From start to finish, all the staff at Buxted were amazing but a special mention to Holly & Gemma in the wedding team and the toast master Marc. The whole process of planning our wedding was so smooth and we couldn't have been any more grateful of everyone at Buxted. The hotel and grounds are just beautiful. Our suite, the 'Winston Churchill,' was one of the most gorgeous rooms I've ever stayed in. It is so spacious and overlooking the lake and grounds The bathroom, is something else, the roll top bath is incredible overlooking the grounds. The food was divine and everyone said how lovely the food was. A huge thank you to everyone involved in our wedding planning, and on our big day. I wish we could do it all over again. Would highly recommend.

A stunning venue with a church in the grounds, we had exclusive use. There were multiple last minute changes and the hotel was incredibly flexible, nothing was too much for their events team Gemma and Holly. We must give a special mention to the hotel manager Marc who came to the aid of me as the bride when the heavens opened and drove me in his car to keep me dry. We must also give a shout out to Rob who always made us laugh every time we visited. They all ensured the rain didn't dampen our day. The canapes and food are also amazing, including for those with allergies.

The team were absolutely amazing on the day, I must have pushed Jack to his limit in the morning but he took it like a champ and couldn't have done anymore for us if he tried.

Marc as always was the star of the day! His Infectious love for weddings and hosting people was felt by everyone and it was just magical to see him with everyone. Not a single person didn't comment on him.

The day went like an absolute dream, everything was so well organised and everyone knew what was needed before I even asked.

The venue itself is perfect, big chandeliers, fireplaces and yet it feels so warm and friendly as soon as you walk through the door. The food is amazing, on the day and breakfast the morning after.

The suites were just incredible! The exec and double rooms were spacious and clean, exactly what you need from a room and very comfortable.

This venue is literally just perfect and the staff are what makes it so magical.

We had the most incredible wedding at Buxted Park! The whole team were so helpful throughout the entire process and made what can be quite a stressful experience, very enjoyable. We are so thrilled with how our wedding turned out, and so much of that was due to the incredible experience we had with Buxted Park. Throughout the planning, all the way up until our send off, the entire experience has been flawless. We - and our guests - were blown away by the impeccable service, the incredible food, the attention to detail, and the level of care shown by the friendly team. Everyone on the day was so kind, and we felt so looked after, especially when one of our guests became ill. Special thanks go to Marc, who was absolutely unforgettable and superb throughout, to Jack, who was so attentive and kind, to Robert who has waited on us several times when we've visited and has such a lovely, cheerful energy, and to Gemma for being an absolute superstar throughout the entire process. She made planning a big event feel relaxed and easy, which is no mean feat. We are so so grateful to you all, and will be recommending Buxted Park and Handpicked Hotels to all our friends (we already have one of our bridesmaids viewing a handpicked hotel in yorkshire next weekend for her wedding venue because she was so impressed by her experience at Buxted!). We have been a little slow in leaving our review, but hope we can now make up for this! We decided last August to get married within 2022 and set a November date, giving us less than 12 weeks to organise and get everything together. Our wedding was split over two days and at first we only intended to have our small ceremony and evening at the hotel. However, we quickly changed our mind when Holly and the team gave us flexibility, options and solutions for holding our wedding across the Friday and Saturday with them.

I was extremely apprehensive about the wedding, it was the second time round for both of us and we knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted to do it. After having explained this, Holly was calm, straight forward and methodical in her approach, which was reassuring and exactly what we needed. Emails chains were clear and detailed, everything was laid out and by the time our last planning meeting came around it felt easy to make the final decisions.

Buxted Park Hotel made our intimate wedding day magical and the Saturday evening wedding celebration for all of our friends and family went off without a hitch! We were welcomed warmly from the moment we stepped over the threshold on Thursday evening, to our departure on Sunday morning … nothing was too much bother for the team.

We cannot thank everyone enough, from Holly with her meticulous organisation to Jack and the rest of the incredible hotel team that oversaw the running of our two days. We were well cared for, listened to and made to feel special for those two days … I never thought I would say there was ‘no stress’, but honestly there was so much support from the staff that any hurdles we encountered were quickly fixed. It truly was a beautiful venue, the grounds were stunning - we got married at twilight, had photographs in the grounds as the sun set and then some beautiful sparkler shots in the evening. Everything about our wedding day and subsequent party evening was amazing and we are so happy and grateful to have found Buxted Park, a very local venue for us, to have celebrated this special moment. We can’t wait to book back in for an anniversary some time in the coming years.

My wife and I had the perfect wedding day at Buxted Park Hotel. The staff at Buxted were a big reason why the day went so brilliantly.

The food and bedrooms are also to fantastic. We loved having our nearest and dearest stay the night and join us for breakfast the best morning.

My husband and I had the most amazing wedding day thanks to the brilliant team at Buxted.

Becca, our co-ordinator was absolutely great at communication and made sure that all the finer details had been thought of before the big day. As a complete control freak, I (surprisingly) felt totally relaxed that everything was in hand and didn't have to worry about a thing! Phil was a brilliant toast master and made sure the day went to schedule and that everyone was where they needed to be. The rest of the team provided such great service and were really friendly, starting with our initial consultation, to the menu tastings and right through until breakfast the morning after our wedding.

We booked their exclusive use package, as it was important to us to have a whole venue to ourselves, and it meant that we could make use of all of their bedrooms and spend the whole day/night/next morning with our family and friends. We chose to have our ceremony in The Orangery and our wedding breakfast and reception in The Ballroom. The venue is amazing, and we were so lucky that we had perfect weather and managed to capture some lovely photos around the hotel.

The only thing I have marked down is the flexibility - there are some restrictions with the venue, such as having to use their in-house catering and corkage not being an option. For us, this meant less things to organise and worry about, but for other couples this may be an issue.

Overall, nothing was too much trouble for Buxted, the service was impeccable, and all our guests say it's the best wedding they've ever been to! We were over the moon with our day and wouldn't have changed a thing.

Wow, we cannot thank all the staff at Buxted Park Hotel enough. They are a true asset to the hotel.

Right from the beginning of our wedding planning, Holly was a huge help to ensure we knew what we needed to do and when. We went for a package with the hotel which was fairly priced and made the day run so smoothly. The hotel staff go above and beyond for their guests. The night before we arrived was a huge storm immediately after a drought leaving a small section of the grounds with large puddles (where we wanted to get married). We were hoping to get married outside (although we loved the beautiful orangery and would have been so happy marrying there too!), we looked out the window to see Phil dressed up in his suit, sweeping away the puddles to help it drain away - amazing service! The youngest children were brought warm milk and cookies the night before the wedding too which they were thrilled about.

On our wedding day, both us and our guests were treated like royalty and very well looked after. The food was incredible and served very quickly. The following day, all our guests complimented the beautiful venue and how much they enjoyed their day/overnight stay.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue I could not recommend the hotel enough! It’s so great having a beautiful venue with many options of where to get married, incredible grounds, delicious food and plenty of accommodation for guests. I recommend contacting the hotel to get a tour and check out the packages they have available!

Buxted went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. The service was impeccable. The toast master was entertaining whilst demonstrating amazing etiquette and refinement.

For me, Buxted really showed their professionalism and attention to care when my uncle had a seizure. They were extremely quick to clear the room in a respectful manner, organise an ambulance and the events of the day seamlessly returned to normality very quickly after. (he's fine btw)

Not only were the team at Buxted professional but they genuinely all came across as very kind and caring individuals which I think is as sincere as it gets when it comes to customer service. In fact, it's beyond customer services. They are a group of very special people.

I cannot thank Holly and the Buxted team enough for everything. Our day was perfect. Everyone was so helpful, the day ran like clockwork. The food was amazing and all our guests commented on how the day flowed with no lag and how relaxed and fun it was. The whole Buxted team were so hands on and made our day exactly what we envisioned. Our wedding had been on the books with Buxted for three years by the time it finally came around in October. We booked quite a way in advance for a specific 2020 date, but Covid sadly had other ideas.
That said the whole team, and Holly in particular, were absolutely incredible and we cannot thank them enough for all the help; patience and attention to detail they put into our day and us as a couple. It all helped make our day absolutely incredible and one of a kind. I already miss it! Our day was actually a whole weekend as we also booked a night prior package with family and friends, so there were a lot of component parts, but all were managed impeccably by Holly and the team. Even when there were room swaps, new born babies and personalised glasses to distribute! Everything was quite simply handled perfectly, nothing was too big an ask. Also a huge thank you to Phil and of course Marc for everything they did on the day too. Both were incredible and Marc was an absolute delight, with all of our guests agreeing he made the day!
The whole Buxted Park Team are absolutely fantastic and made everything perfect and our guests all commented on how welcoming, friendly and just fabulous the hotel and all staff were. I could go on all day but simply put can't recommend them enough. The were the best decision we made with regards to our wedding.

We had our wedding here in mid September and it was the most perfect fairytale! We had our signing a few weeks before the wedding so we could have the ceremony outdoors facing the beautiful countryside, then we had canapés and prosecco on the terrace, the meal in the bright and stunning orangery and then the evening celebrations in the orangery too. It was everything we imagined and more! Holly and Gemma were extremely adaptable in making sure all the little details we wanted were perfect. We had spent a long time looking at venues before coming across, but seeing the orangery, the outside scenery and not to mention the beautiful suites, we knew Buxted Park would be the one! and for the price it was extremely affordable compared to other venues with similar offerings. On the day everything went extremely smoothly, special shout out to Phil and our amazing MC Marc who ensured everything went so well and organised. The whole service team was incredibly helpful and kind to all guests too! Our DJ and videographers said that this is the smoothest wedding they have been to and our guests said they felt like they were in a dream and the best wedding they've been to! We're so grateful to Buxted Park for making our dream come true!! Thank you to all!!
