Located in the heart of Solihull the fully licensed Crowne Plaza Solihull is ideal for intimate weddings or larger celebrations; up to 150 people for a civil ceremony, 110 for a wedding breakfast and 150 for the evening. With a lakeside terrace and picturesque gardens for the all-important wedding photographs, delicious food, good wine and cosy bedrooms, it provides the perfect backdrop for your special day. We have everything that you need all in one place and are located opposite Solihull Register Office, allowing couples to tie the knot before strolling back to our hotel for an evening of elegance.

Amazing day

From booking my wedding 2 years in advance to the day after I can not fault the experience I had, any issue or worry I had about the venue/food/anything was dealt with and my mind was put to rest. Cymone went above and beyond to help me plan everything, Gary the gent for the day was amazing very professional put us as ease. The staff went above and beyond staying later to help me set up the room the night before I would highly recommend this place if you are thinking of getting married here

Everything was just magical

Thank you for making my son Sam Ford and his new wife Kimberly Ford's wedding so fantastic. A very big thank you to Gary who helped on the day, he was fabulous. The food was delicious and everything was just magical. Thank you all for everything xx

Amazing from beginning to end

We got married here Saturday and it was amazing from beginning to end nothing was ever too much trouble Kelly and Gary really went above and beyond and made our day truly special we can't recommend the venue and its wonderful staff enough

Amazing!

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to you and all the staff at the Crowne Plaza for making our wedding experience absolutely magical. We had the best day ever. Please thank Kirsty, Gary and Melissa; Rachel, Sarah and the fab Sally-Anne on Reception (please thank her for the lovely card she sent up to the room for us). Please, please thank Ian and all the kitchen staff - the food was sensational and everybody (and I mean everybody) raved about everything from the canapés to the creme brûlée to the bbq food in the evening; we cannot thank him enough. The vegan food was also bloody amazing! Take very good care of yourself my lovely; you have been a wonderful individual to deal with; and have since become a great friend. We are delighted to have met and worked with you. AMAZING!!

Kelly went over and above for us with everything from the initial meeting to have look round the hotel when we were looking at wedding venues right up until our wedding day, nothing was too much trouble for Kelly she gave our day a personal touch and wasn’t just another member of staff to us but also a massive part of our day, we will really miss dealing with Kelly she is an absolute credit to the company and anyone who gets to plan their wedding with Kelly can definately do so with the knowledge that she will make their day the most magical one of their lives

Dear Sir,
We are writing to thank all the Staff at the Crowne Plaza for making our son's wedding to Suzana last week such a memorable and happy occasion. We would like to thank in particular Kelly and Garry. Their attention to detail, combined with their friendliness ,contributed greatly to the success of the day. The wedding breakfast was delicious, and enjoyed by all.
Our wedding guests came from France ,Brazil, Wales, Kent , and of course Solihull. Without exception, all have commented on the quality of the service at the hotel. We shall not hesitate to recommend the hotel as a wedding venue, and indeed have already done so.
So please pass on our heartfelt thanks to Kelly, and to Garry, and to all the staff.

Dream Team!

Hi Clare

We had a fabulous day on Saturday the sun even came out for us.

Just wanted to let you know how fabulous Bethan and her team were. Nothing was too much trouble they are a Dream Team!

Cant thank you enough

Good morning Teresa please accept our apologises with this belated email to say what a fantastic job you, Kate and the team did make our day so perfect.

It's been a whirlwind since we got married and life hadn't slowed down hence the late thank you. I do have a little something to say thank you and all the staff that helped on the day.

I cant thank you and the staff enough

I can't thank you and the staff enough for making the day run seamlessly. You really went above and beyond with your run to Brides, I'd have been totally lost without you! You have been wonderful from start to finish, I knew as soon as I met you that the Holiday Inn was the right venue choice, I chose it over the Ramada as soon as I met you, before I even went to my meeting there, because you were so lovely and warm and I could tell I could trust you to help it go well. The staff on the day were also great, I'm not one to control a whole event so they stepped up where I needed them to! I can't remember his name, the guy who seemed to be co-ordinating after you left, but he also did a fantastic job.

Absolutely magnificent

I can not thank The Holiday Inn enough for organising and overseeing a truly wonderful wedding day for me and Kim. I have to single out Teresa, the wedding co-ordinator, who is brilliant at her job: fantastically organised, a calming influence, and an enthusiastic, wonderful personality that makes the whole wedding experience even more special. With her involved I felt totally at peace - it's the biggest compliment to say that my trust in her was total, and coming from me, that's a big thing to say, as I like to be very hands on. But frankly, on the day, all the staff were magnificent - from bar to reception, from those who prepared/cooked and served the food to those who organised and decorated the room for the ceremony, reception and party. Absolutely magnificent, and ultimately that was down to the brilliance of Teresa in heading it all up.
