Sitting on 3 acres of woodland and pristine countryside, the property is a labour of love that took over ten years to complete. Owner Louise McDonald wanted to share her vision of living in nature with others, and so Elassar Yurt Village was born. Louise and her team love working with nearlyweds and always go the extra mile to ensure each wedding is an unforgettable experience for all.

Facilities and Capacity

Elassar Yurt Village caters to large and small weddings with between 60 and 120 guests. The venue offers couples the ultimate blank canvas where they can express their love for one another in their own unique fashion. The gorgeous natural setting provides a multitude of options for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Nearlyweds can exchange vows outdoors, under the sun or the stars, or inside, where the largest yurt can accommodate up to 120 attendees. The venue boasts a wood-fired hot tub, fire pit, treehouse kitchen, children's play area, and even a cinema tent, so guests of all ages are sure to fall in love with this beautiful oasis of calm. Each of the spotlessly clean yurts can accommodate up to 4 people and features hand-carved double beds and gorgeous Moroccan-style furniture. The venue also has clean chipped pathways and all the modern amenities people expect, including hot showers, toilets, and gas stoves.

Services Offered

Elessar Yurt Village provides various services that couples can customise as they see fit. The team offers an entire weekend, which means more time for celebration, pre and post-wedding activities, and a more relaxed experience. A wedding coordinator is provided to ensure each celebration is as seamless as it is memorable. Accommodation is available onsite in luxury Mongolian yurts and vintage Airstream caravans. There is also a Bridal yurt where the newlyweds-to-be can prepare and relax. Couples have the option of hiring extra marquees for additional capacity. Outside vendors are welcome, and the team can supply a list of quality local suppliers if needed. Groups can also bring their own food and drink, and the venue do not charge for corkage. The property is conveniently located just 4 miles from Chichester City centre, and the mainline train station is just a short drive away. This eco-conscious hidden gem has plenty of parking and is pet friendly. The only problem is that when the wedding is over, nobody will want to leave.
