I fell in love with the fleece when I first walked in. It gave cosy but modern vibes and I couldn’t fault it. There is a wedding coordinator who has regular meeting to ensure your day is perfect. Very good value for money.

We got married at Drybeck in September 2022 and I can’t think of a more perfect place. It’s just stunning. Barn for food and indoor music/ dancing, outdoor stage for more music, lots of quirky accommodation; yurts gypsy caravans etc (look at the pictures on their website!) all do so beautifully! Also option for bell tents and loads of space for guests who want to camp / van sleep. Not too far from other local accommodation too. Steve the owner and crew were outstanding. Couldn’t fault anything. Steve also did our ceremony which was just lovely, it was his first ceremony and he smashed it, personal, funny, heart warming. He also ran the bar for us as well as lots of other help behind and in front of the scenes. Outdoor ceremony with the sound of the river Eden babbling in the background and a kingfisher flashing around, really couldn’t ask for anything more. Solar panels, eco toilets, hot tubs all added to the loveliness. They went above and beyond to make our day so special. If you’re thinking of getting married here, look no further this is a total gem.

Katherine and the team really couldn't do enough for us, they went above and beyond for us, not just on the day of the wedding but also leading up to it. If we had any questions, Katherine was very quick to help. Katherine is just an absolute credit to her self and to skitby, she really can't do enough for you, she just loves what she does and enjoys helping couples have the most perfect unforgettable day. She made the place look fantastic with our decorations ( not that skitby needs it, as it just such a beautiful venue). And did I mention the food, it is out of this world. We had the most perfect special day and night and can't thank the team enough, especially Katherine, the serive is just outstanding

We got married at Hidden River in July of this year and it turns out the cliche is true - best day ever! What was so great was that it felt like a whole weekend celebration because we had our people staying in all of the cabins and house - happiness everywhere we went. The food was brilliant - Tom really listened to what we wanted and Gillian went out of her way to make sure everything ran smoothly - we really can't thank them enough.

We had our wedding at the Hallmark 31/10/15 Highly recommended very helpful from day of booking to the actual day very informative and always on hand for any queries or concerns . On the day nothing was a too much trouble we were looked after to the highest level and the food was excellent !

Had our wedding there 2 weeks ago (23rd July 2005) and I couldnt fault the place and the staff - they were absolutely Fab the whole day and made sure the day ran without any hitches. The food gorgeous, staff polite, stunning views and grounds, Bedrooms lovely - they really did make you feel special and nothing was too much hassle. I definitely recommend! Katherine and David xx
