We loved our day at Above the Bay and received so much praise from our guests. We were lucky it was a lovely dry day and the views were just spectacular. Our guests also praised the facilities, parking, setting and the food, which was excellent. It was so easy having the whole event under one roof, and we were able to use the different spaces. We enjoyed taking golf carts out onto the green and the indoor spaces were also ideal for our needs. The food was delicious and service was efficient, there were so many clean places, even from the fussiest of guests! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and engaged with the whole event. We had a rocky start with the venue as it was in the process of changing hands. However, once this settled down and the two Sophies were in post everything got much easier, and communications were efficient and swift. On the day, Sophie W couldn't have been more flexible and responsive, really ensuring our day ran as smoothly as possible but also being relaxed and enabling us to enjoy our day. We'd just love to do it all over again!

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue than Polmanter for our wedding reception! Set in the stunning Cornish countryside with gorgeous views of St Ives, it provided the most beautiful and relaxed setting for celebrating with our family and friends. From the very start, the team at Polmanter were incredible—friendly, professional, and always happy to help. They made the planning process so easy, ensuring that every detail was just as we envisioned. The reception space was immaculate and beautifully set up, creating the perfect atmosphere for our celebrations. Our guests were blown away by the lovely hall area, the welcoming feel of the venue, and how smoothly everything ran. The combination of gorgeous outdoor spaces and a stylish, comfortable reception area made for an unforgettable experience. Having the softplay there was amazing for the kids, what a great way to keep them entertained while all the adults partied! We are so grateful to the Polmanter team for helping us create the most amazing wedding reception—we truly couldn’t have asked for more! We had our wedding at Mount Pleasant Eco Park and I couldn’t recommend it enough! The site is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our wedding day. Very relaxed vibes but can be tailored to be as formal as is appropriate for you. All of the staff were amazing on the day and the Wedding Manager, Sarah was so helpful in the planning stages and really enabled the day to proceed without any issues. We had a lot of freedom to decorate which made the day very special to us and had the barn, atrium, courtyard and amphitheatre to ourselves which are all beautiful spaces. The food from the Canteen was amazing and all vegan which some of our guests were pleasantly surprised by! The day was completely amazing and we are very grateful to the team at Mount Pleasant for helping us achieve our dream wedding!

We hired the Princess Pavillions as a venue for our October wedding. Our first visit we were warmly welcomed by Allannah. We had almost decided on the venue prior to the visit based on my growing up nearby, but Allannah sealed the deal with her knowledge and expertise. We do not live locally and much of our communications were done over the phone or video calls. Despite this we found communication went well with the venue and we were relaxed during our planing as a result. Allannah and Vicky always kept us up to date and wee flexible on dates for F2F visits working around when we were in the county. On the day Allannah and Vicky were amazing, along with all the bar staff. Everyone felt very welcome, the day went perfectly, the food got many compliments and was delivered right on time. The venue itself is beautiful, but honestly what really made our day special was the combination of this alongside the staff who helped us plan our special day.

We considered a number of venues but instantly knew the James Turrell Skyspace was the perfect venue for our wedding – as we both come from creative backgrounds we loved the idea of bringing our friends and family together in this beautiful and very unique setting. The planning was made so easy by the team at Tremenheere and we felt free to plan our day the way we wanted it to be. Many of our 50 guests had never visited Tremenheere before, everyone was blown away by it and we all had a wonderful time exploring the gardens, taking amazing photographs and enjoying a celebratory drink following the ceremony.

We were lucky enough to get married at Caerhays in May 2024. From the moment we booked, we knew it was right, breathtaking views of the beach and the castle, what more could you ask for!? We also had Jen who coordinated our big day, she was amazing and made sure everything ran smoothly. We highly recommend Caerhays as a wedding venue, you won’t regret it!

We saw this place online searching for an elopement venue and through photos alone felt like it was very us so we gambled and booked it without a visit to secure the date. The venue, accommodation, beautiful bouquets and button holes created by Babs, a visit from figgy the owl and all the details in between were better than we could have imagined. They call it an exquisite tiny wedding and it was just that! The venue is so quaint, unique and charming from the wallpapered ceilings, stain glass windows, vast country views to the scented candles and beautiful furniture and design details throughout the property. It was the most beautiful back drop for our special day. The place is a very artistic, expressive, elegant and fun space. We also enjoyed a very delicious and thoughtfully put together champagne hamper breakfast to start off the morning and the jacuzzi and unpolluted night skies were a bonus to end a gorgeous day. As a worrier and the bride (who had little to no sleep the night prior for nerves) somehow managed minimal anxiety that morning. I felt like everything was on track and I didn’t need to worry thanks to Babs, Perla and Joe who were all so on hand and helpful. They made us and our family and friends feel very welcomed and relaxed and were very much part of the party; even their cute little dachshund named coco came to say a very polite hello. The most magical part of all was our return for the hand fastening ceremony at twilight. We were provided a lantern and so as the sun was setting we took a romantic walk through some fields before entering the woodland where we spotted the twinkling hornbeam circle lit up by fairy lights and candles. It was very romantic. We were very happy and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a small wedding or indeed to elope. For us, it was near enough a perfect place to become husband and wife.

The Stennack Farm team made the 2 years of wedding planning so worth it and we had the most incredible day of our lives. Our wedding was a fusion of Cornish and Welsh guests with 65% of the guest list visiting from the Welsh valleys. So many were excited to see “true Cornwall” and Stennack Farm helped us to provide this to our guests. The venue is light; airy & so spacious for any couples wedding plans to run wild & that’s exactly what we were able to do with Tompkins fest. The accommodation on site was perfect for our Welsh contingency include elderly grandparents and newborns who could enjoy the day and still have an afternoon nap. The back lawn was used for our ceremony and allowed guests and kids to laze out in the evening on the hay bales. The court yard was the ultimate mingling area where we hosted beer pong tournament, rattlers in the sun & able to open the venue doors to hear the music from the dj. The big lawn was ideal for our humungous photo list and the kids enjoyed the playground with the swing set making some great candid pictures. These elements and spaces allowed the guests to not feel to far away from the main building but also allow groups to have their own areas and our guests to have different viewpoints across the day. The venue feels so secluded and private making any big wedding feel intimate. The staff were on hand all day to help the guests and bride and groom with whatever we needed and helping us with suggestions or managing any problems and time delays! Would recommend again and again, mainly to be a guest at our own venue would be quite the fun experience!

We got married at Wheal Tor in May. From planning to the big day itself, everything felt relaxed and enjoyable. Sophie and Charlotte are lovely - their laid back nature made everything feel calm. I didn't feel stressed at all. The food was amazing, everyone said how lovely it was. We had gluten-free and vegan options - and it was all delicious. The main reason we chose this place is because it felt very remote, rustic, and magical. Our big day felt so special. We didn't want a huge glam wedding. This was perfect.

I wrote "experience" rather than just "wedding day", because from the moment we booked the Carlyon Bay hotel, we embarked on the most amazing process with the best people! The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring and the MOST helpful people you could ever imagine wanting for your wedding day and wedding planning process. They make sure that the whole process is stress free and manage to take away any worries you may have! Everything from the scenery and the food to the staff was incredible. As the bride, I got a free spa treatment with booking the hotel. I can't explain how amazing that massage was the day before the wedding. Also, having the duchess suite the night before the wedding and being able to get ready there the morning of, was absolutely fabulous. The view you get from that room, the balcony, as well as the incredible room service just was the cherry on top! I still can't believe I got married outside, on a beautiful cliff, with the most beautiful ocean view (not to mention the private beach we got to take photos on!) Our guests are still talking about the day!
