The country house sits within its own grounds with breath-taking panoramic views, making for a delightful, picture-perfect backdrop. Downham Hall offers three stunning locations for your ceremony and reception to suit various celebrations. At the rear of the house, the Orangery is the perfect choice for smaller intimate gatherings. This beautiful light filled space, overlooking the south wing gardens, is a very pretty location to say 'I do. Up to 40 loved ones can join you here for a ceremony and up to 25 for a seated meal. Alternatively, the de Beauvoir Suite holds larger parties of 87 guests for a ceremony. We also offer outdoor weddings within the grounds of the house, offering a lovely, relaxed and tranquil setting for up to 110 guests. Our marquee is also licensed for larger ceremonies.

Downham Hall's lawn marquee can accommodate from 40 up to 100 guests seated, with a fully-stocked bar, heating, and ample space for dining and dancing. Whichever option you choose, you will have access to a private dressing room to prepare, with a secret route to the ceremony room to keep your wedding look private until you walk down the aisle. Five beautifully appointed bedrooms are on-site for you and your loved ones, including a stunning suite for the special couple, perfect for extending your celebrations beyond the wedding day.
