Nestled between the historic port of Dover and the charming town of Deal, boasting open views of the English Channel the Pines Garden offers guests six acres of garden to explore. You can take a tranquil escape into the beauty of nature as you celebrate your special day, enjoying the serenity of this secluded space.

Facilities and Capacity

The multi-award-winning Calyx was constructed using 'passive-house design' principles by incorporating natural renewable materials. The building is surrounded by sweeping lush lawns. It features beautiful photography opportunities, such as the adjoining lake, a grass labyrinth, and a background of the chalk cliffs of the Kent coastline. Couples looking to host an intimate wedding ceremony can enjoy an outdoor celebration or indoor gathering from 26 to 72 of their closest family and friends.

Bathed in natural light throughout the venue, the Calyx makes a beautiful choice all year-round. Guests can enjoy a drinks reception on the private terrace or outside on the lawn free to explore the gardens. Indoors, you can experience an incredible private dining experience in the upper roundel, relishing a fantastic curated menu, using locally sourced produce prepared by one of our Kent chefs. Afterwards, you may return to the lower roundel for your evening celebrations, where there is a dance floor and stocked bar celebrating the best of Kent from local vineyards, distilleries and brewers, or enjoy the twilight sky on the upper terrace sipping cocktails.
