The Town Hall is located centrally within Bishop Auckland and is a licensed venue for civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. We are here to help make your special day memorable. Our dedicated team will be there to assist you through the planning process, setup and on the day to make your wedding everything you want it to be.

Our Eden Theatre and Laurel Room can provide the ideal setting for your special day, whether you are welcoming a lot of guests or would prefer a more intimate space. We offer a number of different room layouts and arrangements, including staging for entertainment within the Theatre, and invite you to add your own personal touches such as centrepieces, flowers or decorations.

We offer a range of in-house food and drinks packages and extras. However, if you would prefer to arrange catering from another provider, we are happy to accommodate.
