Durn House is a historical 18th-century Georgian manor house set on the outskirts of the picturesque fishing town of Portsoy. The hotel boasts 8 beautiful rooms (6 with en-suites and 2 with private bathrooms) spread across 2 floors and 3 reception rooms on the ground floor. We also boast a fantastic bar area with a wide range of beverages, a games room in the basement to enjoy some pool, and just over an acre of garden space, which is a beautiful area for pictures. Durn House is steeped in history, from ties to the battle of Culloden to a famous poem from Robert Burns; we truly make for a traditional Scottish wedding venue.
When it comes to our pricing, we don't offer package weddings. We prefer to make your wedding unique. This gives us the edge over any other venue, and we work closely with our couples to make sure it is the most perfect day of their lives.
