Having both grown up in the area and spending most of our time on or near the water, we knew this was the place. We got married at Arundel Town Hall and held our reception at the Chichester Yacht club.
Tom and the team were great throughout. From the beginning Tom was very accommodating and did everything in his power to make everything happen the way we wanted it to. We had several meetings in advance to plan the day which definitely took the stress out of it, especially choosing the napkins!

The whole day ran very smoothly, with the day beforehand to set it up. The three course meal was brilliant and everyone loved it. The weather was ideal and we were able to spend a lot of time outside getting some memorable snaps. In the evening we had a 9 piece band play into the night.
We would highly recommend the yacht club as a venue and would not change anything about the day. It may have been the Royal Wedding, but we had one of our own! Thank you to Tom and the team!

After experiencing my sisters wedding day at CYC 4 years ago, I knew exactly where I wanted to get married! CYC is a magical venue for me anyway as I grew up sailing in the harbour, but I couldn’t have imagined what a fantastic backdrop it had to our day! Tom, who helps to plan your day was constantly in touch with us even over an 18 month period of planning and on the day had every single thing in hand. He is also super flexible and tolerated my plans to try and make my day different to my sisters. All of our guests raved about the food and the staff were so attentive and brilliant in the set up and the clear up. I think the biggest compliment we had on the day about CYC is how unique it is as a venue. Our photos were amazing and we were so happy with the whole experience . Thank you to Tom and the CYC team!

An amazing venue, with gorgeous scenery surrounding the location made Chichester Yacht Club the obvious choice for us when we were looking for our wedding reception venue. Tom's helpfulness and his obvious wish to be as flexible as possible to make the day ours, was clear from our first meeting - helping us to make the decision to let CYC host us. We felt there were no strict boundaries to adhere to, resulting in the whole day feeling very personal. From the way we were able to add certain luxuries such as external chairs and glassware, through to Tom's help in organising a grand arrival on a member's yacht for us as a couple! Throughout the build up to the big day, Tom was well organised helping us to feel very confident in his hands. On the day itself, he was very discreet yet making sure everything ran so smoothly. He has superb attention to detail. The food from the kitchen team was exquisite and served very efficiently too. Everyone on the day kept mentioning what a beautiful venue it was, and close family after the event mentioned the great service; themselves having contact with Tom and the club for various reasons up to and during the proceedings. All in all we could not have wished for a better day, and thank Tom and the club for making this happen.

We chose Chichester Yacht Club for the stunning views of the harbour which provided a magical backdrop to our wedding day. Tom arranged for the ceremony to be held by the water's edge, with drinks and canapés on the lawn. The guests then moved upstairs to the function room which has a large balcony and glass wall, meaning it is a unique and special place to get married.

Even if the weather is a bit iffy - which it was on our day - the venue easily accommodated our 120 guests when there was a few short showers to shelter from. It only added to the drama of the day looking out over the harbour.

A real bonus is CYC's friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Not what I was expecting to be honest from a member's club - it really is a hidden gem on the South Coast and we would recommend it to anyone for their wedding day.

Tom goes out of his way to make you feel special. He helped us with several additional requests, such as sourcing alternative chairs for the room, sharing salads for our menu, recommending wines, AV for our ceremony and letting us decorate the space the day before.

From the moment we stepped into Chichester Yacht Club there team where very welcoming, Tom listened to everything we wanted and did his very best to make it happen. The views and outside space by the water are just lovely, we had our photos taken there and also on a bridge tucked away. The room upstairs has a warm feeling and our ceremony went smoothly and the team made sure of that. We had a buffet meal which Tom happily adapted for us, everyone commented on how tasty everything was. We opted for a disco in the evening recommend by Tom and he was great, had people up dancing he also gave the option of choosing songs.
From start to finish our wedding planning went smoothly and Tom keeps in contact regularly with updates or answering our questions. I would highly recommend Chichester yacht club, welcoming and warm venue. We will defiantly be using the venue in the future.

The first thing we needed to do was to find a venue. We spent time visiting numerous venues in and around Chichester, but as soon as we visited Chichester Yacht Club we knew it was the place for us.
Tom and Emily were incredible. It was really exciting as we were to be the first Service that would be held at the venue although they were well used to holding receptions.
They listened to exactly what we wanted, supported us in finding decorators for the venue, cakes, flowers and a DJ. They co-ordinated everything making it possible for us to source and arrange everything in time.
The day itself was perfect. Guests were met with drinks by the water and everything looked just as I dreamed it would do. The service was held on the upper deck under a flower decorated arch with the water as our back drop. Very beautiful and very moving. Everything ran like clockwork under Toms supervision.
We then moved outside for drinks, canapes and photographs. The options for photographs were endless. On the pontoons out in the sea. Over secluded bridges hidden away and huge group shots on the upper balcony deck of the venue. The light by the water made the pictures magical.
We then went back inside for the Wedding Breakfast – another seamless transition. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was delicious. Catering for everyone from children upwards, including a number of dietary needs very smoothly.
We then upped the pace to a DJ and shot bar. The upper deck balcony and gardens were perfect for people to wander around or simply sit and admire the superb view and sunset.
I would not change anything about our wedding day. Fantastic venue, great organisation and excellent value for money.

We stumbled across CYC after we had been let down elsewhere and from the moment we stepped inside, saw the facilities and views we knew it was the right venue for us. Tom the Hospitality Manager was very informative and realistic, he didn’t promise anything he couldn’t deliver & his staff from the outset were warm and helpful, we literally booked it there and then! After every meeting Tom followed up with an email to ensure he understood our requirements etc. The Wedding Breakfast choices are extensive; we opted away from their standard evening buffet menu & went for a Mexican themed menu. I requested that the Nachos be served on large platters, loaded high, with the accompaniments so they looked vibrant and indulgent and served to the individual tables. Tom did not disappoint, he went the extra mile and even hired in large platters to achieve this…….ALL the food was to die for. We had booked The Secret Singers, they pretend to be waiters and break out into a set just after the deserts. Only Simon, myself & Tom knew about this, Tom kept this from his staff who just thought he had hired in extra staff until they started to sing! We felt at ease through the whole process, CYC is a stunning venue, with truly amazing staff who contributed to making our wedding so beautifully special and wonderfully perfect. It brings a tear to my eye every time I think of our wedding. I cannot recommend the CYC enough, superb location, amazing food and professional courteous staff.

We married in Barbados in June and wanted to have a wedding celebration party for family and friends upon return home. After looking at various venues, the Chichester Yacht Club stood out as our number one choice by a country mile. The location and setting is simply amazing with outstanding views of the Chichester Marina, Harbour and South Downs. The atmosphere of the club building is very friendly and warm and the staff are amazing. From our initial contact with Tom Dewey (Events Manager) to the evening itself we were extremely happy. Tom did a first class job ensuring every detail of the planning was thought of and followed through. His excellent experience was evident at every stage allowing us to relax in the knowledge we were in great hands. Nothing was to much trouble. On the evening itself everything was exactly as we had hoped for or even better. From room set up to dinner service (excellent food) to DJ to bar staff and beyond. It was all simply first class and appreciated by all our guests. We know this as we had a lot of very positive feedback. Without hesitation we highly recommend the Chichester Yacht Club for any celebration event and especially Wedding celebrations. Thank you Chichester Yacht Club for making our Wedding Celebration Party such a success!!

We got married on 28th April 2018. We had our ceremony at a local church in Birdham then our reception at the beautiful venue of Chichester Yacht Club.

As any bride/groom will know the build up to the big day can be slightly stressful!! Chichester Yacht Club’s Hospitality manager - Tom - helped us so much in easing that stress! He arranged meetings with us well in advance of the big day and every meeting was very pleasant and thorough. Tom always listened to exactly what we wanted and went above and beyond to make our day special.

From matching napkins to a well run bar, the room was absolutely stunning and all of our guests commented on what an amazing venue it is!

The whole top floor of the venue was booked out for us the day before and after the wedding so we could set up any personal touches the day before and collect our things the day after.

The food was excellent, we had a 3 course meal for our wedding breakfast (with a veggie option) and a great selection buffet in the evening. A lot of our guests commented how tasty the food was!

We were lucky enough that the rain held off for us, and we had some gorgeous photos on the veranda.

We would highly recommend to anyone to have their wedding reception at Chichester Yacht Club. They are so welcoming and organised and for us, the perfect wedding reception venue.
