About

Nestled in the rolling panoramas of Mid-Suffolk, Crow’s Hall is one of the UK’s finest and most exclusive wedding and events venues. Set in a 400 acre farm, surrounded by a moat and island garden ‘rooms’, the 16th century Grade II* listed redbrick manor house and Tudor long barn provide a truly beautiful setting for your special day, and it can be exclusively yours for a long weekend.

Crow's Hall sleeps 10 (plus glamping options), and is your own exclusive private stately home for four nights, a unique venue to mark your wedding and create enduring memories alongside your loved ones. Our doors are open for reservations from April to September, providing a unique and picturesque backdrop for your celebrations and a tranquil setting to cherish moments with family and friends.

Set in 400 delightful countryside acres there’s so much more to Crow’s Hall than what the eye can see from the historic island’s neatly mown lawns, punting jetties and potagers. And it’s all just perfect for fun, photographs and making lasting memories. Why not arrange a wedding walk along the bridle paths, a family treasure hunt or a celebratory picnic in the woods? Invite your guests to glamp in the paddocks. Row off into the sunset on the moat. It’s all more than just magical – and exclusively yours for you to celebrate your way.

A truly inclusive venue, we are proud to be able to share our stately home and to play host to an unrivalled and diverse range of wedding celebrations.

Share those most special moments on the secluded island ‘garden’ of your dreams. Descend the lawned ‘allée’ aisle to meet your partner and guests gathering in the elegantly English country garden amphitheatre. Or maybe step into another more intimate garden room with a handful of your nearest and dearest for a formal family moment of togetherness.

Suffolk’s longest and most authentically preserved timber-framed Tudor Long Barn is an extraordinary space, as befits its history. The Tudor structure was once part of a brewery complex and granary in late medieval times. The granary section is now restored to its former glory and offers an authentic space for weddings that are truly unforgettable – combining superb acoustics with perfect flexibility over layout and décor.

For that extra indulgent touch to your wedding or party, enquire about our marquee and glamping options. With pavilions near the flower-borders, canopies by the moat, paddock-filling big tops, terrific tipis and a luxury glamping village for your guests, we can provide something truly unique.

Unbeatable - the best supplier and venue

It didn’t take us long to decide on Crows Hall - such a beautiful, unique venue with a moat, Tudor barn and glamping site, as well as access to the beautiful house to stay in over the wedding weekend - and one of very few venues to give you exclusive access for a week so you can set up and enjoy days leading up to and after the wedding. Anything but a wedding factory which was key for us and you don’t have to shut the whole wedding down before midnight either like most others!

Just to top it off, we were so lucky to have Caroline who owns the venue to provide all her recommendations of suppliers, ideas for the day itself and all the other help we could have wished for to make our perfect day happen.

It was a wedding like no other (as all guests said so too!) and the whole event could not have been more special. We were able to use the boat on the moat, have bbqs in the grounds, the band playing outdoors with the moat backdrop, beautiful gardens for guests to stroll around in the morning of and during the wedding - and as a special touch, my grandparents loved being taken up to a hidden viewing platform in Caroline’s own home which they still talk about every time I see them.

You won’t find a venue or supplier like this to help make the wedding of your dreams come true!

Intimate Country Wedding

We had the most incredible weekend at Crows Hall, all our wedding dreams came true after having to postpone and change country last minute due to Covid. Caroline could not have been more helpful and kind to us, we will always be thankful to her. Everything about Crows Hall is just beautiful, from the house to the gardens. We made the best memories and will cherish them forever.

It was all perfect!

We have created some fabulous memories which we will cherish always.
When we saw the venue & barn back in January we knew straight away that this is where we have to have our wedding - nothing else compared (we saw six other venues)!
Thank you Caroline for all your help and letting me practice on your wonderful Piano.

A Hidden Gem

This Venue is incredible! Don’t let the fact it only has a few reviews put you off from taking a tour, Caroline the venue host was an absolute treasure in helping us plan our big day! The venue itself is simply stunning, beautiful gardens, a gorgeous listed barn with huge space and a genuine rustic feel. The venue has plenty of space which can incorporate use of the main house and surrounding areas for outdoor games. We fell in love with the barn for our wedding of 120 guests, the courtyard outside provided the perfect space to separate our caterers without having to sacrifice any space. A huge advantage to this venue is included in the price is 1 weeks worth of stay something extremely rare we found as most venues only allow access a few days before and this helped enormously when decorating the venue and assisted when we had to take delivery of tables, chairs, lighting as we didn’t have to panic about everything arriving in one day! With the space Crows Hall offers our day flowed beautifully, we had our reception in the beautiful gardens with an orchestra which had a lovely formal setting to start then just over the bridge to the barn where we had our wedding breakfast. Our day was perfect and I wouldn’t have changed our venue for the world, it’s a real hidden treasure complete with moat! Which we got in and rowed around on our wedding day and swam in all week to add to the fun! Could not recommend this venue and host enough! Truly special place to have your wedding!

An unbeatable venue

We can't recommend Crow's Hall enough. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, but most importantly you get the opportunity to organise a completely unique wedding - the owner Caroline will guide and advise you, but also give you the freedom to choose the style of wedding and providers that you want. Importantly, Caroline also doesn't accept many weddings during the year, so you don't have the feeling you're on a wedding factory line! Caroline is also absolutely lovely (as are the horses and dogs who also live at Crow's Hall) and we became firm friends throughout the whole process, and have kept in touch since the wedding.
