On the 9th December 2024, we had our elopement style wedding at The Blackton Grange Estate. The venue is absolutely stunning, nestled in the most gorgeous countryside surroundings and it absolutely ticked all of our requirements for our big day. The venue is a "dry hire", self-catering, dog friendly venue, which was absolutely perfect for us! We had been looking for a wedding venue for quite some time, as we had a few requirements that we wouldn't compromise on. Our dog was the ring bearer, so it had to be a dog friendly venue (tick!). One of our party members required a downstairs disabled friendly bedroom (tick!), and we wanted a private and intimate location, set in the countryside (tick, tick and tick!). The property is vast and fully catered for all of our needs. There were 14 of us staying at the property for 2 x nights and we didn't feel like we were in each others way at all, there were plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for us to choose from. We made full use of the games room and cinema room and our guests felt really cosy once we had lit the log burner in the living room. Jodi & Stella had decorated the living area with a Christmas tree & decorations. They also set out the furniture for our ceremony the following day, moving all of the sofas to the sides of the room and providing wooden chairs for our guests to sit on. Our ceremony was absolutely amazing on the day, Jodi & Stella arrived to meet with the registrars and to ensure we had everything we needed. Following the ceremony they put the living room back together, whilst we were having our family photos taken outside, so it was an absolutely seamless change over for us. They could not have done enough for us, making sure everything had gone to plan. Communication in the lead up to our wedding was fantastic, Jodi and Stella were very accommodating of our requests, so easy to talk to, we felt like we had known them for years! We used Coghlans catering, who are based locally (and recommended by the venue), to provide us with our meals for the 2 days. This included a meal on the Sunday when we arrived, and everything for the full wedding day. We brought our own drinks and snacks (but there is always an option to get Tesco delivery service delivered to the Estate for your stay). We would highly recommend this venue for a wedding, the house and grounds are absolutely amazing, sadly the weather wasn't the best on our arrival and it had just rained for 48 hours solid beforehand, but on the actual day the sun shined brightly and the photos are amazing. There is a converted barn for bigger wedding parties which we obviously didn't require for our small elopement, but Stella & Jodi very kindly showed us around it and it looks absolutely stunning!! The venue is an absolute credit to the hard work that these two ladies have put into it, long may it continue to be a wedding venue and thank you for letting us be the first couple to tie the knot at Blackton Grange. My Fiancé and I visited The Croft for one of their open days and were overwhelmed as soon as we walked in, it is stunning. The staff were helpful, friendly and their list of recommended suppliers is amazing we can’t wait to get married here in 2025

I got married here in mid December in a small 16 person wedding and have only positive things to say about the whole experience. Organisation was very relaxed with supportive and enthusiastic support from the Lord Crewe provided wedding planning team (Megan and Chloe). We had most involvement with Chloe who impressed us with her initiative, communication and care for the wedding but both her and Megan were brilliant throughout the preparation (which seems an exaggerated term as they made everything extremely easy!) The hotel it self was magnificent, facilitating space for large group meals on Friday in amongst the rest of the hotel guests and then the separate wedding event in the gatehouse on Saturday. Food was like nothing I have ever experienced at a wedding before in both quality and quantity, despite costing no more than more conventional wedding menus. We were given great flexibility in menu choices and the online options were adapted to fit a predominantly pescetarian menu - thank you. Restaurant, hotel and bar staff were all friendly, attentive and patient in managing wedding guests. The rooms and the inn itself are magnificent but the pictures already describe that well. I'm sorry for how long it's taken to write this review, but the staff at the Lord Crewe (especially Chloe and Megan) deserve great credit for enabling a perfect wedding weekend without any stress and a brilliant time had by all guests. For a small wedding it created a special setting and provided great value for what it was able to provide

Amazing venue Jo Gemma and team gave their all to make our wedding day so special couldn't have wished for a better place to marry on May 23rd 2024 nothing was too much trouble couldn't recommend Eden grange enough from food accomodation tipis beautiful setting

We booked our wedding with 7 weeks to spare and truly could not have received a better service from the company and the venue! Our day was truly magical and everything we asked for was put in place, no matter how big or small! Down to the finest detail, it was simply stunning. I genuinely could not give enough praise and thanks when it comes to this place! We have recommended to so many people. Our guests complimented absolutely everything and also stated it was simply perfect.

My husband and I got married in October 2023, the only words to describe the day was perfect. Staff were fabulous and went above and beyond for not just us but also for our guests. I would highly recommend The Manor House Hotel and spa for a wedding venue.

Beautiful venue, amazing staff and owners We couldn’t have asked for a better day, when we saw the venue we knew it was the one for us we didn’t see any others and booked the same day. The chandeliers and beauty of the place are unmatched, a perfect wedding venue. Can we do it all again ?!

Derwent manor were fantastic the venue is beautiful and the customer service is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble! My guests had a fabulous time and we had the time of our lives. Pippa & Cassie especially did everything they could to make our day perfect. Can’t wait to come and stay again!

We had the best wedding here in January. Our whole wedding package was brilliant. The food was AMAZING! From start to finish the team were great. Everything ran so smoothly on the day which was largely due to our wedding coordinator Andrew. He made sure everything ran like clockwork without it being regimented. Any last minute thoughts i had he had already thought of and had sorted for me. I couldn't recommended the South Causey Inn highly enough.

This venue is so unique and stunning. The ceremony area, has an amazing staircase to walk down to create a beautiful entrance to the ceremony. There are so many cool rooms, with unique styling to pick from for the guests to stay in. Some have hot tubs too! The wedding breakfast room is light and airy and looks over a lovely garden with huge seating area for guests. The food was amazing and the staff were super helpful. I cannot fault the place.
