We had our wedding in the summer at The Seahorse, and I can not recommend it highly enough! We had our reception party downstairs with the beautiful view of the sea, a sit down 3 course meal and a party afterwards and it was so perfect! Bex the Events Manager was amazing and everything went exactly to plan, and she was so helpful and accomodating of all our requests. The staff on the day were brilliant, and we had the best day! The Seahorse also kindly gave us dinner on the house when we went back for dinner recently to reminisce! Big thanks to everyone at the Seahorse who helped to make our day run so smoothly.

Gorgeous location and has great staff who made sure our dreams came true. Everyone made us feel so comfortable and in very safe hands - on what could be a little bit of a stressful time! The barn is great if you would like to have everything in one location, we did the ceremony at one end which then turned into a dance floor after the wedding reception. Gorgeous piccie spots too - and 2 pigs (Tommy and Violet) that were stars of the show for the kids! Really recommend the Great Thatch Barn and Circa.

How do I start? We began planning with Henry and Rowan back in 2019 when we visited the site that Winter. After the devastating effect of COVID we watched their efforts and business grow over the next couple of years until, finally, we were able to have the wedding which surpassed all our expectations July 2022. The site is beautifully quiet, rural and eco-conscious. Ever-evolving projects keep popping up and we have seen the birth of the camping fields with the addition of outdoor showers, compost toilet block, fire pit and outdoor chill area. A huge part of this ethos comes through in things which are upcycled, remade, or built by hand. Everything we were missing when we relocated to site the day before our wedding was taken care of and we wanted for nothing. I will remember every moment of this gorgeously rustic place until the day I am no longer here and we have been told by our guests repeatedly that they adored the day in its entirety. I hope to still come camping here in the future and revive some of our emotions of the day. If you want love, friends, family, nature and an emotionally caring and enthusiastic company then THIS is the place for you. It's very special to us. Thank you Henry & Rowan

We had our wedding reception and party at Patterns last Sunday and the entire day was brilliant, it could not have been any better! The location is as good as it gets, Jennie and the staff were all amazing and everything remained on schedule which doesn’t seem to normally happen at weddings! We got there and had Prosecco on the terrace in the sun overlooking the seafront, then had tapas and paella inside (the caterers were recommended by Patterns and were also brilliant). We were able to have both a band play followed by a DJ. The place already looks great and doesn’t require much decoration. Definitely recommend if you want a modern, fun wedding that doesn’t require too much organisation. Thank you so much Patterns team!

At last a quiet moment to write to you to thank. The building is just magnificent and was the perfect venue for our wedding celebrations. We were thrilled how everything came together so brilliantly with contributions from so many, all working together to make it happen. I was very impressed indeed with your easy and helpful communication beforehand as well as all your hard work the day before and during the wedding. You were all so friendly, polite and organised, and coordinated and managed the day amazingly. We cannot thank you enough for everything. For us it was all completely wonderful.

1. Communal hotel areas - the hotel has been beautifully re-furbished and decorated. We loved the marine theme in the restaurant, bar and snug area. The room where we held the reception was lovely - so clean and fresh. 2. Bedroom - we loved our deluxe sea-view room. It was huge which was just as well as we had so much stuff for the wedding! The bed was super - so comfy we didn't want to get out of it. 3. Food - we ate in The Jetty on Thursday evening, along with the in-laws and some friends and we all thought that the food was superb. Breakfasts were also delicious. 4. Wedding Reception - everything went without a hitch. Will was very helpful and totally unflappable. The table and bar service were excellent. The wedding breakfast and supper food was all lovely. 5. Wedding Co-ordinator - She is a real asset to your hotel and was absolutely brilliant from the first point of contact all the way through to our departure. Nothing was too much trouble for her; she is totally professional yet friendly and approachable. One of the main reasons we chose the BHH was because we trusted Pauline from Day 1. 6. Other Staff - the rest of your staff are also superb - you have a great team with real can-do attitude. We would particularly like to mention our 'favourite' breakfast waiter - Phil - he was so kind, friendly and helpful. 8. Other Feedback - we have received some excellent feedback from our guests. Those who stayed at your hotel all loved it, with some wanting to stay again. Other attendees commended us on our choice of hotel. We re hoping to staying with you again in the near future.
