Having lived 5 minutes away from Dunston Hall for years, finding this hidden gem for our wedding was just perfect! We instantly fell in love with the house... The grounds and all the rooms are stunning and the karaoke bar in the cellar was a real hit! The newly renovated Stables are beautiful and the perfect space for your wedding reception!

The start of our journey was bumpy with changes in management, but Macauley, Anna and the team went over and above to make sure everything was perfect. You can really tell the team care and they make you feel like you aren't just another wedding! All our guests commented on how attentive and just lovely all the staff were all weekend!

Jordan designed an Italian inspired menu, making sure it was exactly what we wanted and him and the team really delivered! The food all weekend was delicious!!

From the moment we had our first viewing at Dunston Hall only a couple of months ago, we were absolutely blown away… the hall itself is absolutely breathtaking, the grounds are stunning, the garden ceremony room is absolutely beautiful and the newly refurbished stables is an incredible space!

We were welcomed by Macaulay, Claire and Anna, who were truly amazing ladies! Nothing was too much trouble, they understood our vision and delivered above and beyond our expectations. Mark was also absolutely fantastic, we met Mark on the day and he became a familiar friendly face for our family and friends throughout the day, helping make sure our day was perfect! So many of our guests commented on how lovely the staff are, words really don’t do them justice! The hardest part was actually saying goodbye to the members of staff, they became a huge part of our journey and our experience would not have been the same without them.

We were also so impressed with food, and received amazing feedback from our guests regarding the wedding breakfast and evening BBQ. The portion sizes were so generous, they even offered more bread for the soup, more gravy for the roast beef, they really looked after each and every one of us and catered for dietary requirements incredibly well too!

From start to finish, Dunston Hall was perfect, I am so pleased I came across them, they really did create the most memorable day for us and our family.

Dunston Hall is Exquisite. A Rolls-Royce, Creme de la Creme, Attention to Detail Wedding Venue and Accommodation! A 'Must Stay' if you want luxury, exclusivity, beautiful decor, first class customer service and food a plenty that melts in your mouth! The House and Grounds are mesmerising! Every guest who stayed in the rooms, slept 'happy'! They did not want to leave! The Bridal Suite was very elegant. The attentiveness provided by the staff is amazing. Having our wedding at Dunston Hall was a dream come true, which I shall cherish the memories of forever. Anna, the Manager, with the assistance of Jess, Macauley and the Team, were subject focused working on our time, from the conception of us wanting our wedding at Dunston Hall, to the execution of one of the most beautiful days of my life! All our guests were in awe of the Estate and weeks later, we are still receiving comments from guests on attending one of the best weddings in the most beautiful of venues! Dunston Hall just keeps on giving.

The location is impressive, the gardens and house are magnificent. The staff listened, and took the time to make our wedding reception incredible. 100% of the guests loved it. The Dunston team accommodated everything and had great attention to detail. Beautiful venue, great people to work with.

I’m not quite sure where to start with this review, but it’s an absolute dream wedding venue with the best staff you could imagine

Myself and Jemma got married on the 6th of July which was a Saturday, we arrived to Dunston on Friday midday and left on Monday morning. Dunston has 10 bedrooms which sleeps around 25 people, we filled it with close family and friends, if this works for you and your family I would really recommend doing this

We’d booked Dunston roughly two years before our wedding date, Anna and Macauley were absolutely brilliant, they are a credit to Dunston. Everything was so easy and they are so knowledgable, we had regular meetings with them to check in and discuss how everything was going on both sides

We also had a taster session for the food for our wedding, so you choose three starters, three mains and three deserts that you would like for your wedding, you then go to Dunston to try these, everything is plated as it would be served at your wedding. Owen was brilliant for this taster session, a very polite man with great service skills and the knowledge to go with it. The food is AMAZING, every person from the wedding said it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The chef (apologies, can’t remember his name) really is as good as you can get and does an amazing job, the taster session was exactly as the food came out on the wedding, we had 90 guests and to keep quality high for that many people is unbelievable

We are local to the area and remember Dunston being up for sale around 2019 and out of interest we looked just to see what the house was like, what the owners of Dunston have done since buying it is unbelievable, the house is literally stunning, every single room in the house is perfect and every bedroom has an en-suite, I dread to think how much has been spent renovating the property

On the wedding day, the staff make you feel at ease, everything seems effortless and they have a close bond with suppliers because of how they treat them, you really can tell the integrity that runs throughout Dunston. The venue is perfect, we opted for an outside wedding and luckily the weather held out for us, it’s made for some very special pictures, we had a small stage created with chairs in a semi circle, again if this is possible for you I’d really try to create something like that. The second plan was the ceremony room, which would have also been a very intimate special place to hold a wedding.

On Sunday, we invited everyone back for a bbq, the weather was great and we ordered a Morrisons delivery to Dunston and sourced meat from a local supplier and we cooked on the bbq’s supplied by Dunston. This was an amazing day, the weather was great and the grounds are beautiful, it was a really nice relaxed day and great to speak to family and friends slightly more relaxed than the previous day

Every single staff member at Dunston is amazing, I can’t remember everyone’s names but honestly they provide the best service I have ever received. I hope the owners see this review and you are lucky to have such great, hard working staff

If you’re thinking about getting married here, it will be the best decision you’ve ever made.

Where do we even begin!
We cannot recommend Dunston Hall and the staff enough! Our wedding weekend was everything we had dreamed of and more. We stayed at the venue the night before and had an incredible pre-wedding party with Paella cooked and served by the venue, followed by a beautifully displayed continental breakfast on our wedding morning, and a cooked breakfast the morning after. The food throughout the weekend was absolute perfection and we received so many compliments on the quality of the food. Dunston catered for many different allergies and dietary requirements without any issue. The whole venue, including the rooms in house were of an incredible high standard and looked beautiful. Our guests were blown away (as were we!). Anna was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole process from our initial enquiry to days after our wedding! We cannot thank Anna enough. Macauley, Owen and the team over the entire weekend were so efficient and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, which made the weekend run so smoothly. We honestly couldn't have asked for anything more and we had the best day of our lives. We wish we could do it all over again!! Thank you so much Dunston Hall!

We had our wedding here on the 29th December 2023 and it was simply perfect. The venue is beautiful and very reasonably priced. Food is wonderful. Staff are incredible! And the bedding was to die for

An absolutely magical day! On 27/08/23, I got married at Dunston Hall and it was just fantastic. When I first went to look around, I fell in love with the place - it really is stunning.
The ceremony room is breathtaking and was further enhanced by ‘Lillies Bespoke Faux Flowers’. I guarantee you will not fail to fall in love with it.
The Stable room which held the wedding breakfast is amazing, just so elegant and classy.
The bedrooms are again just beautiful. The beds are extremely comfortable, the duvets and towels just so soft and fluffy.
They really have thought of everything to ensure you have a perfect stay.
A huge thank you to all the staff who made my day one I will never forget. Special thanks to Mark - as my day got closer, I was getting more nervous about how it would be. You were constantly reassuring me - you said it would be as perfect as it could be, and you were right. It was just perfect.
Macauley - from first meeting you, you were warm, welcoming and so very helpful. You even went as far as a practice walk down the aisle :) and making sure my trail on my dress was perfect. Thank you!
Anna - for your communication throughout, the emails too and fro to again ensure my day was all I wanted.

Dunston Hall is a place you must go and visit when considering venues. I promise you will not be disappointed. I just wish I could do it all over again!
