Set I. The heart of Saffron Walden, Bridgr end gardens is the perfect venue to create the wedding of your dreams. We had perfect weather and enjoyed our special day in a traditional English country garden.

We were supposed to get married in Vegas but with COVID we decide to switch to a UK wedding at Ingrebourne Links. We are so glad that we did in the end! We are a very relaxed couple and this venue was perfect for us. It was in a great location for us and overlooking to green of the golf course. Our pictures came out lovely! Thanks to Ronnie for helping us and our photographer! Vicky made organising the wedding so easy and the day ran smoothly with no hiccups. Towards the end our meetings with Vicky felt like catching up with a friend. She was so relaxed and gave great advice when needed. The staff serving the drinks and food we polite and efficient.

As soon as you set eyes on Baddow Park House, there really is no going back. Following a turbulent few months and postponing our wedding date for a second time, we came across a newly transformed and renovated venue that was full of character and full of heart. It is a truly one-of-a-kind venue that will forever hold a special place in our heart, and in the heart of our family and guests. With beautiful rolling grounds perfect on a sunny day, and charming rooms in the house, luxury bedrooms for our guests, and the most breathtaking orangery for our ceremony and wedding breakfast, there wasn’t a box that couldn’t be ticked. From the biggest renovations, such as the extraordinary Orangery or the newly built Salon, to the smallest of touches, such as the luxury glassware or the incredible scent of White Company filling every room, the phrase ‘above and beyond’ epitomises everything Baddow Park House stands for. It takes a very special place to have such a large house and extensive grounds but to feel so wonderfully intimate at the same time. The attention to detail blew us away, and the truly incredible time, effort and customer service put into our day from Kelly, Gaynor, Phil, Jo and the team was more than we could have ever wished for. The wealth of knowledge and experience shared across the team ensured our day ran like clockwork and we can’t thank you enough for giving us our dream wedding day in such a beautiful venue. It was truly magical.

We chose That Amazing Place as the venue for our wedding due to a number of factors, mainly (i) the ability to create a bespoke wedding, (ii) location and ease of access from London and (iii) the size of the venue and rooms were perfect for our wedding party. The ability to decorate the venue as we wished and have the ceremony outside in the beautiful manicured grounds was really important to us and made That Amazing Place really stand out from other venues. The entire venue is finished to a very high standard and all of the rooms were very clean, comfortable, individually styled and of high quality. The roaring open fire in the foyer area was a nice touch and made the venue feel cosy for the reception. Angie, the Events Manager, was helpful throughout the process in recommending service providers to us, responding very promptly to phone calls and emails, working closely with the catering staff, meeting us in advance to discuss the plans for the big day and making helpful suggestions on some of the finer details and logistics. On the actual wedding day she coordinating all of the various providers, ensuring the seating arrangements were in place and communicating with us to put our minds at ease that everything was running smoothly. We should say a special mentions to owners, Paul and Jane, who were both incredibly helpful in the run up to the wedding by being very accommodating to our and our guests' needs. Overall it was a brilliant wedding in a fantastic venue and it was a very pleasant experience working with Angie, Paul and Jane. We were lucky that everything went according to plan and that was thanks to lots of people working together and helping to make such a special day.

When we decided to get married we were looking for a relaxed venue that would accommodate all our guests, provide amazing food and offer us the chance to plan a wedding that was exactly as we wanted. The Compasses was already special to us having been there on our second date so we were thrilled to discover that they could offer everything we needed. Jane and Jono helped us plan our perfect day and were always willing to look at ways to accommodate our requests. Our wedding day was absolutely wonderful! The food was fantastic, the Compasses looked beautiful for the service and reception afterwards and all our guests were blown away by the setting. Jane, Jono and all the staff could not have given us better service. I would highly recommend the Compasses to anyone looking for a wedding venue, you really won't find better. We continue to be regular visitors and are so happy we chose the Compasses to celebrate our special day.

We had our wedding reception at Pontlands Park in August 2013. We had our reception in the marquee, and the day was perfect, and it was all down to the amazing venue and incredible staff at Pontlands. From first visiting the venue and driving up the driveway up to the doors, i knew we had found our venue. The staff were so accommodating from start to finish- they were all so professional and friendly. I cannot thank them enough. The food was delicious and everyone has commented on it since the wedding. They have lovely gardens for photos and drinks reception. The hotel rooms were so comfortable and modern. I cannot sing the praises of the venue enough. I would definitely recommend people going to visit this wonderful, reasonably priced venue.

OMG were do I start, Thursday was simply the best day of my life!!!!!!! My wedding ceremony at Warley Park was AMAZING!!!! You all did me so proud and made me not feel like a princess but a QUEEN :) It was simply so beautiful everything was perfect. The Red carpet took my breath away. I really did feel like a bit of a celeb ha ha. I couldnt believe the gorgeous room for the ceremony and I cant express how greatful and how thankful we are for all your hard work in making sure this wedding was going to be out of this world. I know how hard the staff would of worked to make sure everything went smoothly and in order. So a massive BIG BIG Thank you to everyone who helped be a part of our special day and giving us such a beautiful wedding. The food was beautiful and everyone said so, The homemade chocolate brownie tower. WOW that was amazing. Everything was just simply PERFECT, Even the weather came good to get some great pictures of us newly wedds on your wedding pier!
