I am so happy I choose Cantley house hotel, my day was perfect from start to finish. All my visions came to life and Cantley were so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for me. Lara and Diane were amazing on the day, I was very lucky to have them!! Nothing was too much trouble. I had an outdoor ceremony which was amazing. Any request I had, it never seemed a problem. When planning your big day, you can’t go wrong using this venue. I would recommend Cantley to anyone and all my guests would say the same.

My wife and I chose Cantley House Hotel as our wedding venue and we had an absolutely incredible time. From where we started over 2 years ago to the wedding reception, Emma and her team have been flawless in executing a perfect day and we couldn't have done this without them. Everyone complimented the food and the DJ had people dancing all night. We highly recommend Cantley if you're looking for a day you'll never forget.

We had the most wonderful wedding day at Cantley! We were so lucky with the weather, I think we had the last best day of summer , we had been planning to get married outside and so delighted that we were able to. The events staff (especially Sarah) were all brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and the planning meetings leading up the Wedding were so helpful to refine plans.
We chose to get married on a weekday rather than on a weekend as it suited our family life and timed perfectly in the summer holidays. The venue had lots of different options & packages to choose from and we did end up adding things on as we got closer to the date (for example we had booked for a 2 course wedding breakfast but after the taster evening we fell in love with the sticky toffee pudding so we HAD to add that on :)
The taster evening for menu choices was super helpful and even on that occasion the staff in the restaurant were brilliant and informative.
There are some regular suppliers that Cantley recommend and we went with most of them (DJ, faux florist, Table decor and photobooth) and it really helped that they were familiar with Cantley and knew where best to set things up etc
A lot of our guests stayed over with us so it was really lovely to have breakfast altogether in the morning
It was a perfect choice for us!

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Cantley House in Wokingham, and we cannot express enough how perfect the day was from start to finish. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and the team was very accommodating with every request we had. From the very first contact through to food tastings and final preparations, every step of the way was expertly handled; we felt we were in very safe hands throughout.

One of the highlights for us was being able to book out all of the rooms for a complete venue hire, which really made it feel like we could take over the venue and make it our own for the day.

The food in particular was delicious, and our guests were singing the praises of the venue not only on the day but also ever since then. Many told us it was one of the nicest and most fun weddings they had ever been to, and we owe a huge part of that to the wonderful team at Cantley House.

A special thank you goes to Emma, our wedding coordinator, who was a huge help in the lead-up to the day. She ensured that everything was meticulously organised, right down to the full function sheet, which covered every detail (including aspects we hadn’t even thought of!). We got married here in August 2024 and honestly could not have asked for a more perfect venue. From start to finish the staff here are helpful, accommodating and thoroughly organised.

We used the Friday exclusive package which was well worth the money - having all our family and friends staying at the hotel made for the perfect 'morning-after' breakfast!

Sarah and Diane looked after us before the wedding and on the day and were both excellent, any emails and questions we had were answered promptly and the wedding day itself could not have been run more smoothly.

The food and drink are all great quality and the range of dietary requirements of our guests were catered for appropriately. I'd especially recommend the pizza oven upgrade for evening food, it was delicious and a real hit with our guests!

There are so many beautiful spaces at Cantley, from the garden out the back where we had our ceremony, to the barn we had our reception in, to the surrounding fields we went to for photos. For the price we paid this was definitely the best option we found in the area, and was well worth the money for the care and quality we received.

We had our wedding at Cantley house and we couldn't be happier. Emma was our wedding coordinator and Diane was there on the day and everything went so smoothly, communications were great and all our request were met. We loved the flow of the day, moving across the venue, the lawn, flowers, everything was beautiful. We wish we could do it all over again.

The venue ceremony holds 80 which was perfect for us. All our guests commented on how good the food was and there was so much pizza left in the evening as the guests were still full from the canapés and dinner. They have regular wedding fairs so recommend checking them out.

From hotel reception, to bar & restaurant staff and off course the wedding coordinators, nothing was an effort, everything was greeted with a smile and not once did we hear "I'll get someone to sort that". Everything was dealt with personally and swiftly.
Our wedding day was perfect and seamless, which is all anyone could ever ask for!

Cantley House Hotel was the first venue we ever visited back in February 2023 on a cold and went Saturday morning. We met with Lara who gave us a tour of the place, told us all about the various packages available and answered many questions. Straight after our visit, we had another venue open morning booked in and we were both of the same opinion that it couldn’t possibly live up to what we had just seen. We stopped our venue search at that moment because we knew Cantley was just perfect for us.

As we had family travelling from afar, we made great use of their exclusive Sunday package and it truly is an amazing deal but also so flexible with the ability to upgrade various aspects of the detail. Throughout the 18 months or so from booking to the actual big day, communication with Lara was absolutely faultless! The amount of emails I think we exchanged because we had so many questions that would just pop into our head were answered so promptly and with such professionalism.

On the day, it ran like clockwork to the timings we had agreed. The venue just looked stunning and all of the staff involved were so attentive and helpful. One of our guests who is a coeliac kept telling us how impressed she was with the dietary requirement food and how nothing was too much trouble.

Cantley House Hotel will always hold a special place in our hearts and I would 100000% recommend it to any couple wanting a truly amazing wedding day.

I could not recommend this venue enough. We had our wedding in July 2024 and had the best day of our lives. As well as the venue being beautiful, the staff really made it, they were so friendly, accommodating and no ask was too big. Lara was our wedding coordinator and made the whole process feel easy, she would always be in contact, reassuring us and would always respond very quickly. On the day the staff were exceptional and I would like to say a special thanks to Diane. All the staff really made our day, from making us feel relaxed to making sure the day ran smoothly. I couldn't recommend this venue enough.

We had a date in mind for our big day but struggled to find any venues that didn’t charge thousands just for the hiring fee. Cantley house was everything we wanted - value for money with the Friday exclusive package, use of the entire venue just for us, a beautiful building, barn and outdoor space and within gorgeous grounds. The staff were attentive and food delicious. Everyone commented on the beautiful bedrooms (that came included with the package) and there was money in the budget for entertainment that we saved on not having a separate fee for hire. We opted for a smaller ceremony at the venue with 35 guests, then fun and games with the wedding party guests arriving shortly afterwards. We had mini golf, lawn games, magician and caricaturist outside on the lawn before bbq in the barn, magic mirror and dj music in the evening. The place was perfect for the kids we had and the venue couldn’t have been more accommodating for anything we requested or needed. Would really recommend for anyone looking to have their wedding. Haven’t had pictures back yet but it was perfect…wouldn’t have changed a thing!

We got married at Cantley House Hotel on 25 May 2024 and had the most wonderful day. We stayed at the hotel the night before and the night of the wedding in a lovely suite room which had plenty of space for us to get ready on the wedding day morning. Lots of our family and friends also stayed at the hotel which was lovely and we all enjoyed breakfast together in The Stables. As well as being supported through the wedding planning process by Emma, we were so well looked after on the day by Debbie & the team who made sure everything ran smoothly throughout. As the sun shone down on us we were able to have our wedding ceremony and drinks reception outside in the beautiful garden and we enjoyed our wedding breakfast and evening reception in the Briar which is beautiful and rustic. We wanted a relaxed barn wedding in a beautiful location close to home and Cantley was the perfect venue for us. Thank you so much.

My husband and I held our wedding in Cantley House in April 24. From the start, our wedding coordinator Emma was efficient, responsive and helpful. The hotel staff on the day (Diane, Matt and others) were great and really ensured the day went smoothly whilst providing fantastic service and care to us and our families.
