About
The Duke of Rothesay Highland Games Pavilion is located in the tiny Scottish Highlands village of Braemar within the Cairngorm National Park. Home to the world-famous Braemar Royal Highland Gathering, where the royals have been coming since 1846, the Pavilion was built for King Charles III's 70th birthday and was designed by Michael Harris, architect for the Princes Foundation. It was opened by the late Queen in 2018.
This is a unique space to hold your wedding, with various rooms that can be used for the ceremony and reception. You can also hold your ceremony within the arena outside the Royal Box. The venue is ideal for small weddings, but we can accommodate up to 100. We can even have helicopters land within the arena.
If you would like a piper to greet your guests and play some tunes while they wait for the bride to arrive, no problem. We have them in abundance. We could even arrange for a full pipe band!
Surrounded by ancient mountains and trees, this is a venue with a royal seal.
We have a full size catering kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, and plenty of parking, big enough for several coaches.
Braemar Gathering And Highland Games Centre is a lovely wedding venue located in Braemar, Aberdeen & Deeside.
