Amazing romantic venue
We recently had our wedding at East Mersea Hall on 5.10.24, nothing was too big or small for Anneka and her team to sort out and deal with. They went above and beyond on our special day. We had so many positive comments from guests regarding the food and stunning venue. The chef catered for all food allergies putting us at ease. The bride was very overwhelmed and the staff were brilliant in dealing with this. Couldn’t rate them highly enough.

Beautiful venue
Majority of team were so lovely and helpful with everything we needed.
There were a few mishaps on the day but very minor, and when we mentioned it, we were swiftly replied to and helped out.
Definitely recommend as beautiful venue, lovely location and plenty of opportunity for some really unique photos and videos.

We had the most wonderful wedding day at EMH - from start to finish the process of booking the venue, getting everything we needed sorted etc & on the day was just unbelievable the amount of support they provided and helped make everything be the best it possibly could!
The biggest thank you to Anneka & Kirsty who were on hand at all times in the lead up and also on the day when in true bridal fashion I was having meltdowns, suppliers were getting things wrong and I was stressing - but they were both the calm to my storm, resolved issues almost instantly and made everything so less stressful and took the issues on so they were not my problem.
I would recommend this venue and the staff to absolutely everyone - they are just amazing!!! And the grounds too, are so picturesque and all of our guests commented on how stunning this little hidden gem was 🤍 thank you so much again xxx

Venue and a half that has it all
Anneka and her team were fantastic from the start. From simply choosing the right day to the first dance every detail was accounted for. Not only in the lead up but at each meeting and through out the big day. Our guests even commented how great the staff were and how beautiful the venue was and no one was aware the place even existed tucked away on the east of the island. If we could, we would do it all over again and change nothing.

Dream Wedding Venue!!
Wow just wow!!! We had the most perfect dream wedding at East Mersea Hall. The venue is just stunning. This was the only venue we viewed as we were so blown away by its beauty. There are so many picturesque photo opportunities you just couldn’t choose a favourite. The weather was glorious and made the day even more special as we could have the ceremony in the walled garden but the other ceremony possibilities are just as pretty. Anneka the wedding coordinator was nothing short of amazing. She went above and beyond to make our day the fairytale we envisaged and we couldn’t thank her enough.

The most amazing day x

Anneka was with us from the start- she always helped us with questions, emailed us back quickly & always had the answers. Without her help we would have been stuck with a lot of things!
The grounds are beautiful, so many photo opportunities you can’t go wrong! Food is amazing, the staff are lovely, we highly, highly recommend East Mersea Hall to any future couples looking for a venue.

Magical venue, wonderful team
Even when we went to our first viewing of East Mersea Hall and it was a cold, rainy evening in March, we both knew almost instantly that this venue was magical enough to be the one for us.
It was perfect for the relaxed feel we were after for our slightly smaller wedding and knew the walled ceremony area was just what we were looking for.
The whole team were absolutely brilliant in the lead up to the day, especially Anneka who was always on hand for any number of questions we threw at her! Everyone on the day was so efficient and even more importantly, so lovely! We knew everything was in hand and the food was to die for. Plus in the sunshine, it really comes to life.
It's a stunning venue that now holds so many wonderful memories for us from our day.

Wonderful wedding - no regrets!
We got married at East Mersea Hall last month and words can't describe how wonderful our day was!
From our first visit right through to our day the team were all so amazing and attentive - especially Anneka who we liaised with throughout the whole process, nothing was too much to ask and her replies were always so helpful and so quick!
The venue is so naturally gorgeous so it was just easy to make it look stunning on the day.
We opted for a BBQ as we were wanting a more casual/relaxed day and it went down so well with our guests - the food was delicious, as were our canapes!
We also wanted to have a fresh crepe van in the evening as our dessert and this was no trouble to the venue which was great as we really wanted to add this to our day.
Anneka made sure our day ran smoothly and I as the bride, really didn't have to worry or think too much on the day which made such a difference as you naturally feel nervous but Anneka took this all off my shoulders which I'm so grateful for.
Our day was just what we hoped it would be and more - we don't have any regrets which we feel is so lucky to say about our wedding - thank you so much for everything, we would recommend this venue to anyone who is hoping to have a lovely, carefree wedding day!

What can we say other than THE perfect venue!
This was the first venue we’d been to look at and from the moment we saw it, we knew it was the one. Anneka was great from start to finish and really put our minds at ease on the day knowing everything was in hand.
The venue makes for some stunning photos and the food was incredible as stated by all of our guests.
It was the best day of our lives and we couldn’t recommend East Mersea Hall enough!

The best day ever 💕
Where do we even begin? Anneka & Kirsty at East Mersea Hall have been an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. They answered all of our 101 questions so speedily and made sure to go above and beyond with every aspect of the planning process.
They were both so in control of everything during the on the day coordination and made us feel so calm & that we could just enjoy our day rather than worrying about anything.
It was honestly the best day of our lives and we couldn’t rate it higher. We have had so many guests say it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and it is all thanks to East Mersea Hall.
Shout out also to Kayleigh, who was beyond helpful to everyone all night, making sure that both guests and suppliers had enough food and who nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely Amazing!!
We got married a week ago. All I can say is WOW, this place is absolutely stunning with the grounds and the pavilion. We go married inside as it was very chilly but even that was so lovely and intimate. The team are absolutely amazing especially Anneka who organised our wedding. It went so smoothly and was absolutely perfect from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend East Mersea Hall more for a wedding venue.

The best wedding venue
As cliche as it sounds, we knew as soon as we walked into East Mersea Hall that it was the venue for us. The secluded location and diversity of options at the venue make it truly unique. From the intimate ceremony hall, outer grounds + lake, outdoor ceremony alcove, woodland area and pavilion.
Anneka and Gill were friendly, approachable, responsive, knowledgeable & helped make the whole process enjoyable and stress free. Gill was a star on the day and ensured everything ran smoothly, including sorting a few minor hiccups!
All of the staff including the waiting team and chefs were incredible and accommodating.
Kate and I have said that with all the money in the world and no location restrictions we would still have selected East Mersea Hall as our wedding venue and would thoroughly recommend the venue and amazing team to anyone.

Our Beautiful Wedding Day
The most amazing venue, the most perfect day! East Mersea Hall felt like a fairytale venue. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the stunning scenery. Cannot thank Anneka and the team enough! We visited many venues before deciding on East Mersea Hall, and we chose the best one. Anneka carried such a calm and highly knowledgeable aura, making us feel comfortable and no question ever felt too much! Her organisation and efficiency with emails helped us feel prepared and relaxed. Big shout out to the chef who cooked the most delicious food. Our friends and family are still talking about his mouth watering paella! A special thank you to Kirsty for giving us the opportunity to come back and get those 'golden hour' shots! Our wedding truly was the best day of our lives, thank you East Mersea Hall! ❤️

The most amazing wedding venue!
It's hard to know where to begin to try and explain how amazing this venue is. We fell in love from our first visit with the beautiful grounds. This venue has it all, a beautiful pavilion, outdoor options, amazing photo opportunities and to top it all off a wonderful team. From our first viewing with Kirsty to all the planning with Anneka to the day with the rest of the team everything was handled with amazing care and attention. We had a pagan ceremony and nothing we threw at them was too much trouble. Everything was set up how we imagined it, our day went off without a hitch and we had the most amazing time. Its truly so hard to put into words how special this venue is and I can not recommend highly enough. If you are planning a wedding then go see for yourself.

The Best Wedding Venue you could find
Not sure where to begin. Firstly with what a spectacularly beautiful place East Mersea Hall is. Every attention to detail from the moment you arrive in their enchanting car park. The bridal suite with the dressing room and mirrors akin to a salon. The ante room where you feel part of a family when meeting the registrars. The ceremony room which is intimate and beautiful. The patio and lake. Oh what a backdrop. Finally the reception room with a full sided view of the lake, comfortable chairs, well-stocked good size bar and fabulous toilets with a big mirror in the ladies (can't speak for the men's). Add all this to the perfect wedding team. Kirsty and Anneka have it all sewn up. There isn't single thing I could fault. Anneka is the perfect hostess. Nothing is too much trouble and everything runs like clockwork. The food is spectacular. All of our guests agreed. If you are considering getting married, you would be a fool to chose anywhere else.
