We cannot thank China fleet and especially Julie enough for hosting our special wedding day!

The team went above and beyond to ensure our day was exactly what we wanted. They kept every magical idea we had and made it even more special. They overcame the weather when it decided not to play ball and ensured we felt relaxed the whole day! We had many chilled planning sessions and lots of laughs which made the whole experience less stressful than anticipated.

The first time we met Julie was a week after my beloved mum passed and the wedding day was on her year anniversary. Julie and her team ensured my mum was remembered as well as making our day extra special.

We both highly recommend china fleet! The food was Delicious, the service top notch and the accommodation to die for. The spa the next day was a true treat! China fleet is truly a wedding venue to make your day specially and magically yours. Thank you china fleet, Julie and the team!

We had such a lovely wedding day and reception at China fleet.
It was everything we wanted and more!
We booked to have the afternoon tea package and it was perfect, the ceremony room was beautiful and the reception where we had the afternoon tea looked so lovely and was exactly how we wanted it.
Both julie and Terrie were brilliant and the communication was good throughout.
We also loved that our friends and family were able to stay in the apartments on the wedding night and i really enjoyed a great night with friends the night before the wedding using the golf and spa facilities!.
Also staying in the honeymoon suite for 2 nights was a real treat!
It was real value for money for what we got and was just what we were looking for and i would highly recommend getting married at china fleet!!

China fleet were amazing from start to finish. They were always available for a chat or to meet with us. Everything we wanted was sorted. The venue looked beautiful. The food was amazing the staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We felt like princesses before during and after our special day. Truly the best day of our lives. Start to finish this was the easiest process for us. The organisation was spot on and the day was seamless. Food was delicious nothing to complain or grumble about. Perfect day!

The China Fleet Country Club did such an oustanding job for our wedding. I've higlighted a few reasons why I rate them so highly.

1) Support During Covid - We booked the China Fleet for our wedding in March 2020 just before the pandemic hit for 31st July 2021 which we ended up having to postpone. The China Fleet were super accomodating and changing dates was easy and straightforward. Exactly the flexability we needed as our guest of honour was high risk and we didn't want to go ahead if they could not attend.

2) Accessibility & Inclussion - The reason we chose the venue was because of the accessibility for our guest of honour (my partners blind Grandmother). It was easy to get to from their house, the ceremony room was on the ground floor as was the Farmhouse Suite where we were after the ceremony and for the evening turn around. There was a lift up to the Atlantic Suite where the Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception were. The team on the day were so helpful and accomodating towards her and also towards any dieatry requirements (we had a fair few!).

3) Reliable Vendor Recomendations - We live in London and as mentioned booked a venue in Cornwall for the guest of honour. This meant that we were 5 hours away from any local wedding vendors. As you can imagine this made figuring out who was best to use a little stressful. Lauren was able to recommend us a florist and photographer who both did such an amazing job and have a great partnership with the venue. We also attended the wedding fair in October 2021 at the China Fleet and found an amazing singer for our Canapes in the Farmhouse Suite.

4) Organisation - Both Lauren and Julie were responsive to emails and had a lot of patience for my hundreds of questions. We had a meeting with Julie a few months prior to the wedding and she blew me away with how organised she was and her attention to detail. I left the meeting with a huge amount of confidence that they would ensure the day went as smoothly as possible.

5) Compassion & Support - Planning a Wedding is stressful and the week of I was feeling very anxious. Both Julie and Lauren were very compassionate and supportive whenever I would get stressed out.

Overall I think that they did an amazing job for our wedding. The China Fleet is a very special venue with staff that have done enough Weddings to have such a well organised process but still manage to make your day feel special.

Our wedding day exceeded our expectations. From the initial discussions down to the detailed planning arrangements, nothing was a problem for the China Fleet team. This took the stress away from the wedding party. They were amazing!

Whilst we must give high praise to Julie and Kevin who went above and beyond to make our day special, the whole team were incredible and nothing was too much trouble.

The wedding breakfast itself was of a very high standard with the attention to detail being perfect.

The accommodation for our 30+ weekend guests was luxurious and spacious with all guests making positive comments, and with the venue providing many activities for our guests to relax and unwind over the weekend, they were a happy bunch.

Wow is all I can say about China Fleet. We were completely blown away by the way we and our guests were treated in our special day. When I saw our reception room I was speechless, I have never seen or expected this see such a beautiful room. The staff were just amazing from start to finish and we will never be able to thank them enough. Our day was perfect thanks to all at China Fleet, no complaints what so ever, food was gorgeous, venue stunning, just perfect!!!

What a day. China fleet were amazing and we wanted for nothing all day, as well as being affordable, we were taken care of as soon as we arrived at the venue and Julie and her amazing team took care of everything else. Me and Kas have never felt so looked after and we felt so reassured by the team that things were taken care of but also how we had wanted our special day to be.

Every single staff member at the China Fleet went above and beyond to make our special day amazing. Not only did they take the hassle out of everything, they even suggested more work for themselves to ensure that neither us, nor our guests, had a single thing to worry about. And they did all of this and more with smiles on their faces. Genuine smiles that really emphasised how much they truly love their job. We even had friends that decided they wanted to get married there too as the service and every little detail was so perfect. Can't fault them and can't thank them enough. They made certain our day was perfect.

From Day 1 Julie Monk has been the most incredible "right hand woman" I know when you book a wedding anywhere that you book a whole host of staff to look after you, but at China Fleet you really do book the best in Julie & Kevin!
Our day was was absolutely amazing! The whole set up & running of the entire wedding was done with so much care & precision, they really do care about their wedding couples, I genuinely believe that, which is why everything is perfect down to the placement of table confetti!
Food was beautiful, the service of the waiting staff was commented on by so many people, everyone was served at the same time, no waiting around, always a topped of glass of wine for you. Bar staff were fab, no long queues for the entire evening, quick service & always with the best customer service. Kevin...every bride needs 1! From wrapping me up in a fur throw, to fanning out my veil in the middle of the golf course & quite literally running around for me all day...a million thank yous.
The rooms are beautiful, the refurb has resulted in really modern, bright, gorgeous rooms, which by the way are massive & great for a big group to get ready in, the bridal suite is so lovely & waking up in there was the nicest end to what was the best day of my life.
I really am going to miss Julie so much, she has been with me the past 18 months & she really did give me the most special day ever.
My advice to anyone contemplating their wedding here is this: Do not hesitate, they will give you a wedding beyond every expectation. x

China fleet made our experience of getting married unforgettable. From the planning to the day itself was all done very professionally. Julie helped us plan our big day and Kevin looked after everything on the day, both were very good and knew what to do and when to do it. Would recommend the China fleet to anyone.
