Everyone at the conningbrook went above and beyond and we couldn’t be more grateful! George and his team were truly outstanding from the get-go. Amazing communication and nothing was too much trouble (including changing the whole menu for us!)

The venue is beautiful and the grounds just absolutely stunning! The food was incredible and I’ve had so many of our guests complement us on the food!

The bar staff on the night of the wedding were fantastic, upbeat and just went above and beyond for us!

The Conningbrook hotel was really accommodating during wedding planning. We originally had it booked for September 2020 and then the pandemic meant we had to postpone to September 2021 then had to postpone again to June 2022. During this time the Conningbrook was bought by another company who honoured the prices I booked in 2020 and allowed me to move the wedding date without any extra charge.
George, the wedding coordinator for the new owners, was in regular contact with me by email and answered any queries I had.
I found the price extremely reasonable. We were able to accommodate ~50 guests for the sitdown meal (which was delicious) and ~65 guests in the reception (evening buffet was plentiful and tasty). Parkland Suite has sliding doors facing onto the large, well-kept green out back, so people could also mingle outside which was really lovely in summer. The room also has its own bar, which they ensured was stocked with things that I thought might be in high demand, they checked with me beforehand to ask.
The staff (Lexi in particular) was absolutely ON IT making sure my day ran smoothly and I can't thank her enough. Lexi, George and their staff were working tirelessly behind the scenes to make the day perfect for me.
The venue allowed me to decorate the Parkland Suite how I wanted to and were generally really flexible with the date having to be moved, suppliers I'd booked coming in and out, etc. They helped clear away decorations post-wedding. The suite is neutral colours and plain, so it is perfect for people wanting to implement their own vision and do decorations yourself.
They're dog friendly too! They put me in a large hotel room close to the wedding suite so I could easily get my dog for periods of time to see people, take her out back etc, then pop her back into the room.

The staff was amazing, making sure that every little detail was taken care of. From the time we booked, right up to the day, the communication was spot on. I really couldn't ask for a better day in a more beautiful setting. It really was top-notch and fantastic value for money!
The food was out of this world, and usually, you only get 2 choices as a wedding guest, we were able to give people over 4 choices for each course. This ensured everybody was happy!! The buffet was also amazing, barely a scrap was left.
Our families still talk about how amazing it was months and months later :-)
