Featuring a dedicated bar, music system, and projector screen, the private basement is available for intimate gatherings of up to 80 people. Alternatively, you can hire out the whole venue to accommodate 250 guests.

Perfect wedding!
From the initial planning stages with Zac, Robert and Cara at ULG and then with Max and Arthur at Coin Laundry itself we were in expert hands, and they were always super helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions. All of the venue staff were wonderful, both the day before when we dropped off our various decor etc, and with all the prep and service on the day itself - so welcoming and accommodating. The whole space works perfectly for a reception and is so lovely already it hardly needs any additional touches for hosting a wedding.
The food and drinks were all amazing: we had canapes, starters, and two sharing mains alongside the vegetarian/vegan option, plus some evening buffet food. Everything was delicious and we have had rave reviews from our guests.
We also booked ULG’s inhouse DJ for our evening reception and Oscar was just brilliant, the dancefloor was full all night and we didn’t want the party to end.
I’d wholeheartedly recommend Coin Laundry for anyone looking for a London wedding reception, we wish we could do it all again!

Local London wedding with Islington Charm
For some of our guests this was their first experience of a Western wedding and they thoroughly enjoyed it. One guest said she felt like she was in Harry Potter with the cosy dinner setting, the candles and flowers. All the vegetarians loved their meals and we especially loved our dessert. The dance floor was so much fun in the basement whilst the evening food was a hit with our evening guests upstairs, it was the local London wedding we really wanted to throw. Thank you for all your clear communication throughout the run up to the event and for your can do attitudes and smiles on the day, it made us feel so looked after and relaxed. You really looked after us so we could could relax and enjoy the event too.
Perfect Wedding Venue!
The space itself is perfect for a wedding reception, with plenty of space for drinks & canapés, dinner, and dancing later in the evening. You are able to decorate and add your own personal touches, which was a big plus. Every single one of our guests said it was one of the best (and most unique!) wedding spaces they've seen. All of the food was amazing, with lots of options for canapés, starters, mains and late night food.
On the wedding day, the team working were phenomenal, and truly made our day perfect.
Amazing - You won't be disappointed
The space itself is gorgeous and very spacious. I had circa 45-50 people at my event and could have comfortably had many more, or much less. There were fairy lights and tech (projector, mic's, speakers, etc) provided as well, and everytyhing was set up before we arrived.
The service itself was a real highlight. Every single member of staff we dealt with was so lovely and helpful. We had someone who was soley workng behind our own bar all evening, and they were brilliant.
A selection of small plates was also available, which were delicious, and there was no hold ups on food. Everything was seamless.
I would recommend Coin Laundry to anyone looking to book a space for an event of any kind. It's really special and I will certainly be back.
Absolutely incredible wedding reception!!
Incredible day and amazing team
The team at coin laundry were so lovely and worked so hard. Everyone was so on it, I didn’t have to ask for anything to happen, yet everything flowed as planned and without a hitch.
We really appreciate all of the hard work that went into planning the day with Zac and Cara and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue and team for our wedding day.
Lots of people complimented the food and the venue looked beautiful with really very little decoration - just a few flowers and some place names.
The team are just so equipped for hosting wedding receptions, I’m so glad we chose them!
(Unfortunately I don’t have many pictures from the day as I was way too busy dancing!)
