Wedding Venues in Cardiff

We were looking for a small, intimate reception as there were only 25 of us all together. As the Registry Office in Cardiff is currently closed, our wedding was held at Insole Court. Porro is walking distance, and this was in fact our mode of transport to get there - we were lucky the first sunny dry day in a very wet January. Our whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. The Porro team (led by Karolina) could not have been more helpful. Liaising with us and nothing was too much bother. We decided on the set-lunch menu with tweaks. Our guests loved the food, drink, atmosphere, vibe and the service was outstanding. Some of our guests work in hospitality and this is what they commented on. It truly was a happy and memorable day for us - and Porro certainly contributed to it. We cannot recommend highly enough.

Idyllic setting and overall an excellent place to hold a wedding reception, all that you could ask for and expect were provided on the all important day. The owner and staff were extremely helpful from day one of the preparation to the final day. Nothing was left to chance.

The village hotel boasts friendly staff and always catered to my every need they helped make our special day memorable without embarrasing or untimely incidents. The food was excellent and overall fantstic value for money were even planning to go there for our first wedding anniversary!
