We truly had the wedding weekend of our dreams and it's all thanks to Fran, Jonathan and their incredible staff. We wanted a relaxed, fun filled weekend with family and friends, in a beautiful setting, with great food, wine l, and a lively party to end the night - and they delivered it all perfectly. We kicked things off on Friday evening with an informal gathering. Fran prepared a delightful Mediterranean feast while Jonathan handled the bar and entertainment. It was the perfect warm up, allowing people to get to know each other and reunite before the big day. Our wedding day itself was flawless. Breakfast was a feast, and our guests were looked after with great care. We got married at St Helens in Waddington, and upon returning to the venue, Fran and Jonathan once agatook care of everything seamlessly. We hired our own caterers, who were easily accommodated in The Red Pump kitchen, allowing us to have the food exactly as we wanted. For music, we indulged - a solo artist performed when we arrived from.vhuech, followed by a band and disco in the evening. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how perfect everything was, how well they were taken care of, and how stunning the venue and accommodation were. It truly was an unforgettable weekend!

We got married at Hobbit Hill on the 25.11.23 and from the day we booked to the week after the wedding it was faultless. Nothing was too much trouble, all our questions were answered and they were so helpful. The day before the wedding we went to set up and everyone was so welcoming and lovely. The day of the wedding we had Fiona to guide and help us through the day. She was AMAZING. The actual venue itself is immaculate and so so beautiful. The new part - The Shire - is breathtaking and I would definitely recommend paying the extra to stay in there. Thank you so much to everyone at Hobbit Hill… you made our dreams come true!

Wow! Where to even begin, our day was phenomenal and one we certainly won’t forget!

If you’re thinking about booking Browsholme, do it - you won’t regret it! We were so well looked after and supported from start to finish. They had lots of pearls of wisdom to share and suppliers to recommend too. The day itself ran incredibly smoothly, even when the area had a power cut in the evening - the team filled the venue with candles and made sure our guests were looked after while they worked behind the scenes! It was a truly magical day, and thank you so much!

Our wedding was perfect because The Spread Eagle staff provided exactly what we had envisaged. Leah, Events Manager, guided our choices along the way. Obviously, we had chosen the venue because the bedrooms and public rooms provided the atmosphere we required but the professionalism and appropriate friendliness of the staff and the quality of the wedding food were an unknown factor. They could not be faulted! We have received thank you cards from all our guests complimenting the venue and saying, " it was the warmest, most enjoyable wedding they have ever attended!"

We had the most perfect day. Andrea, Emma and the team were amazing! Can’t speak highly enough of them. The setting is picturesque. Canon Roger Smith, Wendy and Adrian are lovely and helped make our day so special.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did for us on our special day. You all worked tirelessly to help us with our planning. All our guests had the most fantastic day and we have had so many compliments about the venue. We couldn't be more proud to have picked Holmes Mill!

Wow... What a truly stunning & unique venue in a beautiful setting. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Henry, Ruth, James & all of the staff are absolutely wonderful - so friendly & helpful. All queries in the run up to the day are answered straight away and on the day itself they cannot do enough to help out. The day ran so smoothly and there was a truly relaxed atmosphere which allowed us to enjoy our day - this was all thanks to them. The Barn is beautiful both indoors and out - in fact it tipped it down for most of our day but that did not matter as the inside is just as great. We had the best day of our lives and I really don't know why anybody would consider any other venue in Lancashire

In less than a year since the idea was first envisaged, the place has been transformed into the most romantic, magical setting where memories will truly be made. And it's not just about the special day but a whole week long experience. I don't know anywhere else that offers so much. From a wedding reception by your own private river with the most gorgeous little wooden bridge to the luxury and romance of Riverside House. With so many hidden treasures you'll need the complete week to discover all this venue has to offer. I absolutely love it.

Just got back home after my sons wedding reception at this truly superb place. From beginning to end the staff were brilliant, warm and friendly. Warm, comfortable and very classy. Great attention to detail. Nothing too much trouble. The hall is simply stunning in every way. Wow, was it all a dream!! Thank you Eaves Hall.
