City Hall, located in West Yorkshire, England, is a historic wedding venue. This Bradford-based property dates back to the 19th century and is a grade I listed building. Originally, it was designed in an imposing Venetian Gothic style but visitors today will also notice Italian and French-influenced additions.

Facilities and Capacity

Weddings at City Hall can be held in the Marriage Room on the ground floor, in addition to other facilities throughout. Civil ceremonies can be held in The Council Chamber. This stately setting can accommodate up to 100 people in tiered seating, with standing space available for an additional 30. A vaulted, decorative ceiling maintains a sense of spaciousness while also enhancing the acoustics. In addition, the room includes the Ceremonial Staircase which is ideal for wedding photos. Ceremonies can also be held in the Old Law Court, which seats up to 60 people and has had multiple TV appearances. The venue houses two reception rooms, which are connected through a dividing internal door. They're well-suited to welcome drinks and sit beside the Banqueting Hall. The Banqueting Hall features soaring ceilings, carpeted floors, and wood-panelled walls. It can seat up to 110 guests, or 65 in a horseshoe-style layout. More intimate celebrations can be held in the Ernest Saville Room, which comfortably accommodates up to 60 people. This space features wood panelling and lots of natural light.

Food for celebrations at City Hall is taken care of by the in-house catering team, with menus previously being enjoyed by royalty. Halal dishes are also available, in addition to other cuisines on request. Couples can choose between a variety of setups, including buffets or family-style service. A traditional plated meal is also available. Canapés and drinks are provided for couples who have envisioned a more informal wedding breakfast.
