I fell in love with the fleece when I first walked in. It gave cosy but modern vibes and I couldn’t fault it. There is a wedding coordinator who has regular meeting to ensure your day is perfect. Very good value for money.

We got married at Drybeck in September 2022 and I can’t think of a more perfect place. It’s just stunning. Barn for food and indoor music/ dancing, outdoor stage for more music, lots of quirky accommodation; yurts gypsy caravans etc (look at the pictures on their website!) all do so beautifully! Also option for bell tents and loads of space for guests who want to camp / van sleep. Not too far from other local accommodation too. Steve the owner and crew were outstanding. Couldn’t fault anything. Steve also did our ceremony which was just lovely, it was his first ceremony and he smashed it, personal, funny, heart warming. He also ran the bar for us as well as lots of other help behind and in front of the scenes. Outdoor ceremony with the sound of the river Eden babbling in the background and a kingfisher flashing around, really couldn’t ask for anything more. Solar panels, eco toilets, hot tubs all added to the loveliness. They went above and beyond to make our day so special. If you’re thinking of getting married here, look no further this is a total gem.

The food was exceptional, leaving our guests raving about the delicious menu. The staff at Lancrigg Hotel truly went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was everything we wanted. Their dedication and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the celebration. From accommodating special requests to anticipating our needs, the team made us feel incredibly cared for. Their professionalism and genuine warmth added an extra layer of joy to our special day, making it an unforgettable experience. We had an intimate civil ceremony at Broadoaks County House Hotel in December 2022, and everything was spot on. We couldn’t of asked for more from our wonderful wedding planner Viki, she was on hand throughout the day, as well as the weeks running up to the wedding day. One of the main reasons for choosing Broadoaks is their acceptance of dogs.. we have two Golden Retrievers and it was so important to us to have them with us throughout the day, and they were made so welcome by all the staff 💕

When we first viewed this ponderosa we knew it was perfect for our wedding, that alongside Beth’s help and advise we had no doubts at all.

Stunning venue with a very professional approach to organising and delivering our wedding. It was a relatively small event and they were able to produce a tailored package specifically to our needs. Very helpful and friendly staff couldn't do enough to ensure our wedding was a big success.

Rydal Mount was a stunning place to get married. Being able to get ready in Wordsworth's bedroom was very special. And the garden is large and so we were able to have the ceremony pin one area - the drinks in another and the dinner and dancing in another. It allowed the day to be broken up in enjoyable different parts. Also the views across the Lake District and the garden itself is stunning.

The Casterton Grange team are an absolute dream to plan your big day with. Super flexible, supportive and accommodating which has been such a relief whilst planning a wedding during Covid! The venue is stunning and just what we were looking for to host our big day. It's a perfect balance of character and modern facilities with plenty of room for our loved ones to stay on the estate too. Thank you Anneka and Patrick, you have been wonderful and we can't wait for our big day (whenever that might be)!
