Country Wedding Venues in West Sussex

Riseholme was my number one choice to host our special occasion and we were so happy with how the day went. We loved the choice of areas to enjoy different elements of our ‘Downton Abbey’ themed day. We had champagne and canapés on the terrace overlooking the stunning view, a sit down meal in the lovely Glass House and finished with a pool party and bbq! It was so nice and private and lovely to have the grounds and entertainment spaces to ourselves. We had such a wonderful time and would recommend Riseholme to anyone wanting an intimate, truly bespoke day.

Recently got married at Woodmancote Place. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, everything you could want from an outdoor venue and more. Hannah was absolutely fantastic. Made what could have been a very stressful process seem simple! Easy to speak to and get hold of, always has an answer to any question, no matter how ridiculous! Flexible with seeing the venue and setting up for the day. Hannah was there every step and helped coordinate suppliers which made planning so much easier. We had the most amazing day at Woodmancote Place and wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Wow! what can I say?! I can't rave about Naldretts enough - we had our dream wedding on the Great Lawn. It was SO special to have a blessing as the sun was setting and to have all our friends and families around us surrounded by your beautiful gardens and woodlands. Seeing the deer grazing in the parkland as we re-said our vows to each other was quite simply one of the best moments of my life. I'll never forget it - thank you so much for providing the wedding setting of dreams xxx

We hired cowdown field for our wedding reception and we couldn’t have asked for anymore. Louisa and the family were absolutely fantastic to deal with, we had postponed the wedding twice due to covid and they were incredibly flexible and understanding. The venue has the best views in Sussex which make for the perfect back drop to an outdoor wedding! Thank you highden!

I absolutely loved working with Greentrees Estate, I cannot recommend them highly enough for their impeccable service throughout the planning process for my couple. Whatever we needed, they were extremely accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure their wedding day was what they had envisioned. They were flexible with our suppliers which I loved, there are not many venues in the South East of England that allow for dry-hire anymore. The accommodation was outstanding with the most gorgeous views. Highly recommend.

We held our ceremony in August 2018 in the beautiful Sunk Garden at Nymans, The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the National Trust site feels so much more special than any other venue we looked at in Sussex. Sophie was absolutely fantastic from the moment we first showed interest in Nymans through to the hug and well wishes she gave us as we left on our way to the reception. Having Sophie was like having our own personal wedding planner. She is passionate, knowledgeable and ensured our day ran without a hitch! With 7 years experience working at Nymans I felt completely safe in her hands. Thank you to Sophie and the Nymans team.

This venue has everything! Wonderful house with lots of stunning rooms, a personal and bespoke service from Emma and the team plus gorgeous grounds.

From the moment we stepped into Ockenden Manor we knew this was the place to get married in. The food was excellent and the service was slick but unobtrusive. All the staff without exception were friendly helpful and efficient. Its also a terrific setting for the photographs. All in all a perfect setting for a perfect day!

The venue was absolutely magnificent, the food was delicious and the service was excellent - overall a perfect day.
