Birdsall House is an elegant estate and wedding venue in Malton, North Yorkshire. This sophisticated setting can accommodate weddings and events for up to 150 guests and boasts its own prohibiton style nightclub which opened in Spring 2024. However, Birdsall House is also ideal for smaller, more intimate gatherings of 20 individuals or less. Surrounded by sprawling gardens and mature trees, this stunning and very unique destination is perfectly set up as a fairytale setting.

Facilities and Capacity

The house and grounds at Birdsall have many captivating areas and are especially ideal for hosting beautiful weddings in a spectacular location with a vast array of photo opportunities. If your heart is set on an outdoor celebration, you can choose from marrying within our 12th-Century ruins or in a small temple overlooking our gardens and lakes. Alternatively, for religious ceremonies, you can marry in St. Mary's Church, within our grounds. You can host civil ceremonies, receptions and weddings breakfasts within the richly decorated rooms within the house and we work with each couple to find out which option is best for them. Following the formal parts of the day guests move down into our newly rennovated evening events area, The Old Kitchen, to dance the night away. We have six bedrooms so your bridal party can be near you on your big day and have a large range of high quality accomodation for the rest of your family and guests very close by.

In the runup to your wedding we are on hand to help guide you and plan with you to ensure you have the perfect wedding day, a day you will truly remember for the rest of your lives. This planning, both prior to you day, and overseeing everything on the day, in included in our venue fee and ensure everything runs smoothly and hassle free. from sourceing the right suppliers to executing the final dancing requests, nothing is too much trouble for our event coordinators.
