Dartmoor Zoo offers a truly unique wedding experience and venue in Devon’s stunning Dartmoor National Park. Surrounded by 33 acres of gardens and fascinating animals, getting married at Dartmoor Zoo promises to deliver a fantastic experience for everyone.
Our beautiful ceremony room, with its original wooden floor and fireplace, creates a perfectly intimate atmosphere, accommodating up to 50 seated guests—but we can host larger ceremonies, too! Large Winter ceremonies are held in our light and spacious Jaguar Restaurant. Large Summer ceremonies are held in marquees in the heart of the zoo, surrounded by luscious greenery and enclosures that house some of our most exciting animal residents.

The most dreamy wedding!
From our first visit and throughout the entire planning process, Jade and Alyn were incredibly responsive and helpful. They answered every question we had and went above and beyond to help us plan out every detail of the day, and Alyn was there to help us set up the day before. They also packed up all our decor for us to pick up the next day, so we didn't have to worry about that during the wedding or enlist any of our guests to help out with packing up.
The wedding day itself was magical - there were so many lovely outdoor photo ops, we had a great time meeting Dragan the tiger, and our guests loved being about to walk around and see the animals during ‘down time’ between photos and food. The wedding breakfast was absolutely delish (with the menu customized exactly how we wanted it). Plus, we loved that the money we spent on the wedding went straight into helping the animals. It couldn’t have been more perfect!
