Botleys Mansion is exclusively yours for the day and night. Whether you envision a vibrant summer celebration by the fountain and grand stone staircase, or a cosy winter wedding under the glow of twinkling chandeliers, Botleys Mansion offers the perfect setting to bring your love story to life.
The Setting
Botleys Mansion is just thirty minutes from London, but feels a million miles away, surrounded by acres of park land. Your first glimpse of this grand Palladian house is as you turn onto the private sweeping driveway. Immediately, you’re in awe of its presence.
The Ceremony
With a variety of celebration spaces, Botleys Mansion can host from 50-288 guests for your ceremony and wedding banquet, and up to 500 guests for your evening reception.
The first room to catch your eye is the Green Room; intimate and romantic; you will fall in love with the pastel tones and golden chandeliers; this space is perfect for ceremonies up to 130 guests.
If you’re looking for something a little more contemporary, the glass-roofed Atrium can host up to 288 seated guests. Complimented by a statement staircase and 7 chandeliers, this room lends itself to the most stylish of celebrations.
Outside of the mansion, the parkland views make the perfect backdrop for your summer nuptials, followed by bottomless drinks reception around the fountain whilst you have your photographs taken.
Accommodation
The mansion’s beautiful Botleys Suite is one of 12 elegant bedrooms for hosting family and friends, and stories of the night before are recounted over breakfast together, served in the Dining Room the next morning. Our dream wedding at Botleys Mansion, truly the most magical day!
One of the standout features for me as a bride was The Harper Planner. Having a single, well-organized platform to coordinate everything with the venue made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. Throughout the planning process, Botley's staff were on hand to answer any of our questions. We even visited the venue three more times with our parents, suppliers and for the tasting evening - what a special and memorable night that was, possibly my favourite part of wedding planning! We also had several check-in Zoom calls with the venue where they answered all of our questions and were so supportive and reassuring throughout. Special mention to the Botleys catering team for the incredible wedding breakfast and canapés, our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten!
On our wedding day, we were introduced to Marie, our Day Coordinator, and I can’t thank her enough for her outstanding support. She ensured everything ran flawlessly, offered invaluable advice (like not scrunching up our face for the confetti shot), made sure we ate, kept glasses of fizz at the ready, and regularly checked in to make sure we were relaxed and happy. Botleys also took care of all the setup and packing up of the items we brought, executing everything perfectly. This allowed us to focus entirely on enjoying the day without a worry.
I cannot recommend Botleys Mansion enough, we planned our wedding
in 8 months and they truly gave us the wedding of our dreams. We can't believe it's all over and would love to relive the day again as it was honestly the best day of our lives. Thank you Botleys Mansion, for everything!
The day itself was great, however the administration beforehand and afterwards was very disappointing.
Numerous times during our planning process we were told incorrect and contradictory information in person or via email which created a lot of unnecessary stress and engagement with managers to sort out i.e. our original quote was significantly different to our billed amount. Multiple times we had to chase staff for information and responses to our emails and calls for answers to basic questions.
The day itself went great and we had a fantastic time but for a venue of this calibre you could find somewhere else that provides a more professional and stress free planning process.

Magical and exclusive venue
At no point in planning did we think our wedding would be described as magical but we’ve kept hearing that from our guests feedback. The mansion was truly spectacular especially at sunset and the service from the team was top notch to match.
We had such a relaxed day and the managers on the day Sarah and emcee Tom did such an amazing job taking care of us so that we could focus on having fun.
Sarah was super attentive and thoughtful of my husband and I, making sure we had drinks at hand. Tom the host did an amazing job and adapted so well to the two of us. The events really went without a hitch with his direction.
The wonderful night managers and bar staff ensured seamless transitions into the night events. From letting me know early on re the delays in dance floor set up and making quick decisions re plan for fireworks etc! The bar staff had a tall order and I can safely say all our guest had plenty to drink so they did their job great!
The run up to the day was also a seamless process with Maddie and Megs direction. And the on the day management of external suppliers was superb!
Beautiful venue
My only thing that brings it down slightly is the portal. While appreciate it is helpful for storing all the data for the wedding, it felt at times an over reliance on the usage of the portal meant we weren’t really sure who we were talking to at times. There were instances where one member of staff said one thing but then another member of staff would say something else. The portal itself also feels quite simplistic and slow so could do with a refresh. As a suggestion, perhaps the ability to allow 2 users on the portal rather than just 1 could be helpful.
Overall, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. The staff and venue was absolutely perfect on the day and we can’t thank botleys enough for making our special day one we will remember forever.

The planning process is smooth and seamless and they make sure that not detail is forgotten And the on the day wedding management and staff were great!
Overall we both had such a special day and will always hold fond memories of botleys - looking forward to coming back and visit the grounds on our first anniversary next year :)

Thanks to the online wedding planner, the fast responsiveness, and their recommendations we did not feel stressed ONE BIT! We actually got to enjoy the whole planning process and also felt like that anything we ever dreamed was possible.
From the wedding breakfast tasting to speaking with the team a few days prior to date, all went smoothly and with such a great energy and excitement.
Not only us, but also all of our guests were amazed by their service. We did not had to worry about anything on the day and could just enjoy ourselves and take it all in. They made sure that throughout our wedding day we had various moments to ourselves, just us, to take it all in. Also, the team really made sure that we at and drank enough to stay hydrated and energised.
The location and environment was also a BIG plus for us - in nature and close to the airport, to Dover, and to many hotels. As some of our family had to travel from abroad, they had plenty of options to attend our wedding.
Words cannot express how grateful we are that we choose this beautiful venue for our wedding day. It has been an absolute dream!!
