Carew Castle is a historic venue located in Pembrokeshire, where couples can enjoy a romantic wedding celebration with friends and loved ones. The castle's rich history spans over 2,000 years, and the property features a restored tidal mill and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The castle has been uninhabited since the late 17th century and is often referred to as 'the romantic ruin', having been painted by the famous landscape painter, traveller, and poet, JMW Turner. In 2022 the venue became licenced for civil ceremonies and hosted its first Wedding since records began.

Facilities and Capacity

Carew Castle is a ceremony only venue offering canapes and drinks, but does not host receptions. There are several rooms available for civil ceremonies, as well as breathtaking and atmospheric outdoor areas with views across the Millpond to the Tidal Mill. The property can accommodate indoor weddings for up to 100 guests, and the team can offer outdoor ceremonies on the magnificent grounds for larger weddings. After the ceremony, couples can capture memories that will last a lifetime with photographs taken among the castle's superb mix of Medieval, Tudor and Elizabethan architecture. When the photographers have done their thing, Nest Tearoom can provide drinks and canapes or grazing platters in the Castle Courtyard or Walled Garden.
