Daughter's Wedding July 19

Over the last few years we have visited Briarfields on many occasions for Christmas Party Nights, family celebration meals, afternoon teas, Author talks or just for a drink after a walk along the coastline. The excellent service we have received and the quality of the food, as well the beautiful location, resulted in my daughter and her fiancé choosing the Hotel to host their Wedding Reception celebration on 6th July 2019.
Sarah was our wedding coordinator and was a great support to arrange the food and drinks for the day as well as the setting out the room with the decoration we provided. On the day she managed the day to ensure it all went smoothly. She really helped make this a special day.
We had a great day, excellent food and drink and then retiring to one of the newly refurbished rooms. In the morning having catch up and breakfast with the guests who stayed was the icing on the cake.
I would highly recommend Briarfields to anyone who is looking a wedding reception venue.

Fantastic wedding day

I attended a wedding here and it was a really fabulous day from start to finish. The canapés on the decking were delicious and the staff serving them were knowledgeable and really professional. The bar staff serving the welcome drinks were lovely. The venue itself was decorated beautifully. To serve 100 people at once with a two course meal that came out hot and quickly was no mean feat, but it was done and done very well. The bar always had enough staff on and the evening nibbles went down a treat (the cheese board was delicious!). Although I attended as a guest and don't need to rate this as the 'customer' I just wanted to say well done to all the staff for making it such a fantastic day and to the kitchen for the delicious food. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a wedding/event venue.

Family Wedding

Our Great Nephew had his wedding reception here, family also stayed here overnight saying how lovely the rooms were. We had a 3 course meal and evening buffet which was excellent. The wedding room had been decorated to perfection the bar was good it also had a big outside area for sitting with heaters and a very large grassy area with swings etc for the children. The whole day was more than you could have wished for

Daughters Wedding

my daughters wedding was held here staff good ,rooms excellent .food was excellent all guests were amazed .food not dear for the quality received. panacotta dessert was amazing. beach is short walk away

Daughters Wedding Reception

It is the perfect venue for a wedding reception, well equipped comfortable,various sized rooms, spacious patio and grassed area with children’s climbing frame, swings, which in my opinion is a must, if the children are happy and content the adults can relax and enjoy the event. The dining room/bar area is such a beautiful space for the band/disco, tables, photo booth, sweet station and for people to dance, eat, chat, enjoy. The snug room with fireplace was perfect for children’s inside activities, colouring, games etc. The food was delicious, well presented and efficiently served. The staff were very friendly and helpful and at the end of the evening collected everything we had put into the event, games indoor and out, flowers etc neatly together. All valuables, presents cards etc locked away safe until we were ready to leave. It was the perfect occasion in a brilliant venue.
