Having worked in events it's safe to say the standards were set pretty high for our own wedding. And if we could do it all again...we wouldn't change a single moment.

Our special day at this idyllic venue was flawless and perfect from start to finish. The entire Dovecote team were eager to help bring our vision to life to create the most magical day for us, a day we have waited thirteen years for! This dream team went above and beyond for not only us as a couple, but for all of our guests - it's as if we were an extension of the Dovecote family.

To Mel, Lauren, Helen & Tom - you co-ordinated our day in such a way that the entire day felt stress-free and completely relaxed - we were in entirely safe hands with each and every one of you and felt so at ease! We are deeply grateful to you all for ensuring the day ran smoothly, for guiding us in the run-up to the wedding with your sound advice, for coordinating both our grand entrances, and for being genuinely caring and thoughtful to ensure it really was THE most perfect memorable day.

To Tim & Tim, the incredible Chefs - thankyou for creating such delicious dishes that made it incredibly hard to choose at the food tasting! On the day, the level of detail, the flavours and presentation became a hit with the guests, who are still even weeks later talking about the food!

To Sophia, Charis and all of the bar & waiting staff - you were all simply incredible! Thank you for being so attentive to our guests, going above and beyond to make sure they were all well stocked up on their drinks, canapes, food and comfort, all whilst offering a friendly smile.

And finally to the wonderful Matt - thank you for not only being there on the day continuously checking in with us, but helping us with every step providing extra detail to ensure ourselves and our family were comfortable. Anything we asked of you never seemed too big, you provided a warm caring approach and response, and you always went the extra mile. For that, we will always be grateful to you and we appreciate everything you have done for us as a couple!

My Husband and I got married here last month, and it was literally one of the best days of our lives! Everything was perfect! From booking the venue 2 years in advance, until the big day, the communication with Lauren was seamless! No question was too big or too small.
The food tasting and final details meeting were perfect timing in the lead up. Absolutely loved the food tasting evening - it felt super personal and what a treat to try different options! Afterwards we were DREAMING about the food and counting down until we could have it again - the food is INCREDIBLE.
The rest of the staff and team we met were lovely and super helpful, and whenever we went to the venue before the big day they always made sure they had time to have a conversation with us and get to know us as a couple which was just so lovely!
The actual venue itself is just so beautiful, and so reasonably priced for what you get! No hidden fees, no paying extra for crockery, or toilets, or lights (other venue do that! Crazy!) - but with Dovecote, what you see is what you get.
On the day itself, when it was time for the next thing, whether it was confetti throw, or cake cut, staff were on hand to let us know but made absolutely sure there was no rush and to do everything at our pace and enjoy the day how we wanted.
Honestly cannot thank the team enough, everything was perfect and we loved every second. Wish we could do it all over again!!

From the first time we set foot in Dovecote we knew it was where we wanted to get married. From the warm welcome we had from Melanie, to the beautiful barn, stunning tipi and spectacular grounds, we were blown away. Every step of the way the whole team were so helpful, and left us feeling so excited and stress-free going into the day. The private food tasting with Lauren, Tom and Matthew was a real highlight and our dietary requirements were catered for so thoughtfully - huge thank you to chefs Tim (x2) and team. Setting up the tipi the day before the wedding could not have gone smoother thanks to so many of the team being available to support. And of course, the day itself was perfect and everything that we hoped it would be, special thanks to Lauren for accepting my last minute deliveries and ensuring everything ran so smoothly, with Cece, Tom and co. All of our guests commented on how beautiful our venue was, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose you. We cannot wait to find an excuse to come back and see you all soon!

Dovecote was our first venue we visited, we fell in love as soon as we got there, both with the barn and the staff showing us around. We felt so at ease and relaxed we knew from that moment this was our venue. It did not disappoint.

Throughout the whole process the staff were amazing, answered all of my questions, nothing was to much and on the day just WOW. We chose the barn for our day and it was beautiful, you really didn't need much decor as its got such charm already. The food was also fantastic and guests are still talking about how good it was 5 weeks on, you definitely don't go hungry either.

If i could redo the whole day i wouldn't change a thing and that really is down to the venue and its staff who make the day run smoothly and go the extra mile whenever its needed. You won't be disappointed choosing Dovecote as your venue.

We got married at Dovecote Barn 3 weeks ago, and it was honestly the best day of our lives. Lauren, Matt and the team were lovely to deal with from our first visit, they were so responsive to all of my (many!) queries and questions; and they made the whole planning process a breeze. The day itself was wonderful - I personally felt so relaxed and we just enjoyed ourselves because everything was being taken care of by Lauren - it ran like clockwork, but so smooth that we didn't notice anything happening behind the scenes. Everything just "happened"! The food was out of this world, all of guests have been saying that it was the tastiest food they have eaten at a wedding (and it was so hard for us to choose our menu, as the options were all delicious). The bar staff were so friendly with our guests, nothing was too much trouble for them and they seemed to enjoy making the numerous cocktails they were being asked to make. The grounds are gorgeous for photos, even if we did have rain on the day - it didn't matter to us. We had the best day ever and we can't thank them enough!

We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect for our wedding than we experienced at Dovecote. From the first enquiry to our wedding day itself Mel and Matt were helpful, accommodating and friendly. The BBQ food was exceptional and more than we could eat.

The barn, tipi and the staff gave us the magical day we had hoped for. All of our guests loved it and so did we.

We attended a open evening at Dovecote Events in October and instantly got such a good impression.
Firstly the venue was absolutely stunning and felt so magical but secondly the staff were so friendly, helpful and informative.

When we had our food tasting you are normally allowed to try 2 dishes of each course but as we had a large amount of guests who were vegetarian we asked if we could try 3 main courses and this was no problem at all.
We found the dovecote team so relaxed and organised in the run up to the wedding, which was so calming and helpful.

The day itself ran so so smoothly, honestly it was flawless.
Nothing is too much hassle and you feel as if all the staff are really genuinely invested in making your wedding perfect!

Mel and the team were brilliant. The location and barn itself is such a beautiful setting. The food was incredible! Bao buns were a hit with all the guests in particular! This venue, and the team that work so hard there are just so fantastic, we really are finding it difficult to know where to start.
We were married in the beautiful Dovecote barn on October 2nd, and the whole experience was flawless from the start. From the point when I first contacted Mel to enquire about the venue until the end of the actual day, they were absolutely wonderful.
It rained non stop on our day, and it didn't make the slightest bit of difference. They are set up and prepared for any eventuality, and a member of the team was ready to meet every guest from their car with a huge umbrella.
The barn is stunning just as it is, but we were given free reign to decorate it as we wanted, and my sisters went to town with flowers and lights everywhere.
The service and the food still have our guests talking two weeks later. We have to mention Nicky and her team and pass our compliments to the chef who did us proud with gorgeous canapes, 3 course dinner and an amazing cake made up of delicious cheeses.
We were both made to feel so special by all the team, and all we can say is that if you are looking for a venue in the area, stop looking and just book it. You will be in for an absolutely perfect day.

Me and my husband were blown away at how incredibly professional and supportive the staff were at dovecote on our wedding day.
Everything from when we first ever come to see the venue, to the food tasting, to the chefs creating such delicious food, to the gardeners for keeping the grounds so immaculate, to the bar staff and everyone else behind the scenes, we just can not fault! CeCe and the team made the whole experience stress free and smooth running. They all went above and beyond and it certainly did not go unnoticed, we had many positive comments from our guests, not only on the venue and the food but on all the staff too.
From the moment we first set eyes on this venue we knew this is where we wanted to get married, it just gives you a feeling and I know that our guest also picked up on that feeling. It’s an absolutely beautiful venue.

Our Daughter announced her wedding day 2 years before the date itself, in this 2 year period she applied many personal touches to make the day as special as possible, what was special about the Dovecote venue and especially the staff members there was their adaptability to work with my Daughter and encompass her requirements, a massive shout out to Cece the events Co Ordinator there and Matt, we knew as Parents our Daughter was in safe hands from day 1 of the 2 years. Could not recommend Dovecote enough!! We chose the venue for our wedding as it provided everything we had hoped for … rural setting, barn ceremony and most importantly a huge tipi. It was an ideal setting for our special day. The beautiful barn was perfect for the ceremony, and the drinks reception afterwards on the patio was relaxed with ample space for guests to sit, the confetti throw and photos. We chose a barbecue meal which was delicious and plentiful. The tipi was perfect with plenty of space for the band and dance floor. The fire pits added an extra touch to make our day special. The weather was also perfect so our day couldn’t have been better! All of the staff we so helpful and friendly from the initial planning stages to the day itself.
