Breckenhill is a stunning wedding venue located in Ballyclare, Co. Antrim. The stone structure was originally built in 1755 by the millowner who ran watermills in the valley below—the associated farm buildings date from the same period.

We have extensive gardens with lots of lovely spaces for photographs.

The Stone Barn and the Green Barn make up a wonderful, flexible venue and an outstanding location for one of the most important days of your life. Lovingly and sensitively converted for the celebration of weddings, you have two barns and the great outdoors in which to celebrate your wedding.

Facilities and capacity

Breckenhill has a licence for civil wedding marriages and civil partnerships celebrations. We can hold ceremonies outdoors and indoors on site. For your reception you can seat 80 upstairs, or up to 150 in the Green Barn.

Services offered

You will be free to decorate in the style of your choice and make the venue your own for the big day. They can also supply anything you may need: tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc.

Breckenhill has loads of space, even for bouncy castles and outdoor garden games. We can even offer an archery session to entertain your guests!

Cuisine

We have a wide range of suppliers with most of our weddings being of the less formal type. We have a well-equipped kitchen and bar facilities etc.

Accommodation

We have a beautiful camping area overlooking the lake with composting loos! You can hire accommodation nearby as well.
