From the moment we stepped into the Beach Club restaurant, we knew Carbis Bay was the perfect venue for our wedding. The stunning views were breathtaking, and the idea of having everything take place in one location was ideal. The Carbis Bay team was a pleasure to work with right from our initial booking—communication was excellent, and they were consistently professional and accommodating.

What truly stands out about the Carbis Bay events team is their willingness to go above and beyond. For example, during our wedding menu tasting six months prior, we were torn between two desserts, so they allowed us to try three instead. This small example sums up our entire experience with Carbis Bay; they strive to help and ensure our needs are met in whatever way they can. Our numerous emails with various questions and requests were always met with prompt and helpful responses, and we felt fully supported.

Our wedding day was a dream come true, and Sofia was incredibly helpful to my now husband during the setup in the morning. The entire day ran smoothly thanks to the organised events team, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our celebration. This was evident in both the major transitions—like from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast—as well as the small details, such as Sofia saving a plate of canapés for us while we took pictures, Phoebe coordinating with our band to ensure the music matched our vibe, and the seamless relocation of our cake cutting outside while the band was setting up. These extra efforts, while not necessary, truly showcased the events team’s commitment to going the extra mile.

The Beach Club itself is a fantastic venue; we loved how it was a white canvas, allowing us to decorate it to our taste. The outdoor decking was perfect for canapés and cocktails, and it’s just a thirty-second walk down to the beach for photos. We were even lucky enough to see seals swimming by during our celebration, which was incredible! My bridesmaids and I got ready in a Junior Beach Suite, conveniently located next to the Beach Club, with stunning views. Carbis Bay truly has its own microclimate; despite a storm in the morning, we enjoyed beautiful sunshine by the time we took our photos, so don't stress too much about the forecast! We also highly recommend upgrading the menu—the food was absolutely exquisite. We had forty-five guests which felt like a perfect number.

Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend Carbis Bay for a wedding. The views are spectacular, but the venue doesn’t rely solely on them for a perfect celebration. The food is outstanding, the staff are wonderful, and everything feels luxurious. We had the most perfect day, and we owe a tremendous thanks to Carbis Bay and the events team for making it possible.

We had our wedding at the Carbis Bay Hotel Beach Club Restaurant in June 2022. We had the most amazing day, thanks to the staff there. The Hotel itself is beautiful with such lovely surroundings. We don't live in Cornwall but Cornwall has been a special place to us for many years and we had looked at many venues in Cornwall for our wedding. Carbis bay was the last place we had planned to view this particular weekend and we both instantly knew it was the place for us. Ria from the events team was very responsive and informative throughout our planning process and Maxine who coordinated our wedding was amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for Maxine and her team at the Beach Club Restaurant, they work so hard to make sure everything is perfect. We knew from the first time we met Maxine that we were in safe hands and had total trust in her from start to finish. This was particularly important to us, especially living hundreds of miles away from our wedding venue. We both stayed at the hotel the night before our wedding and the staff were great, so accommodating and we took advantage of the spa facilities the night before which was perfect. The venue is more expensive than some of the others we viewed in Cornwall but so worth paying the money for the whole experience, amazing wedding, food was perfect (most guests commented how good the food was after our wedding) and amazing staff. The weather on our day was not as good as we'd hoped so our wedding was held inside instead of outside as planned but Maxine and her team dealt with everything so well, as we knew they would and made it perfect for us, leaving us to just relax and enjoy our special day. We could not of asked for anything better.

We also had Mark Clapp to play his Piano music after our ceremony and throughout the wedding breakfast. We were initially unsure about this as we are very modern in our thoughts but wanted something a bit different and we would highly recommend anyone to have Mark playing his piano. He is such a lovely man and very professional and was very helpful leading up to our wedding. He played all our requests aswell as many of his own choice with music from so many different era's. Most of our guests commented how good he was after the wedding. It created such a great atmosphere, very relaxed but also lively at the same time in parts with us all singing along.

We got married in June 2022, ceremony on the beach and reception in the Beach Hut. We would highly recommend Carbis Bay as a wedding venue, it is absolutely stunning! The hotel events team were always on hand if we had any questions and allowed us to visit the venue and ask any questions we had. The hotel staff on our wedding day were amazing, we could not fault them. Our guests were so amazed with the venue and we were so lucky with the weather, no one could believe we were in England! The food was delicious! We opted for the beach bride menu with BBQ and there was so much food and so much choice for all dietary requirements. We would highly recommend this venue and can't thank everyone enough for making our day so special. Wish we could do it all over again!

We postponed our wedding twice due to covid, but were so glad we waited two extra years because it was the best day ever. The hotel changed our date twice for us. We’ll never forget it and it was just what we needed to lift everyone’s spirits. The weather was perfect and we were lucky enough to get married on the beach, taking a paddle in the sea straight after the ceremony. My decorating demands were a bit random, but nothing phased the team. Any problems we had were dealt with professionally. So many of our guests said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. My husband and I went for a dip in the sea before it got too dark and the staff were on hand with dressing gowns for us. Thanks in particular to the amazing Ria and Maxine. Now to work on the hubby to take me back to Carbis Bay year after year 😜

Carbis Bay was the first venue we viewed for our wedding day & we made the decision then & there that Carbis Bay was the place we wanted to get married. The location as well as the venue is absolutely stunning.

We got married in the Ocean Venue, so all of our guests had the most picturesque view of the beach throughout the ceremony & Wedding Breakfast.

The venue were extremely professional & have events running like clockwork. We spent time with the very friendly events co-ordinators beforehand so they knew exactly what we wanted & they made sure to accommodate this. I also really liked the fact that they encouraged us to do things exactly how we wanted rather than how others do it (e.g., we split the speeches between courses etc).

The team on the day were so friendly to us and all of our guests, everyone mentioned how fun the bar staff were as well as how organised everything was (which we can only credit the venue for, particularly Ria who helped us organise the special day).

It was everything we had hoped for, we cannot recommend enough, we have also stayed many times since both in the hotel as well as the beach lodges and in my opinion it truly is the best venue in Cornwall.

Our day at Carbis Bay Hotel was perfect. Everything ran smoothly and the team catered for everything we needed. On the run up to the day the staff were on hand to answer my many questions and to provide reassurance when needed, although i would advise that you confirm one point of contact to avoid having to re-explain details each time you call.
We had the best day of our lives and our guests loved it (they particularly loved the amazing food!).

My partner and I recently had our wedding here and honestly it was the best thing we ever did! The wedding venues are breathtaking, especially the Beach Hut where we had ours. The staff are just simply incredible, all on hand to assist with anything and everything. They are soo courteous and friendly it's just so easy and lovely! Each and everyone especially Ria from the events team went above and beyond to create the most beautiful wedding for us. Couldn't recommend enough!

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at the Wedding Hut in June 2023. It was the most beautiful day and everything was simply perfect. The events team go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. From the very start of the day, to the evening party…just amazing. Our guests loved the food and were blown away by the views of the beach. It really is a little piece of heaven.

We could not have wished for a more stunning venue and location for our wedding! We chose to have an autumn wedding which can be a little risky weather wise, but the rain held off and we had the most beautiful candlelit wedding breakfast overlooking the ocean. Ria and the team were so thorough and organised which put me at complete ease on the day, and they honestly couldn't have done more for us from adjusting lighting/music, coordinating guests, laying out table decorations exactly how I wanted, to being on hand at all times for any queries or requests- they were all amazing. The food was also fantastic! Ourselves and our guests were so overcome with the beauty of Carbis Bay and had the most joyous, magical day. Thank you so much to the wedding team for making our day so special, we cannot wait to come back for our anniversary!

From the moment we were put in touch with the wedding events team we were thoroughly looked after and most importantly in a calm professional manner.
Ria & Maxine especially couldn't have been more accommodating with regular contact from Ria for many months - she really is a wonderful person. Then in the lodges Clare with her assistance throughout our stay. The food in Ugly Butterfly and the staff simply amazing, fun and professional. The staff at our beach bbq great too. We were spoilt throughout! Everything went to plan, looked beautiful, no one waited for anything on the day, dj and fireworks provided were also perfect. We had the most magical day Thank you.
