Facilities and Capacity
Beamish Hall Country House Hotel is available on an exclusive basis, allowing you to choose between individual function room rentals and entire buyout packages. You and your guests can enjoy the whole property for your complete and private celebrations, with guest capacity ranging from 10 to 300. There is a fantastic selection of rooms, including the beautiful Victorian Winter Gardens Orangery and the wonderful wood-panelled Shafto Hall. The striking interiors are complemented beautifully by the stunning parkland and sweeping estate. Photograph opportunities abound on the property as couples will find themselves spoiled for the choice of spectacular backdops.

A truly unforgettable experience
From the moment we decided Beamish Hall was the place for us the whole team have been absolutely amazing.

A dream venue
We absolutely loved every minute of our wedding and all of our guests couldn’t believe how spectacular the venue was. It looked so stunning.
The service was just amazing, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and during the planning stages, the staff at Beamish were very helpful and responsive.
I would 100 percent recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married!

A perfect day
We booked a twilight wedding package with Beamish Hall and used Beamish Extras for decor in the venue. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We booked a meal in the Stables restaurant the evening before which was fabulous. The venue is beautiful, the food is amazing and the staff are so attentive and want to ensure that you have everything that you need. We couldn’t have wished for a better day.

Wow! Just wow!
What an amazing and beautiful venue! From our first visit I knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding, we didn’t go to any others after seeing Beamish Hall. The staff were amazing on our day and couldn’t have done more to ensure the day went as smoothly as possible and that everyone was happy and relaxed.
Delicious food, spectacular venue, beautiful surroundings, very comfortable bedrooms, what more could you ask for to have the most amazing wedding? I just wish we could do it all again!

We had a fantastic day thanks to the staff at beamish. Katie was our wedding co-ordinator in the morning and she was lovely! Andy was helping the groom set up from seven and was very supportive. The day ran smoothly and there were no hiccups which was amazing! We had the most beautiful wedding.

Dream Wedding Venue
Where do we begin.
From the first time we drove into the venue for the open day the grounds just looked stunning. The staff were so helpful and were ready and willing to support whenever we needed them. The events team could not be more helpful. They always responded quickly to our many emails and couldn’t have helped more with our unfortunate last-minute changes. Beamish extras made the venue even more stunning and we’re always on hand to tell us what they thought would go with our theme. We will never forget the moment when we entered the winter Gardens on our wedding day and saw all of the teams hard work come to life.
A huge thank you has to go to Emily who looked after us on the day and beforehand and made us feel supported, looked after and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect.
The grounds on our day looked particularly special and thanks has to go out to the groundsman who were tirelessly looking after the spectacular surroundings even the day after the wedding they were making sure it still looked perfect.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Northeast, then you need to go and look at this venue. Not only is it the most incredible venue to look at both inside and outside I know that the staff will support you every step of the way of your wedding journey and we couldn’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for us.

Amazing wedding
We would just like to thank everyone at Beamish Hall wedding team for their work and effort on our special day. They all went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect day. The food was amazing and my family as vegans were really well provided for, we could not have asked for a better day!

Beyond expectation
The staff at beamish hall went over and above from the build up to night before all the way until they waved us off the next day.
Nothing was too much and they were all so pleasant to our guests.
The female manager and another lady were so lovely and the male manager who also served at the bar.

Best day of our lives
We had the most amazing wedding at Beamish hall and honestly couldn’t recommend the venue more. From start to finish the team were so friendly and helpful. On the day everything was so well organised and seamless. We were told where to go when and they managed everything. Having their on-site decorating team helped too, as they moved flowers between rooms so we didn’t need to worry about anything.
The venue itself was just perfect too. Such a lovely building. We had exclusive use so we’re able to use each of the 3 big function rooms, and it felt intimate but grand at the same time.
There’s also 40 bedrooms so although a few guests couldn’t book a room the majority were able to, and there’s a few hotels close by too. Although there are cheaper venues, I think it was very reasonable for what we got, and cheaper than a lot in the area.

We fell in love with Beamish Hall on our first ever visit, to our first ever wedding fair since being engaged......as we fell in love immediately. From start to finish we have been met with excellence, care, excitement, passion and absolute outstanding service from everyone at Beamish Hall.
Our experience was unforgettable, magical and once in a lifetime and looking back, it was always going to be Beamish for us. The team couldn't do enough for us and we were joyously looked after, nothing was a bother, the day ran perfectly, we didn't hav to lift a finger, everything was immaculate and beautiful.

Fabulous. Our Magical Winter Wonderland Wedding.
My husband and I had our wedding at Beamish in December 2023. It was a magical and beautiful day from start to finish, which would not have been possible without the amazing wedding team at Beamish. The team were kind, patient and helpful, every step of the way! No question was a silly question. Everything ran smoothly thanks to the wedding team. We would recommend any couple had their wedding at beamish. The food was gorgeous, all guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how kind the staff were. There is nothing the staff won’t do to ensure you have a day to remember.
