Childerley Long Barn, built in the 19th century is rich in history and character. Located just 20 minutes from historic Cambridge, it sits in the beautiful grounds and gardens of Childerley Hall which is a working farm.

Childerley provides you with exclusive use on the day and allows you access the day before to add your own touches, ensuring you’re not rushing around on the morning of your wedding.

Capacity:

The Long Barn provides separate spaces for wedding ceremonies and reception, usually accommodating anything from 60 to 180 guests, with 80 - 120 being our average. The Long barn can also be transformed into an intimate space for smaller numbers, but it is also a fantastic space for larger numbers, with the absolute maximum being 320.

The Long Barn and the adjacent outside courtyard offer a fabulous informal setting for weddings with its stunning versatile space. There is also the additional option of using the romantic gardens for your ceremony, reception drinks or for magical photo opportunities.

We are a small, dedicated and experienced team, and are on hand to offer advice and support to help you realise your special day.

Good food and drink are essential elements of any wedding. We work with a variety of excellent catering partners, each of whom can offer a variety of bespoke menus. They offer a superb front of house service, ensuring your day runs as smoothly as possible. We also recognise that on some occasions a specific type of cuisine is required and in such cases we would be happy to discuss the option of outside catering.

We have good availability in 2024 and beyond, and have some availability in autumn/winter 2023. So do get in touch and we can send more information and arrange a viewing.
