We cannot find the words to describe how wonderful our wedding weekend at Castello di Titignano was, but we’ll try our best. The venue: The site itself is magical – beautifully located up in the Umbrian hills, you’ll find this gem that can only truly be experienced in person. For us, it was important that everyone could stay in one place and not have to travel between accommodations, the church, etc., during the wedding weekend. Since we had booked the entire Castello for the weekend, all our wedding guests stayed on-site, which allowed everyone to quickly get to know each other and created a very intimate, family-like atmosphere. The buildings themselves are stunningly beautiful and offer the perfect rustic Italian feel, with many different spaces to enjoy throughout the weekend. The view: The view speaks for itself – but must be experienced live – and provides the perfect backdrop. The elevated location also ensures a pleasant temperature, even in summer. The fact that you overlook the Castello’s own vineyards makes the experience even more personal. The food: The food is amazing and generous from start to finish. We chose to have a food truck on Friday, which created a lovely, relaxed atmosphere as our guests mingled over a casual dinner. On the wedding day itself, we started with a buffet and mingling before dinner, which all our guests have praised and talked about – it was so generous and beautifully presented. For the dinner, we had quite a few requests, and the Castello team was incredibly helpful and service-minded in accommodating them. We were absolutely delighted with all the food – generous, well-prepared Italian cuisine at its best! The wine: The fact that the Castello produces its own wine is a bonus, making the experience feel even more exclusive and personal. The wines are incredibly good, and we (along with many of our guests) chose to bring some home after the wedding. Now, every sip takes us back to the wedding weekend! The service: The staff is incredibly professional and accommodating! We had such a wonderful experience with the service both before and during the wedding weekend. Friendly, caring, available, clear, and genuine from start to finish. Fiorenza, who helped us coordinate everything, is amazing and easy to communicate with, and the rest of the Castello team was incredibly kind and helpful. Thanks to them, the weekend went smoothly, and we could focus on each other and our guests. What more is there to say... We had a fantastic experience, and we couldn’t have wished for a better wedding venue.

The castle was the perfect wedding venue, with stunning spaces inside and outside, on multiple levels, each beautifully furnished. This flexibility allowed us to plan our day seamlessly, regardless of the weather or occasion. We held our ceremony in the gardens, enjoyed an aperitif in the courtyard, hosted a Chinese tea ceremony in a lower garden area, and ended with a dinner in a gorgeous grassy spot overlooking the castle - every setting felt magical. Andrea, our wedding coordinator, was incredible. He ensured that everything was set up perfectly and coordinated seamlessly with the other vendors. His communication was impeccable – he always responded promptly to my messages and questions. The castle staff was also very accommodating with our timeline and offered a variety of furniture and decor we could rent, making everything easy and cohesive. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect location for our wedding. It was everything we dreamed of and more. Thank you so much to all involved! We got married in Borgo Petroro in September 2024. We were satisfied in all aspects. First of all, the place is wonderful and until you get there personally it is hard to imagine its beauty: everything is very well cared for in every detail. All the staff were very professional and careful with our requests, even coming to satisfy us at the last minute with weather-related changes of schedule. Another thing we really appreciated was the food: everything was really delicious and in the right proportions. All our guests confirmed our feelings. We have already booked for next year's anniversary! :)

We celebrated our wedding at Il Castello di San Ruffino in September 2024, and it was truly unforgettable from start to finish! Our three-day celebration included a pizza party, the wedding day, and a pool party to close out the weekend. Pierluigi and his team were attentive, accommodating, and truly invested in making our wedding weekend perfect. From listening to our vision to recommending vendors, they took our ideas and elevated them with their expertise. Special thanks to Roberto, who flawlessly coordinated each event over the weekend, ensuring everything went smoothly. His professionalism and warmth made us feel completely at ease, knowing every moment was taken care of. We also want to give a shoutout to Laura and Carlotta at reception, who went above and beyond to make us, and our guests feel like royalty. From the bistro to the bar, the service was impeccable, always delivered with a smile and warmth. The bistro provided incredible meals throughout the weekend, from the wedding-day to late-night snacks - the truffle risotto was a highlight of the weekend! All 60 of our guests stayed at the venue, and each of them loved their rooms and the beautiful setting. With such a gorgeous backdrop and helpful staff, everyone left with nothing but good memories and compliments. If you’re looking for an intimate wedding venue where the setting, service, and staff all come together seamlessly, we couldn’t recommend Il Castello di San Ruffino more!

We got married in CDM in September 2024 and honestly had the best few days of our lives! Everything was amazing, from the set up of venue for all three days (we had a welcome dinner the night before, the wedding day itself and also a pizza party the following day), the decorations, the music, the food and wine, etc. All of our guests also commented on how amazing the few days were and that is definitely thanks to the experience and professionalism of the team in CDM, who made sure that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The owner Giuseppe, and his team (notably Eva & Ilaria in particular) are truly one of a kind! The attitude of this venue is that when you book it, you are the "Lords / Ladies of the Castello" and it is completely true! There is no end to the flexibility of the setups or the customisation of any aspect of the wedding (if you want a pink elephant, it can probably be done). It is a very unique event space that has been created here and we love absolutely everything about it.

The magic starts with the outstanding quality, care, and professionalism of Pasquale, the proprietor, and his team. From the start, Torre in Pietra provided excellent service and a spectacular setting for a dream wedding rooted in our family's Italian heritage. Since we were planning the wedding from the U.S., we trusted in Pasquale to guide us every step of the way. Pasquale and his team were always kind and accessible. Pasquale offered unparalleled guidance and service. From the stunning setting and focus on every detail, to the five-star dining experience and elegance throughout, Torre in Pietra created a magnificent wedding celebration that will always be remembered. The exceptional details included an elegant cocktail hour outdoors, a five-course customized dinner menu, dessert on the rooftop with fireworks, cigar bar, and liquors, pastries and sweet treats from the region. The location is convenient to the Naples airport and on-site lodging makes overnight accommodations easy for travelers. Torre in Pietra is in Pietradifusi, a beautiful village in the province of Avellino, which is located in the Campania region. The venue is near local wine vineyards and sites such as Mount Vesuvius, Pompei, Salerno and Benevento, which further extends the wedding celebration with day trips and other special events.

We brought 55 people from Northern Ireland to Sorgnano for a full week, Monday-Friday, with the wedding on the Wednesday. To say it was perfect would be an understatement. Every single guest and family member loved their accommodation. Everyone had more than enough to do and boredom was never an issue, with the beautiful grounds being explored, activities like wine tasting taking place and the pool being well utilised. The castle itself is the most incredible location for a wedding, regardless of the weather, and the food is to die for. When we went for our menu tasting back in April my eyes literally watered when I tasted the sliced angus. Aside from the wedding food, the breakfast, lunch and the buffet dinner (we requested this) were incredible and the portions were huge, nobody was ever left wanting. In terms of value for money I think you would struggle to find a better location. Not only was it great value for my wife and I for the wedding, our friends and family felt it was great value for what they spent on drinks and meals throughout the stay. Marco and his staff were wonderful hosts and made us and our guests feel at home the entire time. I can't thank them all enough and my wife and I will never forget our wedding week.

We would give 5 stars 100 times over. Amazing wedding venue and staff! We had been planning this wedding since pre-Covid. Barbara and Vittorio have been so helpful throughout and kept us at ease the whole way through. They helped deliver to us and our guests a celebration of a lifetime. Guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed themselves and we can’t wait to come back for our anniversary!
