You get an impressive 300 acres all to yourself and the chance to tie the knot, celebrate and rest your head in one idyllic location.
Stunning Features
Colshaw Hall features a beautiful Grade II Hall, the perfect backdrop for photos and allows you to spend the night with your closest family and friends on your wedding day. The house has three reception rooms and seven luxurious en-suite bedrooms.
One of the best features of this breathtaking facility is a stunning Makeup Lounge, which is an elegant hair and makeup space to share with your wedding party. With a bespoke design and luxuriously appointed, the lounge is one of our couple's favourite spaces. Not to be missed either is The Den! A bespoke space to play table football or table tennis, relax with friends and enjoy drinks before your big ceremony.
The Stables Ceremony Barn at Colshaw Hall is a dedicated ceremony space. The leaded windows, oak beams and stunning marble flooring provide an elegant setting, with a view of the lake and fountain at the front. Surrounded by immaculate gardens, the Peel Suite is a grand space for an impressive occasion. The Peel Suite has a stylish bar and Pavillion for your drinks reception. From the suite, you can enjoy views across the gorgeous walled garden, which is perfect for wedding photos or a drinks reception on warmer days.
Services Offered
When you book at Colshaw Hall, you receive a wedding coordinator to help you throughout the day. Many extras are included in the price that other venues may charge for. For example, we have a toastmaster to guide you and your guests throughout the day. This is a family-owned and family-run venue, and our dedicated team will go out of their way to make your day memorable.
Accommodation
You can stay the night before your wedding in the beautiful Bridal Lodge, which has everything a bridal party needs the night before the wedding day. With two lovely bedrooms and essential features such as makeup stations and a wine cooler!
At Colshaw Hall, there's ample accommodation for your guests in the form of the stunning Courtyard Cottages, Eco-Lodges and the Hunter's Lodge. Colshaw Hall can sleep up to 50 in total on the estate, and there's plenty of further accommodation nearby. Every overnight guest can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the Orangery and Hall Kitchen the following morning, and it's an excellent opportunity to recount stories of your wedding day.

Just perfect
Having already seen Colshaw hall advertised across Facebook and Instagram, I knew I wanted to get married there before I’d ever seen it in person. After spending hours trawling through many photographers images and reading through reviews, the more spectacular the venue looked in every weather. I knew I needed to see it person. Driving down the truly beautiful drive way, reaching the house, my first thought was, this is well out of budget :(. I was greeted by the team at the opening day who matched my excitement and were so enthusiastic. They were so attentive and so helpful with every question I had. After experiencing such a wonderful tour, I came away with a booklet and available dates… as I initially thought, the prices seemed out of budget until I began pricing up a wedding myself…. Not only would I have not had a wedding coordinator, toastmaster, incredible caterers, a breathtaking venue, accommodation for family and friends and multiple rooms to keep the party going in all weathers, the cost to do it myself plus the stress, the reality of planning and hosting a wedding made the price seem incredibly reasonable. The words “just turn up in your dress and we will do the rest” stuck with me.
The team at Colshaw made every element of planning so simple and stress free. They were always available on the phone and email and made every part enjoyable.
Shelley and Kirsty came to meet me on the morning of my wedding and walked me through every stage. The whole bridal party and guests were in awe of how well the wedding ran. There was never a moment of lost guests or awkward delays, everything just ran so smoothly. They truly made my dream wedding come true. I couldn’t recommend Colshaw enough.

The best day of our lives!
We honestly can’t thank Colshaw Hall enough, from the moment of booking to after our special day they have been nothing short of amazing. They really get to know their couples on a personal level and nothing was ever too much trouble no matter who you spoke to. The day ran like an absolute dream and was so organised which made myself and Joe feel at such ease, even the guests commented on how organised the day was and said it was the best wedding they have ever been too. Every single member of staff is a credit to this wedding venue, no matter who we dealt with we were just greeted with such warmth and kindness. If we were to do the day again we honestly wouldn’t have changed a thing and would have booked yourselves in a heartbeat. The morning after the wedding whilst eating breakfast, David came and spoke to us and asked us about the day and we thought this was such a lovely touch (despite how hungover we both was haha). Thank you Colshaw for giving us the best wedding day we could have dreamed of x

Dream day 18.10.24
Colshaw Hall is an amazing, beautiful venue and provided us with the dream wedding day. Thank you to all the team and a special shout-out to Shelley our coordinator and Ian the Toastmaster, who bent over backwards to ensure our day ran smoothly. Honestly, thank you, thank you, thank you!! We cant thank you enough, we want to re-live it again! Nothing was too much trouble, and they did everything they could to facilitate what we had in mind. Being a fusion wedding the day was jam-packed with two ceremonies, two drinks receptions, lunch and dinner, but the team ensured it was stress-free and magical. The open-days were well organised and helpful, the team always answered any queries swiftly, the final planning meeting was really helpful to put our minds at ease that everything was in hand, and on the day it absoloutely was! Considering they do this day-in and day-out we never felt like a number. They are continously improving the venue to add extra features and guests have commented that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The BEST day!
From the moment we drove into the grounds we knew this was where we wanted to get married. As we walked around we could picture our wedding day.
The buildings and landscapes are immaculate, and every time we’ve been we have seen gardeners and staff looking after the estate with the same care they’d look after their own.
The staff are approachable and professional - we never felt silly asking questions or making requests.
If you’ve never been married before it’s quite overwhelming and I felt in safe hands throughout.
Every single element of a wedding day has been thought about by the Colshaw team.
Each of the suppliers recommended by the team were also exceptional.
We had the BEST day of our lives, honestly would not change a thing.
Whats more, our photos within the grounds are stunning. We couldn’t be happier.
If you are thinking of getting married and Coshaw is one of the options, just forget the others and do Colshaw. You won’t regret it.

Dream day becomes a reality
The BEST venue! from all the planning to the big day, everyone at Colshaw halls goes above and beyond, the venue is perfect the grounds are beautiful and make for the perfect pictures. Every member of staff we can’t thank enough from our first viewing to the dream day they are with you for everything.

Amazing venue⼨
From the very first day viewing this venue we knew this was the one for us! The help and support along the way from all of the staff at Colshaw Hall was amazing there wasn’t anything we didn’t ask they couldn’t make happen. 2 years of planning and help along the way from Tracy and Shelley we are super grateful for and will cherish our wedding day forever and always appreciate the support we have had from them!

Sensational
We would just like to say from the bottom of our hearts Thankyou to Colshaw for giving us the most perfect beautiful day we could ever have wished for. From start to finish it was absolutely unbelievable. All the staff go above & beyond & we really cannot Thank them all enough!
So many guests have said it is hands down the best wedding they have ever been to & couldn’t stop commenting on how breathtaking the venue is.

Perfect Wedding
Couldn’t have asked for more really.
From the moment we began planning Colshaw made everything incredibly easy. The venue is superb, the service brilliant, the hosting and support on the day second to none, and the attention to detail was perfect.
The hunters and bridal lodges we stayed in were exactly what we needed the night before, Den next to the ceremony was stocked with drinks for the guys, tv, ping pong and tv had all music services on there.
Grounds were brilliant for pictures, outdoor bar for the sunny evening before and after food and access excellent for those who needed wheelchair support.
Our day went without a hitch and we would highly recommend Colshaw.

Phenomenal venue
We had the most incredible two day stay at this gorgeous venue, and a phenomenal wedding, and we are all over the moon.
From our first visit to look around when we were stunned by the house, the grounds, the reception and Peel Suite; through to all their patience and help with the planning, all the way up to our pre-wedding stay in the gorgeous Bridal Lodge; then to the day itself when we were looked after so beautifully by Kirsty, the stunning ceremony taking place before the incredible new window and waterfall; the outdoor reception in the sunshine and the great party, and our overnight stay in the luxurious bedrooms and our delicious breakfast the next day….genuinely we can’t thank Colshaw enough. Incredible wedding venue.
Our dream wedding venue with excellent staff, communication and beautiful decor and surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble as we planned our dream wedding. A big thanks to all the office, cleaning and grounds staff for making things possible and to David Irlam for giving us the initial tour of his once special family home. A big thanks to Kirsty (aka fairy godmother) who was our wedding co-ordinator for the day. Nothing was too much trouble for Kirsty and she kept us all calm on what was the most nerve-wracking day! A day we wish we could relive over and over again and we look forward to coming back to visit in the future!

The best venue
We got married at Colshaw Hall on 7th April 2024 and I can't recommend the venue enough. The venue is absolutely beautiful and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. From the Toastmaster and the co-ordinator Sarah they all went above and beyond. All our guests commented on how amazing the venue was.
