtry Hall from the moment my friend and I visited for the showcase in late 2022. This is an imposing and impressive building with high ceilings, chandeliers, wood floors and crucially a neutral interior which meant that any colour scheme would work inside. Having the ceremony, dinner and dance floor rooms separately meant that there was no wait as rooms were 'turned around' and everyone in the dancefloor room was there to dance, with the other rooms used for more relaxed vibes as you could still hear the music but didn't need to shout to be heard as you have to when everything is in one room. Outside, the gardens are beautiful and vast for photographs. This venue is also dog friendly which meant that our dog could join us for the day and was able to be a ring bearer for our ceremony, which was also a non-negotiable for us. We arranged for fireworks in the evening and these were so special over the gardens.

We spoke with the events staff, Tori and Lindsey, extensively around our plans - with two additional viewings - before we booked the venue. Tori and Lindsey were available for every silly email with questions and queries over the following 18 months+ and we could not be more grateful for their time and patience.

For the day itself, we were passed over to the co-ordinator, Libby, and Master of Ceremonies, Urban. For me, as someone who likes to be 'in control' it was difficult to pass on our dreams to them to run for us but Libby and Urban did their homework of our plans and timings, talked with us about what we needed and delivered this faultlessly on the day. Even when we ran behind (I was late) and a supplier didn't arrive as planned, Urban shuffled some timings around to ensure we kept to the plans we had discussed with him and Libby chased down our missing supplier. We could not have asked for more from this dream team and we are delighted that our day went as smooth as it did - our guests were non the wiser.

Don't be put off by the fact that it doesn't operate as a hotel with rooms - this actually worked out so well for us as it meant that suppliers could have access earlier as there would be no members of the public that things needed to be kept open for. Our venue dresser was able to access on Wednesday, and we attended on Thursday and Friday dropping off supplies and checking in. Libby was on hand to take any last queries and tweaks on Thursday and Friday and these were implemented in advance of our wedding Saturday. It was a load off my mind on Friday night when trying to sleep knowing that I had seen the venue almost in it's 'ready to go' state.

After packing up for us on Sunday, we only had to go and collect our boxes and gifts which was hugely appreciated with slightly sore heads! The Crown is just a short walk down the road through very pretty Bawtry and so it was very easy to walk there and back for all of our guests. Urban even announced to our guests when would be a good time to go and check in and Libby arranged for bags of the wedding party to be delivered to our rooms from Bawtry Hall after we arrived on Saturday. We were able to store spare shoes and a change of shirt for my husband in the cloakroom and staff room area and so we never missed the hotel feel with a room upstairs.

In short, book it. You will be in safe hands.

We booked our wedding in 2022 with Tori the manager at Bawtry Hall, and from start to finish she has been there helping us along the way, to ensure our day was what we wanted.

The Hall is a country estate located within the small market tow ln of Bawtry south of Doncaster, and has amazing period features, but due to the large windows and light colouring is extremely inviting and a sight to behold.

The venue is simply beautiful it would he possible to even get away with minimal dressing of the rooms as the period features and existing decor are impressive.

When we booked our wedding we went for a Friday package with set menu, and as we approached our day we saw the venue began to offer build your own menu options, we approached Tori and asked about rejigging some aspects of our set menu and she was able to accommodate our changes with ease.

The in-house DJ and Urban the master of celebrations are simply amazing and help to make the day.

The sister hotel which is where the accommodation is at, is only a short walk across the market place and the bridal suite (suite one) is stunning with it's turquoise and white tones, dressing room and ensuite.

We would 100% recommend Bawtry Hall for anyone wanting to have a country estate wedding.

We had our wedding day at Bawtry hall and it was definitely a day to remember! Was a perfect venue for our wedding we had the whole day there from the ceremony to the evening. We had so many compliments on the how beautiful the venue is and the staff was so helpful and professional. So many beautiful photo opportunities and beautiful gardens for the saxophonist and garden games 🥰

We had our wedding at Bawtry Hall on Sunday 27th August and the whole day was just incredible! I stayed over at The Crown Hotel next door the night before and had a lovely meal in the restaurant with my bridesmaids. Our make up artists, hairdresser & photographers came to the Crown the morning of the wedding and knowing we were literally 2 minutes away was such a relief. From start to finish the events team were amazing going above and beyond helping me with the day’s planning. On the day itself Libby who runs Bawtry Hall, her team & Urban the toastmaster ensured the day ran smoothly and everything was just perfect. We have received so many comments on how incredible to food was throughout the day. The whole team are a credit and nothing was too much trouble! The venue itself is just beautiful and our photographers got the most amazing shots of the hall as our backdrop. The day went so quickly, I wish we could do it all over again!
