We fell in love with this venue as soon as we saw it, the price and location were fab and we also booked the cottage to continue our wedding celebrations. Jane was absolutely incredible, great communication and went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly. There is not a single thing we’d change from the day!

The hotel staff could not do enough for us, what an amazing day nothing was to much trouble, they even had agency staff to make sure my day was perfect and it was, Michelle who the Stuart recommend to dress your rooms is a must absolutely stunning rooms, what more can I say I would recommend The Stuart Hotel 100% I wouldn't have changed a thing,, Thankyou

We held our wedding ceremony at Amalfi White. We found them relatively short notice, after a change in our plans. We were extremely lucky the only availability they had, was the exact availability of our registrar. They were extremely helpful, guiding us through what information they needed for the booking and advice for on the day. We arrived and the venue was dressed beautifully, with candles lit, creating a lovely atmosphere and afterwards we had some photos in the garden. It was simple, beautiful, perfect and better than we could have hoped for!

Nothing is too much trouble. They listen to what you want and help you plan it. The no corkage plan is an excellent idea. Helps with the budget. The venue is so beautiful it doesn't need too much adding to it. The outside space is stunning for photos.

The pre wedding party service and support during the evening were excellent. Helen at The Priest House was excellent - she accommodated all our requests, was always prompt and friendly with her replies and the night went superbly. All of our guests thought the venue and the food were excellent - we chose the BBQ menu - very good and plenty of food. Thank you Priest House!

We choose this venue for our wedding in May 2009. Words cannot describe how pleased we were with our choice. For civil ceremonies-perfect- the restaurant is set to make a perfect room, with a long aisle. We used the sunken lounge for our wedding breakfast but ther is a choice of rooms dependent on how many people you have. Getting married at 1.30pm left plenty of time for photos and guests to chill in the lovly sun that we were lucky to have. Everyone made comments about how beautiful it was, with the sky lights in the sunken lounge, the lighting was perfect much to our photographers delight. Staff, service and food were spot on. Being a conference centre, they are used to catering for huge numbers so 80+ was nothing to them. We had a carvey buffet, the food was fresh and plenty of choice which everyone loved. The grounds and stairs gave perfect opportunities for photos too. Rooms for guests to stay were very reasonable too. No bridal room though but I hope this will change soon. All in all I would recommend this venue is looked at as for the cost of some wedding venues, this was so amazingly priced but the day was perfect in every way. Would choose this venue over many popular wedding venues in Derby any day.

well what can i say this is a super place to have your wedding reception we had a brilliant day and night we were seated donstairs for the sit down meal and then the eveening reception was then upstairs the evening buffet was great staff were so friendly and helpfull everyone commented on the food saying how nice it was it was absalutley fantastic we didnt want our wedding day to day to end 7/7/07 xx
